- Eminem needs cancelled.... after I the new Eminems new song I thought I had to take a stand and cancel him as a Gen Z I knew I needed to be the one........ well that's just wrong this video is about all the millennials saying that Gen Z are cancelling him.

Have you heard of "Killshot" there's a particular line when Eminem said "some prick usin' my name for clickbait" and that's definitely somebody who is trying to cancel Eminem for nothing but making a good music. There's a lot of things "Worthy" of being cancelled like the "Cancel Culture" itself because it's just a bunch of people who wants attention...

As far as rappers who've fought the battle for freedom of speech----2 Live Crew would be the kings of that.
Back in the 1980's, a sheriff and a county judge in Florida decided that 2 Live Crews music met the legal definition of "obscene". This resulted in some counties making it illegal to sell the groups music. And in one case, a retailer was actually arrested for selling one of their albums to an undercover cop.
Eventually, the decision to label their music as obscene was overturned by a state court ( a court thats higher and more powerful than a county court), and the Supreme Court of the United States basically sided with the state courts ruling and thus 2 Live Crews music was once again legal.
2 Live Crew went on to release their fourth album "Banned in The USA" in 1990, and it went double platinum.
All this happened well before Eminem came onto the scene. :)
Somehow Gen Z is a bit like America, pretty divided and one side is definitely crazier than the other. On the one hand, pretty grounded and chilled but on the other hand.....more sensitive than a soap bubble but loud, arrogant and self-entitled with the belief that they know everything better.
Seriously, it took less than 24 minutes and the first demands on Twitter/Tictoc that Eminem apologize to Megan the Stallion and that he should remove the song from RUclips and change the lyrics.24 MIN and the first Cancel him demands or demands for an apology were there!!
In recent years, Gen Z has unfortunately managed to change or even completely remove a lot of things that were important parts of growing up for most millennials.
And that's exactly why we're pushing this side of Gen Z with these statements in the direction of the barbed wire-wrapped thorn bush called Eminem, because we're so tired of these BS and they'll all burst like the soap bubbles they are.
But it's always a ray of hope to see someone from the grounded, chilled Gen Z's. nice👍
Never heard of gen Z talked about like that but it’s a great analogy for us being so divided. I don’t use twitter so that’s how I have missed all the comments on him from there, but saying that I should do better research if I want to do videos like this.

The United States Congress tried to cancel Eminem over 20 years ago.....clearly it did not work.
Tried again to cancel him, when he released "The Marshal Mathers LP"......clearly did not work.
Tried to cancel Eminem when he released "The Warning" in 2008 or so.....clearly didn't work.
Tried to cancel Eminem when he released "Revival LP".....clearly did not work.
Tried to cancel Eminem when he released "Killshot", "The Realist", and now "Houdini"......it still ain't working.
People just need to realize.....Em ain't going anywhere. If the US government could not do it, a bunch of spoiled kids who haven't been on this planet long enough to speak about what rap is supposed to sound like are going to.

I would say he broke a lot of censorship stereotypes because he was white. I black man would not have been as widely accepted for using the "f" (gay) word and certainty not popularized because of it. Eminem was able to cross linguistic borders because of, not in spite of, his differences compared to other extremely popular hip-hop/rap artists of the generation when he was first growing large. Dre saw this and capitalized on it.
