As usual another great and sensible podcast by MW. Rounded up almost all the points to consider, before deciding on buying a Sub four meter SUV or a compact SUV. To add to the above content, if you are someone who is not averse towards buying an used car, you can find a decent 2-4 years used Top Variant mid size SUV of your choice in the used car market, at the price point lower than that of a new top end sub-four meter SUV. I was in same confusion between Sonet & Seltos. Finally took Seltos HTK+ Diesel for 17L which is 1.5L higher than Sonet Diesel AT. I tried almost all Mid size SUV and SUV’s like Creta & Carens , Seltos. But I could clearly feel difference in comfort, Driving, suspension etc way better than Sub4 SUV’s. Finally took Seltos IMT-HTK+ diesel . Happy with my decision. Even in worst road conditions Seltos saves our back and spine effortlessly along with decent mileage , lesser engine noise etc….gem to own it.
Thank you Motowagon. Can you do one video to clarify the below queries. 1) Leather seat comes only with top end. Do we need to put after market leather seat or keep with original fabric seats. Because we lost some comfort in after market(AM) seat covers also changing one oem seat costs the same as AM seat covers. 2) In today’s world, dash cam is necessary in all cars that will help us legally. Also it costs very less. Is this a mandatory accessory now? 3) Also installing aftermarket tyre pressure monitoring sensors in OEM tyres will make any trouble or not? 4) What’s your opinion on led headlights? i am against changing oem electrical/mechanical parts but few are preferring to install after market led lights. 5) What is the safe speed in highway for peaceful life? just extra 20/30 km/hr costs many life’s. 6) How to maintain a car with good as new (not possible technically) but need tips. Even though we serviced the car at regular interval at authorised service centre. Need good tips like you said i will wash the car even at outstation (tindivanam lodge car washing at that time of velu sir meet) 7) How to increase the fuel efficiency in both manual and automatic cars. Some tips will help us if you know any 😅 8) I don’t believe in ceramic coating and all. Is it really worth or it’s just a gimmick (like asir’s words) 9) With immense of knowledge about cars, why don’t you open a used car sales (like maruti true value). Just a virtual showroom in website with vehicle info health & wealth. You can act between a buyer and seller. Today scanning machine and certified authorities will provide scores. 10) What your team future plan? (Sorry just want to know asirs team future. Unga mela ula akarai la keten) Merry Christmas and Advance Happy New Year for Asir and Team. I wish and pray for 1 M subscribers soon in 2023 not just 3L 😊
You're right Sir!! When I wanted to upgrade from my 2010 i10 hatch to next car (after 12 years; 1.25 lakh kilometres), starting from i20, almost went through all cars and variants. Finally ended up choosing KIA Carens 1.4 GDI Turbo Luxury Plus variant. Driving and comfort both were our top priorities. With all 3 reclinable rows, dedicated AC vents for all seats etc., it's one of our family members now. If only 4/5 people travelling, we have ample amount of boot space. Feeling comfortable to drive, family members sitting happily on long journeys...
I am also the one who changed the buying decision form Sub 4mt SUV to Mid Size SUV after considering all this aspects you have discussed in this MotoCast.
Sir, Excellent and much needed content that reflects current mindset of people . Many families in India where buying a car itself feels like a life time achievment, the name SUV itself would be enourmous thing while taking decision...I booked a Kiger RXT CVT(top end) after watching your Kiger 2022 review... My first car is a second hand Santro. I had a desire to buy a SUV as my second brand new car (Ecosport is my dream car , sad that Ford is out of India). But I did have few constraints including budget. So as per the mentioned category of people in this video (I belong to feature oriented category), Now I am compromised to a top end model of sub compact SUV still within 13L range.
I initially planned for a mid size suv. I went and look creta then seltos. I test drived them, loved their engine power and space. I asked the showroom to bring it to my home to try parking space, i came to know its tedious to handle a big car. then i opted to venue and here im owning venue top end. my opinion is a bigger car though it offers better space is not for everyone. in todays city traffic and narrow road a comparatively smaller car offers quick maneuvering and easy driving. yes Engine is a big compromise but 4 people can easily accommodate with one week of luggage.
Both the Sub 4m and mid-size SUV in our countries are mostly toy cars ...underpowered, lacking 4 Wheel drive. These toys just have high ground clearance that can assist in toppling the car at the slightest hint of trouble. Hence amongst these atrocities the mid size SUVs are relatively safer to drive on our roads due to their larger wheelbase helping in a more stable drive as compared to the sub 4m SUV.
I started with Venue Base model then decided to go with Venue top model then decided to go with Grand Vitara Delta, finally booked Grand vitara Zeta MT 😊
@@youprakash3 I am thinking to go with Skoda Kushaq since the clutch is harder in taigun and steering also smooth in kushaq. Please test drive both the car and let me know your review. On road price depends on state. Ex showroom price 1159000. some insurance discount and corporate discount possible.
Your Podcasts are really good ! We bought Skoda in 2014 and now i cant think of buying other brand except Skoda/Vw, Driven other brand extensively but at the end i got addicted to VAG, do a podcast on this, ps: Met with a rollover accident in 2019 and car was totalled but i came out without a single scratch, now we have our 2nd Skoda Rapid
Our family has a Kia Sonet Diesel GT line . We are four members and have driven the vehicle 350 to 400 kms at a stretch through the ghat section also. 1.5 ltr turbo engine gives power anytime you require. Boot space is enough for 0ne week travel. Very low engine noise and fast cooling airconditioner with smooth ride quality makes the long travel very pleasing.
I like this 🤣🤣🤣 Volkswagen Skoda(Quality+ Safety) + Hyundai kia(Features) + Maruti (Mileage+ Affordable)+ Toyota(Stylish + Realistic) combined car 👍🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 super na 🤣🔥
Hi Asir bro and mw team... Once again great effort... I have a selection criteria for my choose of car, I am expecting the following 1) ABS 2) EBD 3) ESP/VSC/VSP 4) Traction control 5) Hill hold 6) Hill descent 7) Brake Assit 8) Tyre Pressure Monitor 9) Alloy Wheel and having min 16" size 10) Revesre & Possible 360 degree camera 11) min 7" infotainment 12) No sunroof 13) Adjustable Driver Sheet 14) Tilt steering 15) Electronic ORVM 16) Defogger 17) Better Instrument Cluster 18) Better Torque and Power (Normal commuting and occational long drives) 19) Naturally Aspiratated Engine (When combustion air temperature is increaed for better efficiency, material selection will result in higher cost and life is questionable?) 20) Engine Relaiblity is important 21) Millage around 10-15KMPL 22) Definately Automatic (Instead DCT, CVT, i prefer AMT) 23) Ground Clearance of min 200 mm 24) I don't have better idea about braking and shock absorber system, which will be optimum and reliable) 25) Like diesel but, i don't have confidence about emission norms demand and diesel engine which meets the requirements (I have less idea about works engine manufacturer and IC engines). In addition, amount of ethanol mixing with petrol and it's consequences with petrol engine performance!!!???) I would like to get your feed back/ consulting. Could i mail you in detai
Diesel engine don't come with naturally aspirated engine... If you are ok with diesel then Nexon top end diesel automatic will have all your preferences
Your last point happened in my life... Booke baleno topend 11.3L. when the vehicle came for delivery suddenly strikes in my mind why shouldn't i got for compact SUV at this budget.... then got kia Sonet... missing features i added in after market... i feel happy now took this decision....😌🤓👍💫
I wanted to buy a subcompact suv I decided to see the features before i buy My budget was initially 8-10L My options were Venue Sonet Magnite Kiger Punch Breeza 2022 And even tried to hatchbacks just for the budget glanza and i20 All i wanted is Good looks And premium interiot feel Good ground clearance Great boot space 60:40 split Automatic preferably CVT or higher I found kiger genuinely best in the segment with best VFM features Because top end with all the usability comes to 12.80 onroad chennai For that price you will just get mid base end or mid end in sonet ,Venue and breeza Dont want to spend 15L for a sub 4 which comes under the next segment of midsized suv And only reason I regected Magnite which has the same engine with kiger is very poor and plain interiors As kiger and magnite share the same engine and kiger has driving modes So dear friends if you are looking for value for money dont look at sunroof or button finishes Go for practicality
Maybe my experience is not relevant to a car but when I was researching on the best bike to buy and after doing test drives, i understood A KTM Duke body and Honda CB 300R engine would be an ideal choice... Best design and best driveability. I chose Honda finally for driveability and compromised on the looks... You explained the situation beautifully with the Suv situation....😂 Couldn't resist from commenting... Good job as always connecting to our wavelength...🤠
Since people are moving to city, another thing to consider is traffic and parking. That’s where sub 4m suv shines. Plus it gives more mileage than mid size suv, which reduces running cost. Ex: sonet diesel mileage is 24km/l whereas seltos petrol with same price will give only 16. Plus sonet diesel produces more power than seltos petrol. If your maximum running is with 4 or 2 people, its better to go for sub 4m.
Very good topic. Wanted to share my views in detail...writing from the perspective of buyers like me :-) I have been driving an i20 last 12-13 years and looking to upgrade, mainly for ingress and egress comfort and also since i20 is getting old with some mechanical issues. My budget allows top-end sub-4m crossover for which I can also look at the entry levels of the mid-size SUVs. However, reasons for going with sub-4m are as below 1) Considerable jump in excise duty for 4m+ vehicles (20% vs 8%) 2) I prefer not having to watch a long rear... though the difference could be just 20mm, I still feel it gives me better visibility and occupies lesser space on the road (public interest :-) 3) My need is mainly for a good driver's car for city commute. Hardly 2-3 long drives in a year with a small family. 4) I like fully loaded cars rather than going about shopping for after-market upgrades. E.g. Rear wiper is a must for me, and Alloys nearly compulsory. Sometimes additional airbags also come only with top-end variant and it's not safe to fit airbag in after-market 5) Unless we have the right expertise, time and negotiation skills, we might be paying too much or making a quality compromise, if we go for after-market fittings. Thank you.
Test drive with elders sitting in both front & rear gives better idea how much this vehicle is going to suit our need. Ingress & Egress is a tough task and I even had small stool like setup/ stone to make them to get in / get out
Sub 4 meter la venue and sonet has same 1.5 liter of engine of creta and seltos. Agreed the fact of diff engine tuning level between them. But can't accept the fact of driving enthusiasm is not there in sub 4 meter SUVs. Diesel engines has...
When we comparing the Sub4m SUV and Compact SUV, The total meter difference is like more or less 300mm only. We have to compromise some for both cars also. Sample : For 10L budget If we consider that the 4m+300mm space, we will have less features only coz we have to pay more such as insurance, tax etc If we think that the 3.99m length is sufficient for our family, you can get the following things: for city usage, for limited parking space, loaded features Dont confuse and get stressed. Personal preference and budget is playing a part and personal decision will not affect you❤ After many reviews, 1yr research, i bought kia sonet at May-22 for my wedding
You were talking about Perfect cars!. Good. I think, Toyota - Altis, Mitsubishi - Lanser & Chevrolet Cruiser are the best. (but not in midsize) Good analysis! But sedons, and these cars were not in production.
Hi Asir Bro, This video connects very well to me.. When I bought a top end tiago bs6 in July 2021, I inquired the outlet for altroz mid variant which is 1 lac more(which I could afford) than tiago top end (7.17 lacs)at that time.. I additionally asked for replacing the stock 14 inch wheels with 16 inch alloys from the company, which they can't do.. This customization I can't get with TATA which we will get from Maruti.. I ended up with Tiago, but still regret missing Altroz..
Hello bro i also planned to buy astor for size and comfort.. But What about overall mileage and 1.5 na engine refinement and noise level compare to creta 1.5 na petrol engine..?
@@aravindhanv5150 Milege is decent. I have got 10 inside city and 16 - 18 on long rides. Engine refinement is good. Sound proof is done very well. This vehicle is meant for size and comfort. Yes, There is a power lag when compared to other SUV's. But when compared to price and features, Astor is the best. And the customer service in MG is very good. Its also one of the reason why i chose Astor.
Please don't go for the basic model... If you have a specific budget please shortlist a car which offers a top end or at least a mid variant. If you buy a basic model you have to fit a lot of accessories.... Always go for the factory finish which is in mid or top variants.

Honestly, there are exceptions. Tinkering and adding aftermarket stuff and worrying about warranty being void is not an option honestly. I have chosen Sonet as it has most of the features of Seltos + the Diesel Automatic. Only if I need the extra space I need to go for Seltos. Plus the same engine on a smaller car makes more engaging drive. Since you've called Seltos "fun to drive" to an extent, that applies for Sonet D AT as well IMO. I would take at least mid option of any car, my brother regrets taking the base variant of Altroz. It's not as easy or straightforward, retrofitting aftermarket stuff on a car.
Face lift panni Dashboard and centre console la current trend ku change pana.. XUV 300 turbo is best in sub 4M SUV Segment. Good Power (130 BHP) and Good in Safety( 5 Star rating in GNCAP)..
Bro! Excellent video. Cars being overpriced in india market nu thonudhu. Konjam adha pathinah Unga opinion konjam sollunga. Every other month yen price yethitey poranga
I took Venue SX(O) Diesel for 14.5L considering Creta SX(O) in other hand which is 5L costlier. But now I feel I should ve opted Seltos Or Creta, literally missing the Power and Comfort what Creta/Seltos has in it. Venue is quite good but it lags the comfort at a long strech distance. Cabin noises are quite more in Sub 4M SUVs
Bro but Hyundai's Venue or Kia's Sonet both match 70 - 80% of their elder siblings in road presence & respect also they hve same diesel engines with 100 & 115bhps respectively ofcourse though 15hp extra power can b felt clearly but stil a base Venue diesel or Sonets drivability is close to as good as its elder bros, its an outstanding value for money n does the job inch perfect, end of the day money savings matters a lot, most buyers avoiding base models is just lack of understanding or carriered away for higher varients by dealer sales persons, Just my opinion brother hope its genuine, Thanks
Commuting improved after covid but the era of people own a vehicle for family commute started in 2016/2017 where premium hatchback came to the market with cost less than 10 lakhs. Roads and handling of these vehicles with minimal breakdowns ensuring these travel hassle free.
Hello anna 🚘, You didn't mentioned about tax rate, Can we get more clarity about that? In India both segments tax rate percentage has huge difference right?
Asir bro helped me to choose brezza 2022 vxi at on a mindblowing consulting call. Vxi is the base variant in AT. I have only one doubt .whether brezza vxi at is over priced when compared to its rival nexon imt ..
One more feed back . Vxi at 2022 Headlamps: not sufficient in night drive in dark terrain In cabin; cabin light insufficient . No boot lamp. These are essentials definitely not luxury.. higher variants hv 360° and sunroof etc. Agreed luxury features and definitely not headlamps and cabin lights
VERY USEFUL VIDEO. ONE SUGESSTION, WHILE CONDUCTING ROAD TEST OF CARS YOU ARE ADIVISING ALL TO USE SEAT BELTS ETC. KINDLY MAKE ONE VIDEO REGARDING THIS AND ALSO CONVEY THIS POINT IN THE FUTURE VIDEOS IF POSSIBLE.
Am a sales consultant myself with a small family , am with a budget of 13lakhs, am stuck with mid-top sub 4 meter or a base petrol / seltos creta where I have to still spend for music system with camera, where as kushaq is bit costly for the ever controversial 1.0 three cylinder turbo even for the base model, point is not a single car is perfect, each car is a compromise with respect to our budget and needs, even in sub 4 meter venue has features but it's not that sprited like a xuv 300, now am either buying a w4 xuv 300 diesel and upgrading it or just buy a base creta Petrol and install music system
Maruti Grand vitara Sigma Urban cruiser hyryder base Skoda kushaq active Taigun base Hyundai creta 2nd base Seltos Htk+ Is best value for money in 13-14L budget don't go for sub4mtr 👍
This type of confusion is very common. If we compare one to one with Brezza Zxi and Grand Vitara Zeta, Brezza Zxi is much value for money product than Grand Vitara. Even Grand Vitara Delta is 1.5 lakh is costlier than Brezza Zxi (on road price). Your conclusion in general , may be right. But, may not be correct for Brezza and Grand Vitara, considering the engine ,size (Brezza is taller) and features. Moreover, in general other than Brezza and Grand Vitara, important feature like Cruise control which can not be added later, is not available in lower variants of mid size SUVs. So, going for mid size SUV is a costlier affair suitable only for people traveling with family with 4 occupants. For city people who commute with single or two, sub 4 meter SUV like Brezza is enough.
PLEASE TALK OPENLY, WE KNOW YOU ARE NOT BIASED, WE VERY MUCH LIKE EXPERT PROS AND CONS FOR THESE PEOPLE FAV CARS. Rank them like with points. SUB 4 - NEXON, BREEZA, VENUE, SONET, XUV 300. MID SIZE - KOREAN TWINS, GERMAN TWINS, HYBRID TWINS, ASTOR. Your review on these will address the mass crowd and their knowledge will grow from your words.. Thank you..
TUV300/Bolero Neo is underrated. It is sub 4m but gives you more space and versatility than most mid-size SUVs, including the ability to seat 7 people.
@@motowagon Yes, I've watched this but why is this car never discussed alongside other Sub 4m SUVs and Mid-Size SUVs? Is it because it's body on frame and RWD? In my opinion, the versatility and ruggedness this car offers in this segment at this price point is unmatched by any other.
Mr. Asir, Please make a discussion on the topic of RESALE VALUE of a vehicle which is one of the main factors which disturbs much while selecting a vehicle (new/used).
How about driving comfort and body roll. 4.3m suv might tend to have more body roll. Please do a podcast for a comfortable car for Long drive / Indian roads( excluding nh) - sedan vs suv vs muv like ertiga/carens etc
After purchasing there will many criticism, ignore all criticism sometimes after hearing all... we may feel like our decision was wrong.. always think we already chosen the best car. Different people have different opinions, if we listen or taken all comments we cant live peacefully.
As a for us my thoughts car manufacturers should give customised features for cars instead giving technology features with price hike . Like 1. Car should have best engine with best comfort that's enough for me . 2. I don't want touch mode just a button system enough for me to hear music at some time while driving. 3. Damn don't heed Sun roof it's a dump feature for me . 4. AC feature i need . If manufacturers do this customisation based on customer it may reduce the cost .close to 1 to 2 lakhs i think . Because you have get team up with technology features company to provide their item to your car since it may can change by using customisation.
Asir sir... please do the reviews for luxury cars.. it will surely increase your views.. and also do quick launch in each car when u review... For example I think you know Mr. Faisal khan.. I am not demotivating you... Neenga namba ooru aallu... PERUMAIKAGA SOLLUREN😊😊
We don't get access to such venues. Brand PR's usually look into the number to subscribers to let into. Mahindra, Tata has entered us in the list. Rest of the manufacturers are yet to consider Us. Thank you for your support and concern ☺️
I have Honda wrv petrol 2019 model. It is a great car for driving and rear seating space. Only drawback I see is the mileage in city , which is 12kmpl. Can I wait for new wrv with CVT or mid suv launch from Honda? Can I choose diesel for better mileage in case of Honda? Should I not wait for Honda and look for other options that I have in mind like Toyota hyryder, seltos? Please advice
@Asir Bro , Please make a Motocast about Bs6 Diesel vehicles (Please note that iam not asking about whether we can buy diesel engines now you and velu sir already cleared that you even replied to my comment to clarify it) , iam asking about other things like what is Adblue, Current emission stages just like you spoke about EV / Batteries like they are not necessarily "Go Green" ... Thank you...

Hi Bro, Is it possible to have podcast about how we need to plan our budget for buying a new car or used car. How much down-payment and how much loan we can go for a safer planning.
Bro in Delhi lot of option available to convert lower end to higer end cars. (Example : breeza LXI to ZXI). in Tamil Nadu where we can get like that, also need genius accessories) See VENOM you tube channel video.
Hi sir Another great video 👍 My mind is totally set to choose between Mahindra XUV 300 turbo and Hyundai Venue but after seeing the video of XUV 400 now confused whether to go for electric or not 😕 I'm an army person. I travel to different places due to my work If u can help pls 👍
I took kia sonet for the imt. Test drove the imt from i20, sonet n venue n bought sonet. Felt the sun roof can be removed from the base imt variant and could have given ESP HHA as these features were not given in a 11.3 lakh car.
Whether really sub 4 meter SUVs are less cost which compared to mid size suv? Because those tax in sub 4 meter it really seems doesn't feel a budget. When we see top end of sub 4 meter sonet is 17 lakh. The same is mid size SUV seltos mid varient. What is the diff in that tax, and all works done for that 3995 mm and engines less than1.2 l and 1.5 l. Due to demand of sub 4 meter SUV car makers have made high raise in these segments than mid size suv

Sonet doesnt have a 1.5L turbo engine.
Romba days ah wait pannitu iruntha topic😍

Hi Asir bro and mw team...
Once again great effort...
I have a selection criteria for my choose of car, I am expecting the following
1) ABS
2) EBD
3) ESP/VSC/VSP
4) Traction control
5) Hill hold
6) Hill descent
7) Brake Assit
8) Tyre Pressure Monitor
9) Alloy Wheel and having min 16" size
10) Revesre & Possible 360 degree camera
11) min 7" infotainment
12) No sunroof
13) Adjustable Driver Sheet
14) Tilt steering
15) Electronic ORVM
16) Defogger
17) Better Instrument Cluster
18) Better Torque and Power (Normal commuting and occational long drives)
19) Naturally Aspiratated Engine (When combustion air temperature is increaed for better efficiency, material selection will result in higher cost and life is questionable?)
20) Engine Relaiblity is important
21) Millage around 10-15KMPL
22) Definately Automatic (Instead DCT, CVT, i prefer AMT)
23) Ground Clearance of min 200 mm
24) I don't have better idea about braking and shock absorber system, which will be optimum and reliable)
25) Like diesel but, i don't have confidence about emission norms demand and diesel engine which meets the requirements (I have less idea about works engine manufacturer and IC engines). In addition, amount of ethanol mixing with petrol and it's consequences with petrol engine performance!!!???)
I would like to get your feed back/ consulting. Could i mail you in detai
WhatsApp to 8925027009
Diesel engine don't come with naturally aspirated engine...
Good to note your neutral opinion of all cars and user friendly advise on selecting segments.. wishing the team a bright future ..
I wanted to buy a subcompact suv I decided to see the features before i buy
My budget was initially 8-10L
My options were
Venue
Sonet
Magnite
Kiger
Punch
Breeza 2022
And even tried to hatchbacks just for the budget glanza and i20
All i wanted is Good looks
And premium interiot feel
Good ground clearance
Great boot space
60:40 split
Automatic preferably CVT or higher
I found kiger genuinely best in the segment with best VFM features
Because top end with all the usability comes to 12.80 onroad chennai
For that price you will just get mid base end or mid end in sonet ,Venue and breeza
Dont want to spend 15L for a sub 4 which comes under the next segment of midsized suv
And only reason I regected Magnite which has the same engine with kiger is very poor and plain interiors
As kiger and magnite share the same engine and kiger has driving modes
So dear friends if you are looking for value for money dont look at sunroof or button finishes
Go for practicality
Good point.. Thanksji 👌
Thanks for sharing! 💚
நம்ம நாட்டில் ரோடுங்க எல்லாம் pothole இல்லாம சரி செய்து , speed breaker எல்லாம் இல்லாம செய்தா, SUV ககு தேவை குறஞ்சிடும்.
Wanted to share my views in detail...writing from the perspective of buyers like me :-)
I have been driving an i20 last 12-13 years and looking to upgrade, mainly for ingress and egress comfort and also since i20 is getting old with some mechanical issues.
My budget allows top-end sub-4m crossover for which I can also look at the entry levels of the mid-size SUVs.
However, reasons for going with sub-4m are as below
1) Considerable jump in excise duty for 4m+ vehicles (20% vs 8%)
2) I prefer not having to watch a long rear... though the difference could be just 20mm, I still feel it gives me better visibility and occupies lesser space on the road (public interest :-)
3) My need is mainly for a good driver's car for city commute. Hardly 2-3 long drives in a year with a small family.
4) I like fully loaded cars rather than going about shopping for after-market upgrades. E.g. Rear wiper is a must for me, and Alloys nearly compulsory. Sometimes additional airbags also come only with top-end variant and it's not safe to fit airbag in after-market
5) Unless we have the right expertise, time and negotiation skills, we might be paying too much or making a quality compromise, if we go for after-market fittings.
Thank you.
That's a great write up and analysis
@MotoWagon Thank you team. Wishing you all a Merry Christmas 🤶 🎄
Very well written....
thank you very much..
So what car did you bought??? 😀
Test drive with elders sitting in both front & rear gives better idea how much this vehicle is going to suit our need. Ingress & Egress is a tough task and I even had small stool like setup/ stone to make them to get in / get out
I bought Creta E base model diesel option and it’s performance is amazing, happy that I didn’t go for sub 4 suv
Sir, did you add any extra features separately? I think,in base variant, there is no audio system
Fiesta nale classic fiesta thaan....Got a chance to drive in 2011 until now no other cars feels like that..... Nostalgia
Such a great car with a balance of handling and comfort
Sub 4 meter la venue and sonet has same 1.5 liter of engine of creta and seltos. Agreed the fact of diff engine tuning level between them. But can't accept the fact of driving enthusiasm is not there in sub 4 meter SUVs. Diesel engines has...
As usual liked for the detailed analysis👍 and as for me discussion about sunroof again reminded a liability 😃
Hat's off...
When we comparing the Sub4m SUV and Compact SUV, The total meter difference is like more or less 300mm only.
We have to compromise some for both cars also.
Sample : For 10L budget
If we consider that the 4m+300mm space, we will have less features only coz we have to pay more such as insurance, tax etc
If we think that the 3.99m length is sufficient for our family, you can get the following things:
for city usage, for limited parking space, loaded features
Dont confuse and get stressed.
Personal preference and budget is playing a part and personal decision will not affect you❤
After many reviews, 1yr research, i bought kia sonet at May-22 for my wedding
Great content like always 🔥 Thank you Motowagon
Welcome
Apo than Base variants of Mid size SUV's make sense nu purinjuchu.
Pls don’t go for Vitara as it got sluggish engine
You were talking about Perfect cars!. Good. I think, Toyota - Altis, Mitsubishi - Lanser & Chevrolet Cruiser are the best. (but not in midsize) Good analysis! But sedons, and these cars were not in production.
Very beautiful comments
People needs more Safety and quality than features 👍
Hi Asir Bro, This video connects very well to me.. When I bought a top end tiago bs6 in July 2021, I inquired the outlet for altroz mid variant which is 1 lac more(which I could afford) than tiago top end (7.17 lacs)at that time.. I additionally asked for replacing the stock 14 inch wheels with 16 inch alloys from the company, which they can't do.. This customization I can't get with TATA which we will get from Maruti.. I ended up with Tiago, but still regret missing Altroz..
You are right sir, i was planning to Buy Venue. But ended up buying Astor 1.5 NA engine. For better size and comfort. Decent power and performance👍
Last minute is my first car story.. I'm planning to buy Swift vxi variant but instead increased by budget by 1 lakh brought kia sonet base model...
Please don't go for the basic model... If you have a specific budget please shortlist a car which offers a top end or at least a mid variant. If you buy a basic model you have to fit a lot of accessories.... Always go for the factory finish which is in mid or top variants.
Nice decision

I like this conten I am just shared my thoughts after watching this
Honestly, there are exceptions.
I was looking for a perfect car for about 2 years now I know why I couldn’t find it :) . Thank You.
Nice video… For Driving enthusiast why can’t we consider XUV300 as it has 1497 CC Diesel Turbo engine and it has highest Tarqe of 300nm
Take a test drive bro.. AC sound is completely annoying and music system very worst. Also don't have rear AC vents. No boot space
Eagerly waiting for this podcast ❤️
Face lift panni Dashboard and centre console la current trend ku change pana.. XUV 300 turbo is best in sub 4M SUV Segment. Good Power (130 BHP) and Good in Safety( 5 Star rating in GNCAP)..

Merry Christmas 🎅
You deserve more than 1m subscribers bro .every content good and clear .
Do damping for 8k cabin noise will be arrested. Even dealership will do it.
அது ஒரு சாம்பார் ஆயீறும்.

Though they are similar in majority , the platforms, suspension etc are completely different
Commuting improved after covid but the era of people own a vehicle for family commute started in 2016/2017 where premium hatchback came to the market with cost less than 10 lakhs. Roads and handling of these vehicles with minimal breakdowns ensuring these travel hassle free.
Skoda Kushaq Active Peace variant at Rs.9.99L ex. showroom was an irresistible offer.
Still available? Isn't it a limited-time offer?
If this varient is available now then it will give tough competition 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Hello anna 🚘, You didn't mentioned about tax rate, Can we get more clarity about that? In India both segments tax rate percentage has huge difference right?
Sub4m SUV kum , Mid-Size SUV kum TAX different irukka na.

Yes. That's why the Sub4m segment exist in India
Asir bro helped me to choose brezza 2022 vxi at on a mindblowing consulting call. Vxi is the base variant in AT. I have only one doubt .whether brezza vxi at is over priced when compared to its rival nexon imt ..
Great to get a feedback sir. Yes it's a bit over priced due to the bigger engine and Torque converter AT
One more feed back . Vxi at 2022
Headlamps: not sufficient in night drive in dark terrain
In cabin; cabin light insufficient .
MOST OF THE VEHICLE USERS NOWADAYS NOT USING INDICATORS AND MAKING OTHER VEHICLE USERS IN TENDOR HOOK . KINDLY MAKE ONE VIDEO REGARDING THIS AND ALSO CONVEY THIS POINT IN THE FUTURE VIDEOS IF POSSIBLE.
Sure. Will do a dedicated video on Indicators
Hyundai Creta - King of Mid Size SUV 💯
good initiative and you touched upon the intense choice between when decided to go in for
Am a sales consultant myself with a small family , am with a budget of 13lakhs, am stuck with mid-top sub 4 meter or a base petrol / seltos creta where I have to still spend for music system with camera, where as kushaq is bit costly for the ever controversial 1.0 three cylinder turbo even for the base model, point is not a single car is perfect, each car is a compromise with respect to our budget and needs, even in sub 4 meter venue has features but it's not that sprited like a xuv 300, now am either buying a w4 xuv 300 diesel and upgrading it or just buy a base creta Petrol and install music system
Maruti Grand vitara Sigma
Urban cruiser hyryder base
Skoda kushaq active
Taigun base
Hyundai creta 2nd base
Seltos Htk+
Is best value for money in 13-14L budget don't go for sub4mtr 👍
Honda city 4th gen is always d best in petrol sedan....
Good video.. whereas we have to compromise on luxury cars also. No perfect luxury car.

It is sub 4m but gives you more space and versatility than most mid-size SUVs, including the ability to seat 7 people.
ruclips.net/video/2AUQSH50YlU/видео.html
@@motowagon Yes, I've watched this but why is this car never discussed alongside other Sub 4m SUVs and Mid-Size SUVs? Is it because it's body on frame and RWD? In my opinion, the versatility and ruggedness this car offers in this segment at this price point is unmatched by any other.
When can we expect Motowagon merchandise. I guess this will grow into something like TeamBHP.
Very soon ☺️
Mr. Asir,
Please make a discussion on the topic of RESALE VALUE of a vehicle which is one of the main factors which disturbs much while selecting a vehicle (new/used).
How about driving comfort and body roll. 4.3m suv might tend to have more body roll. Please do a podcast for a comfortable car for Long drive / Indian roads( excluding nh) - sedan vs suv vs muv like ertiga/carens etc
Podcast naale jolly iniki topic super❤
After purchasing there will many criticism, ignore all criticism sometimes after hearing all... we may feel like our decision was wrong.. always think we already chosen the best car. Different people have different opinions, if we listen or taken all comments we cant live peacefully.
Yes sir. It applies for all the decisions.
17:11 super super super apdi oru car vandha super
As a for us my thoughts car manufacturers should give customised features for cars instead giving technology features with price hike . Like

Please explain about active cylinder technology in Taigun. If possible test drive it and report abt its mileage.
As usual,, very informative... 🎶❤️💯👍

Will do Brother
Hi buddy, As we used for long travel like other city, start trip Sendan will good for leg room, boot and confirm. They why still ppl going for SUVs.
Ground clearance as roads are bad....and high seating....looks
Also Upright seating Position of these crossovers will be best for people with lower back pain
Okay got it
hi, is it worth buying an EcoSport SUV? or suggest equal to that... thanks
Bro in Delhi lot of option available to convert lower end to higer end cars. (Example : breeza LXI to ZXI).
in Tamil Nadu where we can get like that, also need genius accessories)

Sub 4 metre suv better than mid size suv. Because it's budget suv with same engine like 1.5CRDi in hyundai
I took kia sonet for the imt. Test drove the imt from i20, sonet n venue n bought sonet. Felt the sun roof can be removed from the base imt variant and could have given ESP HHA as these features were not given in a 11.3 lakh car.
When did you buy Sonet IMT? ESP and HHA were made available in all Sonet IMT including HTK+ IMT variants since May 2022.
@@vigneshsunder1982 yep. I purchased the 2021 model. It has 2 air bags and came without ESP HHA
