I’m at a crossroads myself. Either stay in the US and work till I die to “get by” ….. or I can retire in the next year or two at age 55 in Thailand and never look back.
Not much of a decision right? I always tell people, try a full year. That is how long it really takes to get a feel for a place. You can always go back.

The world today is not like 50 yrs ago. Its perfectly fine to live anywhere you want as long as you can afford it.
