hi. i was formerly known as chiefdancingostriche, now the channel name is NBCWASWRONGTOCANCELQUANTUMLEAP. i am a transwoman and i go by the name janis.
Hello! my name is Jaqueline and I am new here, YT recommended your video and I loved the content and aesthetic of your channel so I subscribed 🥰 I create content about books but in Portuguese.
It’s so nice to hear how you’ve been! I started following you around 2014 and I always loved that your book rec was quite different from other booktubers, that yours had this ‘publishing industry insider peek’ feel that many other booktubers couldn’t provide. While I noticed that you posted on YT less and less, I honestly didn’t think it was something negative because I took it as a sign that your life was moving on from a certain phase to another and that you were exploring different mode of existence. I see many RUclipsrs I follow do that once they reach mid-late twenties and I find it beautiful when people are aware and can accept that they are changing and that life needs to be rearranged accordingly.
It is great to see your face in my subscription box again! Books on the Hill is my favourite ‘local’ independent bookshop as St Albans is just down the way from me! Looking forward to seeing your content for the rest of the year! 🌼🌿🌸
I've been following your channel for ages, and I've always loved your content, be it about reading, crafting, traveling or just little life updates. I really like how you take your time to produce videos, they're really soothing and inspiring. I don't use social media anymore so I'm happy to know you have a few videos coming up in the following months! :D
So happy to see you're back on RUclips! I've been watching since probably 2010 and its crazy to think about how much time has passed since then. Super excited to see what you've been up to!
I also currently live in Hertfordshire, and if you're looking for nice walks in the countryside I will recommend the Lea Valley walk which runs all the way down into East London. The part that runs along the canal and the railway from Hertford to Cheshunt is quite pretty. Not many bookshops on the way, but there is The Book Nook in Ware, which is very cute!
Hi Sanne 👋🏼 good to see you’re back and I’m excited to see what you do next - I’m loving the peeks at your creative escapades. I’ve followed you and many other booktubers for so long (an actual decade) and finally started my own channel this year ☺️ I do a lot of journalling, reading and travel.
Oh my gosh, Stitch & Bitch! It's been forever since I thought about that era! I've got about a decade on you, so I reckon I was around 27 or 28 when I first started to knit (everyone on my LJ friends list was learning and I had massive FOMO, ha!) but here it is 20 some years later and I am still knitting, and I think that's the only craft hobby I have ever stuck with!
Hello again!! You were the first ever booktuber I watched (way back in 2010) and it's been wonderful to follow you and your journey on the various different sites. Great to see you back on RUclips, and very much looking forward to your videos. (PS I (re)started knitting this year (last knit when I was 8 or 9, and I'm now 32), and your insta post on your new needles was definitely a driving force in me ordering my first knitting kit. I'm now deeply in love with the craft, so thank you!)
@@booksandquills I went for Knit Pro interchangeable as they were cheaper, and just bought what I needed for now. I've made a promise to myself that if I'm still knitting in 6 months I'll treat myself to the Chiaogoo ones :D
I have to say, one of my favourite video series of yours to go back to is your What's in my Bag series. I know it's become a thing again (sorta), but I always liked yours because they were short, sweet, and realistic. It's comfort content. Been here since like 2011/2012 when I was 16-17, and now I'm rounding the corner on 30 years old!
Aww they were always lovely and relaxed videos! Thanks for sticking around 😅 It's kind of nice seeing everyone grow up together and see people's interests transform, but also notice what stuff will always be of interest!
eee so happy to discover your channel, I’m also a creative & bookworm living abroad (but in Australia) it’s always so fun to find a fellow bookish knitter and creative 🧶 absolutely love your vibes!☀️
So nostalgic and relatable what you're saying about creativity! I followed your channel for yearsss. Your enthousiasm has always been contageous, I studied English Language & Culture at the RUG for 1.5 years and I must admit that you were one of the positive reasons why. Eventually I changed studies like 4 times and graduated from Media Studies but studying English is one of my fondest uni memories. Looking forward to the content you post 😊
So happy to see you back! You were one of the first RUclipsrs I ever really watched and I've loved watching you grow and do new and interesting things on this platform!
Oh hello there! Wow. It's been a minute since I've seen this channel. So glad the algorithm brought me back here! That's been happening a lot lately - it seems many creators I followed when I was in high school/college are now reinventing or restarting their online presence - generally leaning more toward relaxed content. And I'm absolutely here for it. Now to go and watch all your backlog that I've missed out on!
❤ You didn’t ask for recommendations… but if you’re looking for new knitting/sewing content I really think you’d love Kacie of YoungfolkKnits and Laura Penrose! Kacie does lots of sit down videos similar to Creabea’s and features a lot of sewing. Laura often makes beautiful calming vlogs of life and making that remind me of some of the illustrators you watch! 🥰
It’s so great to see a video from you! I’ve been following your channel since the early days and can’t wait to see your upcoming projects. As an American who would love to visit the UK in general and also the Jane Austen festival specifically, I’m super excited about your travel guide and your Austen projects.
Love this - it's nice to see you again and hear about all your freelancing and creative work. I love watching knitting podcasts, and I remember watching your Stitch n' Bitch videos - they were great!
Lovely new video! Your sketch books look fantastic. I'd be interested to know what was the thing that helped most with making the shift to actually having a more creative year?
Thank you! I’ll probably make a full video about it, but committing to going to creative meet-ups (museum sketching events, or going somewhere with the purpose to draw) really helped me get started! Once you’re there you gotta do it and it’s easier than starting when you’re just sitting at home.
@@booksandquillsGreat advice. I find it so easy to put it aside when I'm doing it without the social pressure. I'd definitely watch that video if you made it. Happy to see your vids.
Loved this video! Fellow reader/crafter here 👋 I will have to try some of the videos you recommended - I really enjoy watching Alex Collins’ crafting videos - no rush to produce them for the sake of content and shows the pace of making really well 😊
Hello! So nice to see a video from you again and get to know a few more things about your everyday life! I was so excited to hear about the DK travel guides bit! i have been working in a travel bookstore in Greece for about a decade so i have been in contact with the DK sales team and representatives in Southeastern Europe ( lovely people ) and ofcourse i have been loving the dk travel guides💕 Great work! Kind regards and welcome back to the youtube bubble!
Sanne! All of a sudden you popped up in my RUclips recommendations! Lovely to see you still doing creative stuff 💕 love from your fellow seaside town high school classmate :)
I got a bingo card template from Canva and then just filled in my own goals. Some of them feel a bit more personal, but I guess I could make a sample one with some ideas for inspiration :)
Loved the content creation chat and hearing about your job! I would love to see your thoughts on Copenhagen, I spent a lot of my childhood there as my uncle has lived there for 40+ years. I'm waiting until my children are a little less tiny and then I'll be taking them 😍
Copenhagen was so lovely! Felt very chilled, even though we only spent 3 days there, and the pastries were stunning. I'm working on some guides on my favourite spots for anyone going again in the future! :)
P.s. when I say 18 years in the video, it's more like 16. 😅
So happy to see you’re back! 🪩✨🌿
If anyone wants to join the (re)introduction and share a bit about themselves in a comment, you're very welcome to. Would be lovely to say hello :) ❤

That looks amazing actually! Might be a bit tricky to get there via public transport, but I'm sure I can make it work. Thanks :)
You're back! I started watching your channel over 10 years ago. I loved it. You opened up booktube to me! Looking forward to this new phase :)
Ahh that's so lovely to hear! ❤

You were one of my the first people I subscribed to on youtube along with Ariel! Glad to see you're doing well : )
I just found my new favourite channel
Welcome back! I’ve been around for most of your RUclips journey, and I produce for a RUclips channel now. Things have changed so much!
One of the reasons that I'm a daily vlogger. The momentum keeps me going.

Such a cozy calming video 😍
Yay so lovely to see you back again Sanne! Happy you'll be posting more, I've always loved your videos

Heey! Knitting and reading just go very well together and it's been so lovely to meet people who have both hobbies in common :)

I also enjoy watching Becky Cao 😊 Her way of drawing and painting her day to day life in such a carefree way has been really inspiring to me 😊
I hope she knows how many people she inspires! And she posts so frequently too.

I would love to see your freelance bingo card. Could you make a PDF and share that with your followers? That would be lovely.
