Wow really enjoyed the detail of this video. Looking at a restore of my decking and plastic on my 02 TV18. Mine sat out in the elements for 3 years prior to purchase so our carpet is in similar condition. Hoping to reuse the wood like you did but not holding my breath. You guys have this thing looking SHARP!!! Well done.
Thanks. When looking at carpet do not overlook vinyl. I looked at a brand new tracker boat the other day and they had done a portion of the boat in a vinyl application. I really liked it.
Great video. I redid my bass tracker pro 17 and I sure had trouble getting the carpet to stick to the aluminum. I had it really clean…not sure what kind of residue there was on there, but glue or contact cement would not handle it. I’ll let it marinate a few more years and then i will put down marine vinyl flooring
Great content. That rivit gun is about as old as the dude in the video. 😂😂😂. It worked though so i guess that's all that matters lol. Anyways keep up the great content. And much love to yall from Maryland❤❤❤
Love the video, great job you guys! Can you step on that center console deal you bought? I would like to get one of those for my boat, but not sure it would stand up to 300 plus stepping on it! Great price as well!
Thanks for watching... The center console is made of some type of heavy plastic material. I weighed around 250 at the time I filmed the video and I have walked all over it without problem. The website bassboatseats.com doesnt mention anything about standing on it so Im not sure exactly how much it will hold but I do know at least 250. Good thing about it the website says it comes with a lifetime guarantee. Its a perfect place to put keys, wallet, boat plugs etc.. fast to get to
Use a notched spreader on the surface you are gluing the carpet to. The back of the can of adhesive will tell you what size notches should be used. Use a large trowel and about a 2-3 inch size for the small areas. Cut miters with utility knife for corners.
Shame on previous owner .but my 06 is like in a 7 1/2 out of ten as far as clean and condition .but watching this makes me feel like i can get it done when the time comes to "freshin up" the boat
There is no other person to build a boat with but your dad. Just love the memories, and the time you two spent together.
I am very fortunate to have my dad to help me with projects like this one, fishing and advise. I appreciate every moment I spend with him and my mom.
The most complete documentation of a Tracker restoration. I'm preparing to strip mine as well. Great job!
That was the best boat upgrade I've watched, nice job

Great job, I have the same boat (2007) , did you replace the carpet in the cockpit area?
No it was still in good shape. If it ever goes bad I kept the remaining carpet to do it then
Hi i am looking to bay same boat what is thickness floor ,also what wide bottom floor thanks.

Thanks for the info..
For the acid, you have to spray and use a scrub brush to eliminate streaks and it is like new.
Thanks for the info

Boats looks like a 12k dollar boat once again
What did it cost to rebuild the carburetors
Its at the end of the video but to rebuild carbs and run new gas lines was I think $700
