I bought it a month ago. Great car, unmolested and a great find. I have tinted the windows and added the Marauder rear spoiler. Awesome find and could not be happier.
How you liking it so far? Was looking at P71s and came across these. The air suspension in them is more to my liking as I'd be using it for a lot of around town driving and road trips. That said I like the simplicity of the P71 cars.
I bought it to be a road trip car. I had the transmission rebuilt last December, but the overdrive went out again. That seems to be the weak spot in these cars. I am currently swapping in a 5 speed manual from a mustang. I have seen many videos of people doing the same. I was getting around 24 mpg with the automatic, but the 5 speed should do much better. I am very happy with the car overall..
New update on the 2005 LX Sport. The transmission started to slip so I had it rebuilt at AAMCO. It lasted about 6 months and then I lost overdrive. That pushed me to do what I was thinking about in the back of my mind...In August, I performed a 5 speed swap on the Crown Vikki. Tremec 3650 from a 2008 Mustang GT, Hurst Competition Plus short throw shifter, stage 2 clutch and pressure plate, and a Wilwood pedal and master cylinder. Added a Marty Tune from Mo's Speed shop in Georgia, and all done.. Completed the task on Monday August, 19 and left for a trip to Canada on that Friday. 3100 mile round trip and no problems at all. The fuel economy went up to 27 mpg. The overdrive in the 5 speed is much better than the automatic. This car is a blast to drive and I love the looks it gets when people hear it go through the gears. Love my car!!!
Wet sand and buff will help all the scratches you touched up . Clean ride but who ever did the touch up didn't do to well hiding it that's why I say wet sand and buff . Other then that that's a clean one I got one in the garage with 88k miles
Why Ford ever stopped the panther platform cars is beyond me. But hey I think electric cars are just too expensive. The industry needs to get back to making cars and internal combustion engines. Wake up america.
Sheeple stopped buying cars like this after BIG$ handed the Feds the regs to let SUVs bypass car regs. "Who run Bartertown?" Supply creates demand, and markets are not efficient or free. Same with why GM killed LeSabre, and Olds. Ya can't sell new (delicate) cars very often when the old ones last 30 to 40 years with reasonable maintenance.. George Carlin - "Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that." My 2004 GM and 2007 Yaris suit me.
If you're still looking, check my videos. I'm about to list ours as we will be moving up north from Florida soon. Ours is about as clean as it gets for an lx sport. post on my video if you're interested. Either way good luck, hopefully Cleetus hasn't bought all the cv's yet. 😂
Hello, I happen to have one of these unicorns for sale. If they are in high demand as you mentioned I would be more than happy to sell it. 2006 Lx Sport with center shifter. Please feel free to contact me.
Hi Jimmy, if you could send me an email at herringautomotiveinfo@gmail.com with your contact information and a little about your car, we may be able to make something happen. Thanks!

@@robertsmith9156 wow interesting. How much will that run you?
Not a bunch of chips . sensors and computers . uncomplicated RWD panther platform, meat and potatoes. a Mans car!!
The LX sport is nice, but with me being an ol' head I prefer the good ol' column shifter.🙂
Yea this is cool but nothing like that column shifter
Me too. I have the leather bench seat. 6 passenger car. Like the cars I remember back I n the late 60 and 70s. Drive in and hi way cars.

Beautiful cv!! They dont make em like this anymore....please preserve n protect these cars at all costs🙏🏾
I own 3 Crown Victoria Sports. All bone stock original.
What a find! I've been looking for an LX trim in black in that kind of condition. It will be a classic for sure👌
Replace the driver's lumbar switch. If going for premium price, EVERYTHING has to be in order.
Good eye!! It looked factory to me at first but now I realize they don’t have a screw. Thanks for your comment
