Yes, more texture techniques would be great please 😊 enjoyed the video and will try some out..i wonder if coloured alcohol might be interesting to try e.g. aperol (orange)? I'll try it out 😁
Another great tutorial Michele, I love them all the techniques but so far only played with cling film. I'd love to see more texture videos please and thank you again for your generosity and your great humour 😊
I love this video Michelle... I thought the pebbles would look great in a frame with the background colors! I use small rocks, shells, etc. just to look at, maybe surrounded by a candle... OK, off subject! Can't help but to admire your beautiful top... love colors and neckline... Thank you and God bless you... enjoy your weekend Michelle! A California Gramma ♥️
Wow I love the Bleach & Alcohol textures work, definitely new to me. Yes, I would to see even more texture technique videos. Always such fun things learned with each new video. Thanks for sharing this😃💕! Have a wonderful weekend!
I love these! Can't wait to experiment with my kids 😁 we have used salt before, but always table salt. I never thought to use bigger granules or even to add more color afterward...I love the effects! I have also used the back of a paintbrush handle fairly effectively for embossing method ;)
Thanks Michele. Such fun! So many possibilities. Pebbles as a resist, large grained salt. I'm too clumsy for bleach. My favorite is plastic wrap . Some paints don't react to salt much of at all. So I've gone through my pallets and labeled the brands that do not react. I was driving myself mad thinking I was doing something wrong and adjusting timing and water until I figured that one out. Always wondered how they make vegan sushi. 🤣 💜
@@IntheStudiowithMicheleWebber My granddaughter munches on dried seaweed like it's crisps. 🤮😵💫 Too fishy for me. And I like fish! I'm allergic to 98% of fruits and veg. Took 50 years and countless hospital and doctors to figure out what was nearly killing me. Huge moral dilemma because I love animals and believe they love and have emotions. 😔 Wish I could tolerate more legumes and soy.
This is so much fun!!! Learning new stuff from you all the time!! Binge watch your videos!! Can't learn it fast enough!! Certainly gets those creative juices flowing!!!
Great video, some of these I have not seen before. LOVE your sense of humor. It catches me by surperise and makes me laugh out loud. A great pick-me-up. Thanks.
Loved these texture ideas 😊 I went to the NEC in early November for the craft show and Jackman’s had a stand so I bought some of his watercolour paint, it’s really lovely paint and a good price too 😊
Great video ... as an option to embossing tools you can use similar looking sculpting tools and get a selection of sizes from Amazon or other outlets. They are quite cheap.
very good video, thanks! I think some of the methods will be very useful for making abstract paintings, maybe even on canvas and with thinned acrylic colors.
I absolutely love all these texture techniques Michele! Would love to see more videos with any others that you recommend! There are some here that I've never seen before! Thank you so much for all your brilliant tutorials!
You can used a dried up ball point pen as a embossing tool its a great way to upcycle a old pen and for them to no go in a landfill...enjoyed these techniques also ive trued a few rubberbands wrapped around a toilet paper roll empty insert i just roll it along my paint to get cool lines...mikelle art mom🎨✍👩🎨
I find different makes of cling film give different effects Some seem more rigid than others. Another household object I have used is the netting that sometimes surrounds fruit I love playing with textures so yes please to more Thank you x
I saved some bubble wrap last week but wasn't sure how to use it, so this is wonderful info., thanks! My favorite examples you've done here are the plastic wrap and the embossing/pencil. I'll have to try them all and see how it goes :)
Hello I’m new to your channel and I love what you use water colour. I never used water colour before I will give it a try. A 👍to you, can I use vodka to use on my painting. I’ve used salt on my painting when I was at college. I’m a visual artist, but I have used it once to do a background for me to do my traditional painting. Your painting images looks so beautiful and it’s like making shadows. By the way I hope to hear from you soon, take care and stay safe. 🌺🦋🌈💖❤️😊😘🙏🏻God Bless you and your family . Edith - Come on over to Michele's Facebook page, if you'd like. It's a fabulous page - lots of wonderful artists and friendly people. Michele has provided a link her to FB page below her video. Hope to see you over there! ;-)
I had a brainwave while watching your video! I was inspired to go off and create dandelion clocks using alcohol drops :) Thanks for the inspo and also bleach safety advice - I'm always so nervous using it!
You always give me some of the best ideas and your great at teaching!! Wishing you all the best and joy and health and happiness over the holidays 😊!! By the way I also hate gin it's yucky! Here they call it bumbie! 😆
Interesting textures. I guess we could maybe use a needle or nail or something to drop smaller amounts of alcohol or bleach if we wanted some small areas of texture.

Lol, I'm vegan but I don't like vegan sushi because they use seaweed to make it taste like fish. And I don't like fish :-)

Good idea!
Love this video. So much fun and so interesting. Many thanks!
Great techniques, and some really nice abstract effects that are only really limited by your imagination
P.S. today's nails! 👍

I have used netting, it's sometimes hard to get it to lay flat of course.
@@IntheStudiowithMicheleWebber yes I did get sore fingers holding it spread open 😂😂
Hope you sorted the mirror out ? Loving the nails . Thank you for all the tips
Thankyou so much! I have used plastic wrap but not scrunched it up like you have. The effect is amazing!
Yes it's such a pretty effect!
Just a tip: I use a crochet hook instead of an embossing tool. 😊
And ofcourse thank you for this inspiration.
Great tip!
So useful as usual. Thank you for making this lesson.
Glad you enjoyed it!
You always have more to show us. Thank you. And I use the crochet hook too !
Yes a great, clever idea.
Embroidery needles work too :-)
Brilliant tip at 16 minutes in! So cool how to enhance the embossing effect! Thank you. 💙🙏🌵🌵🌵
