I actually like the highlighting of useable objects. There are so many times where, especially on the early computers, you literally had just a couple pixels to find for the interactable you needed, and that sucked a lot of fun out of it for me. This one definitely looks better than the first special edition, and you'll find that the music in the original version was a lot more present and dynamic. It was a big jump forward in audio technology that the music would basically shift dynamically based on where you were and what you were doing.
Just finished your escape from monkey island play through, really looking forward to watching this as never got around to playing the special edition of this game
I remember growing up Secret of Monkey Island was quite hard but with my brother's help i managed to complete it...but LeChuck's Revenge...this one took FOREVER to beat. it's implied MI 2 is set a good year or two after MI 1...guybrush has grown a little but also become rather arrogant.

It’s been a while but I thought the first game had the wheel and you somehow missed it but I guess they added it here. I never knew about the highlighting thing which is at least optional if you don’t wanna use it. Looking forward to seeing what you thought of this game.
