    Is there a way to get a 808 sample/one shot into the piano roll so I can change the notes of the 808 instead of just having that one preset note? The 808 midi instruments aren’t very good imo

  • @ZonedOutWaves

    i pray BL updates with much needed functions, and more preset sounds. Unfortunately BL drum and bass sounds are just not it. the 808s are fine to an extent, but the kicks and drums is just so cheap. But, i think ima invest the 250 for FL studio. BL was great to learn as an easy beginner free daw best in the market if you ask me. But, ive gotten so much better, and its the drums and kicks that are killing it for me now. When you working with real producers and artist they can hear it on start.. so can i but theres always that thought of thinking you can get away with them not realizing but even the artist does.. at this point i have to invest into something more. Will continue to use BL for other genres other than Hip hop/Trap.

      Don't forget you have a built in sampler and sample library with tens of thousands of sounds and hundreds of new sounds are released EVERY DAY! Use the built in sampler and you can create ANY sound instrument you like and build your own custom kits! A quick search for Drum & Bass you'll get all these exclusive sounds, including exclusive packs by DnB artists like Kove and more!

      Not a single DAW will fix your 808, it's we, the music makers, producers, artists,etc.... that make great 808s. Add eq, compression, distortion, saturation etc, in other words. Tweak the 808 towards your liking.

    • @nepuhz2329
      @nepuhz2329 Год назад +1

      @@8Finious no i dont think u understand its virtually impossible to do 808 glides in bandlab unless u use the sampler which is so stupid, have u ever used bandlab?

    • @8Finious
      @8Finious Год назад

      @@nepuhz2329 I did, but not for main projects. You mean bandlab needs an option to tweak, pitch, glide,.... the 808s sample but more user friendly. I was thinking not a single DAW could fix your 808s. 😅 In that case, you're right. 🙂

    • @thebigsosaa
      @thebigsosaa Год назад

      @@nepuhz2329 agreed, but you can just import in 808 samples and use a pitch key but they should definitely add slides and a more precise grid size.
