I just found you on RUclips and I love your videos! I am a mom of two girls with another one on the way and I homeschool my kids. I love it because I am spending so much more time with them and I get to watch them learn and grow! Thank you for your insight!

I liked your video ! Unfortunately AS ALWAYS there are people who looooove to dig for things to start a fight ( your teacher comment) instead of voicing their opinion with love and with a purpose other than to fight. If we clicked the video is for homeschool, I don’t see why teachers who aren’t planning to homeschool are clicking just to comment and criticize the ONE THING you said. Great video ! Keep up the good content

Do you have a video sharing your faith testimony? I’d love to listen to that! Deo Gratias for your conversion ❣️ Love your videos and can’t wait to homeschool my children when they are old enough. Baby number one coming October ☺️

I homeschool my 9th grader. It takes 3-1/2 hours each morning. I am able to work my job and supervise her progress. I know, she is getting a good education. I am able to give her one on one attention and work together through any problems or confusion she may have.

Jana B thank you for sharing. I was wondering about balancing my own work with teaching my kid. 3.5 hrs each day would be sufficient to cover everything for a 9th grader? Or she would continue learning without your direct help? Thanks

I think that as kids get older they are able to work better independently which helps for parents to work better with younger children. It's nice 🙂

Woah there! As a teacher I am offended that you think I look at my student only as a paycheck. Do you know how many nights I sit up worrying about whether some of my students will have food on their table? Or whether I'll have to file another CPS report? Do you know how many after school sporting events I attend or on the weekend just to support my students? My students are my kids for life. I don't do it for a paycheck because I can tell you my paycheck doesn't really even cover my own childcare cost.

I *literally* said I don’t want to offend any teachers 🤦🏻‍♀️ ...you’re an incredible teacher I wish the world had more like you! You being wonderful for your students doesn’t change my experience, and me sharing how I feel doesn’t change that you’re a great teacher. ❤️

@@ThisMamasHouse I respect that and like every job there are good and bad ones in the bunch. As a teacher I am even considering homeschooling.

Faith Through Arrows thank you for sharing your perspective. I’m so sorry you endured that. I experienced similar when I confided in a school counselor. 😔

Not every parent who home schools has good intentions.
Some do it to hide the abuse.

Not every public school teacher has good intentions. Some are child abusers and pedophiles.

Studies have shown that far fewer homeschoolers suffer from sexual abuse, neglect, and death than students in the public schools. This misperception happens because the media fails to distinguish between homeschooling families and *truant* families, that is, families who keep their children out of school and then *claim* to be homeschoolers.

Ohhhh noooo….I know you said that you didn’t mean to offend, but as someone with a family full of teachers, including my husband, the kids are NOT just a paycheck to them. It’s a calling. Yeeeeesh. They get paid next to nothing. Anyone who is teaching solely for the money is living in another dimension.

Just because there are some bad teachers out there doesn't mean that there aren't teachers that ACTUALLY care. Blame the school/district rather than all public schools. You're the same person that thinks that all cops are bad when there are cops that ARE good but are outweighed by the bad ones. And you do get to socialize in public school especially with clubs, lunch, etc.
