Nice to see a path provided for people with mobility issues. Thanks for a relaxing video. Hiking shouldn’t always be about miles accomplished but more about getting out in nature.
THAT is what i have been thinking we need more of, to see more of, would be GREAT!
You grew up on a farm? That is so cool. I'm new to your channel and it's a very calming place. Your videos actually calm my ADHD almost as much as being in nature does.
Yes, Levitz Park is beautiful and well-maintained :) My parents live in Palmyra, and my Dad has worked with the managers of the park to gain permission to plant paw paw trees there! We call him Pop-Pop Paw Paw, because he wants to go around planting them in various places, like Johnny Appleseed 😊 Nice video!
Wow!!!! I just found flea bane in my yard. Its not around the patio tho, wonder if I can dig it up and replant it so the patio will be free if bugs (maybe). Im excited! That horn sounded like a Viking horn.❤❤
Thanks Cliff.
Another beautiful area.
What a lovely trail. Those wildflowers are beautiful especially the wild geranium. The birdsong was heavenly. Really enjoyed that. Thanks for taking me along. Please take care
Those geraniums were beautiful. I loved them and the footbridges. That heron was awesome ,being so close to you. Elderberry jelly is soo good. Loved this video. Wish I were there. Stay safe.❤❤❤❤
Haven't been there in many years. I figured this is where you would be headed after Memorial Lake. Beautiful place! That tubing looks like a maple syrup operation.
Hello Cliff I like your videos very much. I am not very sure but that tubing maybe for collecting maple sap.
I have never been there. Spend a lot of time at Memorial Lake. Hike, fish, picnic. Great place.
Enjoy this little park, been there several times this year.
Hey @Wandering Woodsman, the 2nd flower, you thought might be Salvia?, could that be a type of Nettle? It looked really tall, but very similar to the smaller ones that look like it, that i find in my yard - they get to be about 2, 3, inches high. They have the same color flowers and dark leaves. If so, it supposedly has health, medicinal properties.
I will definitely check out this park.
Tubing looks to be for Maple Syrup.
Are those maple trees ? Tubing up here in Massachusetts is used to collect sap to be made into syrup
Cliff, just saw your teaser that you are starting the Mason-Dixon trail. Do you have the M-D trail map set? If you don’t, I’ll get one sent to you. Let me know.
Maple sap lines.
The purple flowers are ajuga.
I am from Philadelphia born and raised now live in South Jersey but you said in one of your videos you mentioned that you were in southeast Pennsylvania near Harrisburg isn't Harrisburg Western Pennsylvania
Might be maple sugar syrup or birch syrup within that trees!
Here in Ohio, they use that tubbing to collect maple syrup.
