    Great work posting these videos. Really helpful. You should do one on laundry and pods vs strips. It’s one of the most widely discussed topic on some Purdue parent groups 😂

    I love your video! How much more would you say the workload is compared to high school overall.

    • @simplyNimal
      @simplyNimal  4 года назад +1

      Definitely a lot more than high school but time management is key. If you can do that, then there’s nothing to worry about other than keeping with classes.

      Thank you very much! Would you happen to know anything about the acoustical engineering program there?

    • @simplyNimal
      @simplyNimal  4 года назад

      I don’t know too much about it other than it’s a speciality engineering program that’s pretty diverse in disciplines. Here’s there webpage: engineering.purdue.edu/ENE/Academics/Undergrad/MDE/PlansofStudy/acoustical-engineering

    Do people who take physics C and do well on the test typically still take mech and e & m at university?

    • @simplyNimal
      @simplyNimal  3 года назад +2

      Most people that get a 5 typically use the credit and don’t take the physics courses

    After the first year, how do engineering students know they will get into one of the 17 engineering programs they want? Thanks for the real deal day in the life.

    • @simplyNimal
      @simplyNimal  3 года назад

      Purdue will host information sessions about the 17 engineering programs, which will inform pretty much every FYE student in the first semester. Most first year students know what engineering discipline they want to do, so the transition is seamless for them. For those that are not sure, these programs do a great job of showing the plan of study and the nature of the programs. As for getting into them, it varies. Some schools like AAE and mechanical engineering have strict GPA cutoffs whereas ECE takes anyone who applies. That being said, almost everyone I know gets into their respective major after first year.

    I would suggest increasing the weights there, and looking up some videos on proper lifting technique.
    The very fact that you work out is good on it's own, but if you want to get better then that's definitely where you should start.
