Taking over the world from the Celestia's gods is what the Abyss order hope to achieve.
But their more imediate goal seem to be to break the curse, even if it mean dying in the process. THIS is something Dainsleif don't seem to understand yet.

With 500 years of plotting and planning, there must be at least one ultimate plan that guaranteed 100% of succession. But of course there will be a huge cost for that

My interpretation of such is that the curse is not part of the genetics but more on the genetics. Like an invisible force constantly haunting the genetics. This alone means that it was less likely to be something that was placed on a specific group(which can be confusing depending on how it's interpreted) and more something that would have happened to seal their fates. In many instances if they could reverse the curse(which isn't completely necessary) it would likely only include those there. Meaning it wouldn't be effective at removing it's entirety. If there is such a thing, we likely wouldn't experience this until the journey ends.
I am curious though I know well the curse itself has the capability to reject its own nature. One could live with said curse without the help of research. While rare it would actually be less beneficial to remove the curse.
Edit: Oh quickly to add to this, the curse bares similarities to the curse of the wilderness In the Bible in which a king lost his mind and became animalistic much like rabies.
The important thing to note is we have recorded history of many falling to such but how many are recorded to survive and gain power.

About retribution - that is exactly the reason why Abyss must engulf the thrones, and take away authority from the fake gods.
Although having somebody else, like the Traveler, take the ultimate Authority from Celestia is also an option.
Still, just winning the war is not enough. Research into undoing the curse needs to be done, or the victory will be hollow.
About curses and destiny, we've seen that they are worthless superstition in Fontaine. At most, they are metaphors for the real things. To uncurse people of Kaenri'ah, we need research into their condition, and possibly the right authority to fix it. Start with the mysterious flower of Inteyvat, which demonstrates that laws of physics in Kaenri'ah and in the lands of Archons are different.
But to be honest, I don't think we need to lift the curse. What we need, is to fix the laws of physics in the lands of the Archons. Once the erosion that plagues survivors of Kaenri'ah and other long-lived beings is gone, immortality is no longer a curse, and hilichurls will be able to develop a proper civilization. Maybe even live side by side with humans like Melusines do.
My recommended solution is to fix Irminsul. It has clearly sustained great damage over the ages, and can't hold memories as well as it used to. Perhaps injections of Durin's blood into damaged locations would work. But we better consult Rhinedottir the Gold in case she managed to make something even better.

It better be, I want some intense drama!
Is it confirmed that the last piece from the Abyss Orders plan is the Eye if the Field Tiller? To make a mechanized god to overthrow the celestia? Is it the last, I forgot.
But if it is the last piece, all they need to do is beat Dainsleif out for the Eye. I wonder where Dainsleif hid it?
So yeah, I dont think the Abyss plan will fail

What a lot of these comments are missing is that the Khaenriaians arent innocent. Sure this is cruel punishment. However they also experimented with things they shouldn't have. I think that while the punishment is cruel and unforgivable. You dont just get that level of punishment for no reason.

But their children are innocent like Caribert.
Besides Celestia, Fatui and the Abyss order are all far from "Innocent"

I for one am ready to throw hands at Celestia over what it did to the Khaenriahns. When a painful death is seen as preferable to what was inflicted upon them, that is an unforgivably cruel punishment. Especially when the indications are it was applied with no concern for who was innocent or not.

    • @amouramarie
      @amouramarie 3 месяца назад +1

Same - if the "curse" is something actually deliberately inflicted, it's not forgivable. Better to have just killed all the innocents of Khaenri'ah than force them to go through that. I'm still not sure, though, that the curse isn't an unintended or unforeseen side-effect, something that happens accidentally. But even in that case, why wouldn't Celestia step in and put the victims of the curse out of their misery? It seems like unnecessary cruelty, like the Sinner reduced to an immovable chained up crystal, or Egeria left alone in a prison under the ocean for centuries as punishment.
