TK, those ducks were Common Eiders, the male is the white one and the hen is the drab brown one. Buffleheads are much smaller, and have just a white patch on the head.
TK - according to the TIMEANDDATE website, the earliest time of sunset of the year was a few days ago, so the afternoons will be getting longer from here on out. At the same time, the time of sunRISE is also still getting later until early January when it turns around. The solstice appears to be Dec 21 with the shortest hours of daylight overall.
So I just buy the Tempest weather station and it is a web link for data integration? Would love to get you some data from SE NH. Big follower from NECN long ago. Okemo was great last weekend
