#c15romahome, #citroenc15, #microcamper,
Ah love these little things. Amazing what they managed to do with not a lot of space. Would be a great introduction to camper van life.
A great little camper van, it would be Ideal for a weekend fishing trip
J'adore ce c15 sublime ❤
Class wee van. 😊
I used to drive a c15 van when i worked at citroen delivering parts, brilliant little vans, never drove the motor home version tho, brilliant video as usual 👌👌
I had a Visa back in the 80's; what a great little car it was.
I do like the C15, brilliant simple and no nonsense vehicle.
The vans were a proper tardis, so a perfect base for a wee camper and worth pointing out that you did get a version with a fixed higher roof and a (child sized) bunk over the cab.
I'd love to have one of them
Very nice and clever concept, perfect size for one person…❤
Who doesn't love a Roma Home
Always wanted one of these 😊
the blue connecter, connects the water drum to the system
lovely camper 👍
cool little van that could be used for some fun holidays .
Ex romahome owner here, Bedford rascal, demountable. The storm of 87 was a terror for someone we were giving a lift to 😂
I've always had a soft spot for these so thank you for putting one to the test. I actually quite fancy one now. Always liked vehicles that are a bit quirky compared to the norm.
The coats do actually hang behind the sink!!👍
I entered the retroshite competition to win this before seeing this video, and was looking up the Romahome to see what they’re like just incase I do actually win.. watched this whole video before realising it’s the actual vehicle that I could win 😅
Those were the days when Citroen made good cars that lasted. Sadly those days are well behind us… I just had to scrap a 6 year old 2018 Grand C4 that’s beyond repair, my first ever and the very last ever Citroen.
Great video. I shudder to think of what HubNut would make of those bolt operated wipers…..!
id really like that
The exterior socket by the nearside door is almost certainly for the electric water pump for the sink.
Got a 54 plate c15 version for sale. Needs some TLC, parts and welding etc. Be a project for an enthusiast.
You need to watch antony valentine, camper nerd, dont ask my why i watch, i don't even camp. But he reviews and sells campers, does a few of these, think it has a lot more features than you think. They are surprisingly expensive too.
"Half a house on the back" fantastic comment
Shout out to ex Tanfield Ltd employers in Horsham, West Sussex that used to sell these and the later Citroen AX based versions. I used to work at their Towabar And Trailer Centre in Essex and visited and saw these out on the forecourt back in the 90s.
I remember my boss (the company owners son) telling me all about how cool these tiny campers were. I used to go on family caravan holidays so I already appreciated this kinda thing anyways. So cool and so near and tidy.
They installed a higher power alternator, hence a larger battery
Awww... Chris is cute! ;-)
I have a self build Vivaro based camper which drives like a car, has a 1 second rock and roll bed and my question is "Why?" I lot of messing around for what?
Brilliant design but the cab and firewall scuttle would rot like crazy..
Brilliant fuel economy on these drop down/pop up roof versions.. with diesel engine.
Done well with 14k views on this, you'll have to do motorhome reviews😂
yes, I was thinking that, not my cuppa tea, but was fun filming it all the same
@@RetroRatchet fingers crossed the numbers will continue to increase. Need to get a Volvo 480 on the channel, I still think these look such an impressive small coupe😍
The little flap with blue inside is for a water pump
It’s the 240 hook up fgs
I don’t know how I’d fit in there, as a six footer, in terms of head height and bed length, otherwise I’d have one!😊
gave a like and follow...what was the price...???
One thing I really cannot tolerate is going on the beds with shoes on. 🤦🏻
작지만 캠핑을 하기엔 충분해 보이네요.
Deary me
Horrible things remember driving one a citroen visa
This guy doesn't know much about camper vans. 'I guess this is for' and 'I don't know what this if for' ' we seem to have a wee sunroof' I don't know how this roof works' is not at all helpful
lol - you would never have guessed, as there is not a single camper in the last 150 videos. the video was about a person who restores retro cars and drives subscribers cars, who had the opportunity to drive a retro camper. dead simple....what you seen was my honest review, not staged and over prepped. seems a lot of people liked it. 👍🏻
French cars are crap , the French are more interested in finishing work by midday than producing quality motors.
You obviously know nothing about cars and have never worked in France. Troll on, loser...
Would have loved to see the wipes work with the big bolt 🔩 LOL
