This message right here in fact the message that’s given in the movie should be taken into consideration by all hiring managers in corporate America today, all in all you need soft skills and determination and HARD WORK to succeed.
When I first started out in tech more than a decade ago, working at Google or Facebook was considered the crowning achievement of your career. Now, product teams are increasingly disparate, afraid to innovate, and siloed out of fear of being evaluated as redundant. It's sad, but the only way for new and innovative companies to rise up is for old, ineffective companies to wither away. But this is good reminder of the way it used to be.
Interesting they chose to close the film with “hell of a summer” with the wine. In Wedding Crashers, they say “hell of a season”, also with a bottle of wine.
The guy sitting down in the red shirt was an asshole. He deserved get the middle finger&no internship. His team didnt like him. But Vince throughout the movie was kinda sad. His ways were old&obsolete. But at the end Vince, friend&team got the last laugh.
Fr. The guy in the red was a bully and a complete show off & thinks he was better than everyone. Definitely not the type of characteristic traits you would see in a real leader. Vince & Owen’s team actually motivated each other and won in the end.
And in 2023 they were all laid off
and then, they were all fired.
Someone's single

it was based off a true story and he was the one they loosely based it off. So yeah, he’s fired now.

I try and recruit by the phrase - Recruit Attitude and Aptitude, teach skill!
Its easier to teach skills then change someone's attitude
Thank you for posting this!!

"Bustin' out the Pappy on me" refers to Pappy Van Winkle bourbon. Looks to be the 10 year which is about $1,000 a bottle.
“I’m not gonna have a beer with you”
