I'd like to thank my knowledge of Broadway musicals for the answer to tonight's clue
SIX!
Unfortunately my knowledge of Herman's Hermits was not as helpful as I hoped it would be
I love it when I get the answer right and the contestants don't.
Me too. It was easy
@@fable9159 What has age to do with that. You think older people know it because they already lived during those times :D
As a Tudor history nerd for nearly 40 years, this one was dead easy.
Not for me! I have purposely tried to avoid learning about British monarchy. Bitter?
It was Katherine with a K!
@@bostonblackie9503 No, Catherine Parr. It was just to vague of an answer since Henry VIII was also married to Catherine Howard. (Queen Victoria edict).
Wouldn't have necessarily been Catherine Parr...Anna of Cleves also outlived Henricus Rex!
Anne lived long enough to see Mary become queen. Elizabeth also lived with Catherine while in her minority.
Truly enjoying Ken as a host. He should be announced as the permanent host already 😁
Your mom was just announced as Ken's permanent "host".
@@sarameistervictorross2244 It's hilarious how much folks like you love to throw out the word "snowflake" when you're absolutely unquestionably the biggest whiners that ever whined a whine. I know it sounds clever to you when Tucker says it; but if you could put that "help, help I'm being repressed" nonsense aside for a few minutes and take a hard look at how you come across to other people, you might come to understand why no one ever wants to have sex with you.
I knew it was Parr or Howard, but couldn't for the life of me remember which one it was. Fun fact 83% of Henry's VIII's wives share a name with another of his wives.
I had no idea for this clue!
I definitely got this one thanks to Six (fantastic musical)! “I’m a survivor, Catherine Parr!”
I bet you wanna know how I got this far!
My honors world history class isn’t the reason I got this one right, my obsession with broadway musicals is.
I knew it was was someone named Catherine! 😭 If only I continued my Elizabethan obsession! 😞
I knew it was Catherine Parr pretty quick! 👍
I got it. I just read a biography of Catherine Parr. To quote LeVar, Reading is Fundamental! (Bear with me. I’m a children’s librarian. It’s my job to promote reading!)
My guess for this Final Jeopardy Clue would have been 1 of the following 3.
1: Catherine Parr
2: Catherine Howard
3: Catherine Of Aragon
So many Catherines in that time period and I got it last minute!
Sure you did.
The last few final jeopardy questions have been pretty easy
Easy if you know Tudor history.
They did poor Catherine dirty. She was a writer. She wrote book and Psalms and meditations. She fought for female education so my women could independently study scripture. She even got a women to paint her picture.
She had a tough life, with four not so great marriages. Her last husband was likely the Jeffrey Epstein of the Tudor era.
Make. Ken. The. Permanent. HOST
👎
Yeah for me, I got it right!
What is the subscribe button 🤣
Dang, I got the wrong Kate! :p
Anne of Cleves also outlived Henry VIII. The only way to rule her out is to know the details of everyone's ages and Elizabeth's childhood.
The clue is "stepmother."
@@cisium1184 No, the real clue is “devoted to this stepmother.” Elizabeth was devoted to Kathryn/Catherine Parr, not Anne of Cleves, whom her father, after divorcing, referred to as his “sister.”
@@cisium1184 all of his wives except for Aragon and Boleyn were stepmothers to Elizabeth I
Congrats to Michael Davies on executive producer permanent role. We all know who should be next.
Ken!!
Mayim!
By the way, don’t speak for me. I have my own voice.
@@susansmith4112 And it's a tiresome voice from the tone of it.
Cisium Susan is a nice woman, who happens to be strongly team Mayim. But, if you respect her, she’ll respect you. She is entitled to support Mayim, just as we support Ken.
The last few days have been proof positive that Ken is running circles around Mayim for this job. The polarizing response to her hosting, in addition to her self-professed disinterest in trivia and unfamiliarity with the show, should be disqualifying and speaks volumes about the competence, or lack thereof, of the executives.
Ponderous Troll above me ! 😕
Report The Joker For Spam
Just Say No ! 👎 To The Joker 🃏
I am sure Jeopardy! producers have the ratings numbers to see who is the "better" host and that's all that really matters.
Hey Joker you mean the fake poll on TVInsider where Kens fanboys voted 50 times for him? Ken has been busy with his PR people. Hmmmm. I wonder who on You Tube is on his PR team?
Today, between the work of the writers at The Week and Claire McNear of The Ringer, Mayim Bialik and/or her PR people were caught creating a manufactured controversy about an outfit she used twice on TV in order to set up a false narrative that she is being unfairly criticized on sexist grounds. Her comments also implied that she was shaming a longtime self-proclaimed “Jeopardy fashion connoisseur” simply for running a fun and popular twitter account. Mayim’s actions are shameful and a disgrace to women who tirelessly go out of their way to fight for equality.
Troll Alert ⚠️ 📢
Vox is an embarrassing person to post such a pathetic 🙄 comment 👎
I read this as well. As somebody who tries to refrain from criticizing her, I am so disappointed in Mayim.
@@adamfanforever2003 A check of your avatar & then history reveals that you do nothing but act like what you are , an embarrassing fanboy for Ken. Grow up ..
Mayim has been making the rounds of daytime talk shows. I saw her on two this week. Both times very picky criticisms on social media were brought up. She then laughed like a hyena, and belittled people who criticized her. She made herself out to be the victim of unfair nitpicking. Of course, the hosts and audience were not familiar with legit criticism of her performance as host, and totally bought it. But, she overplayed her hand by pulling this PR stunt in exactly the same way just days apart. The PR ploy was so obvious.
Before I saw this, I thought she was a nice woman who happened to be bad at hosting. Now I see her as a calculating self-promoter. I have zero respect for her.
Why did they guess Jane? She married Henry just days after Anne's execution and died not long after. Elizabeth was a toddler! I was torn between Howard and Parr, but remembered Elizabeth lived with Parr after her father's death, so it would work with her age. Didn't even notice the "orphan" clue.
Yes, I had the exact same thought process.
This was a tough question if only because she had 4 stepmothers.
Well the one guy did answer Catherine but I guess he couldn't think of her last name.
Henry VIII shooting three under Parr
@@davidmehnert6206 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
This one was actually very easy
Well done Mattae
I am surprised that all three contestants answered incorrectly. ❤️
Woo hoo I got it.
That was almost too easy
Ok, so the clue doesn’t have to mention Elizabeth’s last name, but the answer does??!?? Weird
.... Catherine of Aragon, Catherine Howard. And Catherine Parr. All wives of Elizabeth I's father, Henry VIII. Of course they needed the last name. To distinguish between 50%of Henry's wives.
There were three Catherines to distinguish between.
But also, Elizabeth I didn't have a last name. The royal family didn't have a surname at that time.
@@FishTanksAreCatTVs Sure she was a Tudor.
@@linshanhsiang She was from the House of Tudor, but it wasn't a surname. They weren't "Henry Tudor" and "Elizabeth Tudor".
Couldn't remember her last name. Not sure I ever knew it all that well anyway.
If Mattea wins tomorrow and Monday, then we’ll have four ultrachampions in the same season… !!!
My reply to you was blocked 🚫 🙂
@@victorrossjr7157 has anyone ever told you lying isn’t a good habit to get into?
That Katherine one, the 8th one
I do know Henry had six wife's & I know the actress Jane Seymour.

Catherine Parr, the 6th wife?
I am sorry to say , I didn't know 😔
