As a ECW fan (saw it first in 1998) I didn’t think Sabu would even be alive at this point with his ring style. Sabu was an innovator in the ring. High flying but everything made sense.
When Sabu did his aerial maneuvers , it didn’t look like the obviously choreographed action in today’s rings . It looked like he was recklessly throwing himself at an opponent in an effort to destroy! No one since has captured that same spirit of mayhem and danger ….!
Yes yes!! That’s absolutely true. You’re the first person that I heard say that. That’s exactly what he was doing. Throwing his body to destroy his opponents and if it means he gets hurts in the process so be it. Anything to win. That’s why it looked like what a real fight would look like if an individual dove on to you. It wouldn’t look so choreographed in reality in a real fight. Sabu’s the best! I don’t think sabu likes to choreograph his matches.
@@italianplastic23Jeff hardy is a wwe rip off of sabu. Let’s see if Jeff would continuously dive off a ladder if he didn’t know his opponent would lay there for hi and if those tables wasn’t already pre cut. Sabu was doing it before they had precut tables. Sometimes the table just bent instead of breaking. Sabu’s the real one!
Tiger Mask 1 was the only Junior up until the late 2000s that was consistently booked in the upper card in New Japan. you should have asked SABU about Kanemoto. i'm sure he would have some stories about how he was tested by him. unnecessarily so

i know Sabu is an innovator and is more hardcore.
I'm just saying Jeff is also more 'car crash' than choreography
Sabu sounds like a pretty cool guy.
Yeah he's the coolest. Super down to earth, and surprisingly funny.
Jushin Liger is my favorite lightweight guy.....cool that Sabu gave him props.

Quite the “sugar booger”, Sabs.
Always check your 👃 when you're doing powder 😅😅

Definitely would love hanging and smoking with Sabu. That would be an awesome time!
He should book appearances in states with legal cannabis and do meet and greet smoke sessions
@@higler. That would be an awesome idea! I know a few here in WA that would do it in a heartbeat!
