  • The Labour Party has won a landslide victory in the UK general election.
With fewer than 10 seats left to declare, this is set to be the worst Conservative result - in terms of seats - in history.
Sir Keir Starmer will be the next UK prime minister and will enter Number 10 Downing Street today.
Overnight, the Liberal Democrats made huge gains, while the Scottish National Party lost dozens of seats.
Reform UK have net four MPs so far and the Green Party have had their best election performance to date.

Labour has achieved just 33.8% of the vote, an increase of just 1.6% on 2019. This is the lowest vote share to achieve a majority, let alone a landslide. with Liebour now in power the UK Citizen will not be victorious ! They will not listen to the public just like the tories never listened and this is the reason the Tories have been hammered ! And Starmer did not bring Labour to the fore front of politics for this victory ! It was the Tories that did it for him , They never listened to us , and only followed their own agenda's so let's wait and see if any lessons have been learned , But I just expect more Lies and Broken promises !

It will change our lives, just not for the better. We'll still have shit dumped into the sea, immigration won't change, hospital wait times won't decrease, tax will go up. It'll change, just not necessarily improve. Fucked either way

It makes a huge difference. The revolving door of PMs we have had lately have bankrupted this country. Perhaps a different leader will not. We’re fucked either way but Labour is the lesser of two evils.

@@nightstorm16 Covid bankrupted this country, and I can promise you, it would not have made any difference having a Labour government. Their only moans at the time were 'not enough' and 'not soon enough', when talking about the Covid measures.

How is it possible that Liz Truss is still so out of touch that she thinks the problem is that the Tories weren’t Tory enough?!? Somehow she cannot recognise that they were at least 10 times too Tory, and people were sick of the greed, cruelty and xenophobia.
