    I have a 92x RDO compact, I love it, accurate, no issue or malfunctions, close to 1k rounds threw it. As you say though qc could be better. The gun functions perfectly. Good video thanks!

    Interesting video. Very good observations. Good luck with your new Gun. I plan to buy one, myself. I've had many different 92 Series and other Beretta platforms over the Years. I guess, I should try this one! LOL!

    I wonder if Beretta CEOs in Italy actually come down and check up on the Tennessee Beretta plant.

      James Reeves just did a video at the Beretta factory in Italy for TFBTV I watched yesterday

      @@erik22lax Yeah I saw that. The factory looks so much cleaner than the one in Tennessee. That probably explains a lot of the quality control issues in the Tennessee plant.

    4:58 the problem with this statement here, that you don’t like the quality control “because it looks like they put a bunch of rounds through it”… that actually IS the quality control. All quality guns are test fired prior to final packaging and shipping. They’re testing for function and accuracy. I would worry if I got a new gun and it didn’t show any signs of being fired at the factory.
    And the barrel lockup the slide is how all 92s have been for decades.

      No they missed the QC that's why the barrel/slide fit is so bad. If that's the Beretta standard of QC I'll pass.

      @@erik22lax Well, it’s not a bull barrel and it doesn’t have a bushing, so how would you propose that they make it fit the slide differently?

    • @erik22lax

      Do a better job machining the slide, which was poorly done.

      @@erik22lax LOL. The oldest firearms manufacturer in the world and still to this day, one of the most highly regarded… they should take notes.

    Nice review! Love the 92 in general. Had a chance to pick the XI up for a good price, but after watching other reviews I was not impressed with what I saw trigger wise. A trip to LLT would have cut into the good deal.

      Trigger is squishy. See how it goes after it gets more rounds through it. 1st 100 I put through a few hours ago and not a fan right off the bat. But I am used to CZ and 1911 so might just be adjusting to it. It shoots real flat though and the reset is super short. Maybe should have went with the 92FS instead or M9a4.

      It’s 850$ right now was thinking about getting it but idk looking for one that’s a a few bucks cheaper

    750? Maybe they sold you a used gun?

    • @erik22lax
      @erik22lax  2 месяца назад

      Technically all guns are used if they were proof fired/function tested but how dirty it was had to be way more than a few rounds

      @@erik22lax ok let’s not go down a semantic rabbit hole here. You know what I meant. Mine was 950 I think so trying to account for that 200 bucks.
