- Watch Dr Pieter Groenewald Leader of the Freedom Front Plus responding to and debating the State Of The Nation 2023 Address by President Rhamaphosa in Parliament.
The Constitution affords all South Africans the right to see and hear what happens in Parliament.
For the last 7 years and for the benefit of subscribers and the community “My Africa” search for sequences that are newsworthy, interesting, funny etc. From a, sometimes long and boring, Parliament sitting allowing the community the opportunity to choose which sequence they find interesting and want to watch.
As a result “My Africa” adds significant value to those effected by the exceptionally high cost of Data and Pay TV.
Also “My Africa” allows the community to comment and contribute to discussions in a meaningful manner and take the stories and the debate forward.
However, we will NOT condone the following:
- Racism (including offensive comments based on ethnicity and nationality)
- Sexism
- Homophobia
- Religious intolerance
- Cyber bullying
- Hate speech
- Derogatory language
- Comments inciting violence.
We strive to make the RUclips community a safe and welcoming space for all.

Love endures many things and overcomes many failures. The people however must chose who flies their plane. If I had to get on a boing and there is only one person that can fly that plane i wont look at skin colour. I want to arrive safely on the other side. The same applies to our electricity. Government cannot pilot this electricity plane. It should be piloted by a team that knows how. It should be piloted by the best crime unit WITHOUT POLITICAL INTERFERENCE AS IT IS STARTING TO COST LIVES.

@Travelling Man No, it means a lot because look at the United Independent Movement Neil de Beer for example who has no seats in parliament so therefore a lot of what they say are on their Facebook pages & RUclips pages. People voting for him, more in the last election.... It actually shows that he is a good leader & that people believe in him. Why not join a bigger opposition party? Well, I have no answer for that but even I do think that a lot of smaller parties & new ones turn out to be the much better ones. UIM Neil de Beer, AAA Movement with former chief justice Mogoeng Mogoeng, ActionSA (actually not so small party & neither is the UIM), a lot of these smaller parties are actually bigger parties than some of the bigger parties because they believe in God/Jesus & speak true facts, what they say they will do if ever gotten voted in for president is just something cannot be explained & must be hear what they say

It has been almost 30 years now since South Africa has been a democracy. I can only speak for the new generation of white South Africans, like my 13 year old grandson. He does not see race. He mixes at school with every colour of fellow South Africans. He only sees his future in South Africa. Admittedly he is very lucky to be receiving a good education but all he wants to do is, as mentioned in this speech, to help build up South Africa. He is not like an older white South African who has to move on and accept the new South Africa. He has nothing to ‘move from’. He only knows the present and wants a future for himself in South Africa.
The alternative is to leave South Africa and I can tell you that for all South Africans, no matter what colour they are, will never truly be happy in another country and their homesickness only becomes worse the older they become.
It has already been stated but look how well the Springboks now play with a much diverse team. There has been additional strength added to their style with the running and natural quick footedness of the likes of Kolbe, Arendse and Willemse.
Look what can be achieved if the country uses all its human resources to address this current crisis.

Someone who refuses to work, or learn, or understand how money or school or university works, can't just be dragged up the ladder. Systems naturally auto-regulate, the top get to the top, and if they are all white or black, the rest of us, should be happy, as we need the geniuses and engineers and scientists to be the best in the world, not a certain race. race mandating of any kind anywhere is foolish and ultimately destroys an economy, which we are now seeing.
1 - no forms should ask you what race you are
2 - if you are underprivileged (can't afford the best university), but you've got the grades, you can apply for a bursary (regardless of race)
3 - talent should be identified at a young age and fostered
4 - improve the overall education of all kids - literacy rate has dropped in SA in the last 30 years - if you cannot read, you cannot improve
5 - get rid of the CCMA and other unions - the owners of businesses have it in their best interests to make their businesses better and more profitable, to grow. the countries in the world with the LEAST labour laws, have the biggest economies, like China and the USA - endless labour laws is basically socialism and costs billions of rands and millions of jobs
6 - lower taxation on small businesses, higher taxation on big corporates - small business are the ONLY REAL job creators ever; government doesn't do it, and big corporations don't do it
7 - Time. once non-racial policies and compliance are implemented, with proper education and training being available to all who are underprivileged, just wait.... we've already lost 30 years, but just wait, and over time, the great black business man, the great black farmer, the great black engineer, or white engineer, or white farmer, or whatever, will raise to the top. that is how free market capitalism works.

Afrikaans on the other hand was not the language of Jan Van Riebeeck and the ancestors of the Afrikaners - they spoke dutch. Afrikaans was invented by non whites, who we today call coloureds/mixed raced/brown people. Afrikaans is an african language while english is not, simple as that.

Pieter Groenewald often plays with a straight bat, no fluff no window dressing. His party FF+ target market are those ‘44 people’ Charlize spoke about. They are proud and unapologetic about it. He has a niche audience and is not trying to communicate with 80%+ of the population who he wants to be isolated from in his dream of a Boer republic. Parliament and all these other institutions are just a prop for him. All these African political party leaders speak very eloquently in their mother tongues and or home languages & their delivery might be succinct if they spoke venac but they often speak (sometimes cobble up words) in English because they want to reach a wider audience and cultural subordination to foster social cohesion. Malema for example speaks much better Sepedi than he speaks English, but if he went hard core a lot of his messaging would be lost. The Germans have this wonderful saying “If I'm selling to you, I speak your language. If I'm buying, then you need to speak my language!”
