NEW MAMMOTH ABILITIES
War Drum Saddle and Buff
1 additional passenger seat on a saddle that comes equipped with a war drum that must be played to maintain an AoE buff that improves stamina regen and makes them immune to fear.
Tusk Sweep
Sweeps tusks left or right to gather and harvest thatch
Trunk Trumpet
Emits a trunk roar that does an AOE debuff to all enemies within range
After stepping in water, the next Trunk Trumpet used by the Mammoth will spray the rider with water, hydrating them, removing fire debuffs, and reducing their temperature.
Foot Stomp
Mammoth rears up and then puts all of its weight into a forward “slam” with its front legs to directionally knock back enemies and gather wood
Trunk Grab
Similar to the Karkinos’s grab, it is able to grab, hold, aim and release smaller targets
NEW STEGO ABILITIES
Backplate Modes
Backplate passive buff and can switch between three modes. Different modes will be indicated visually
Hardened Plated: Applies a damage reduction buff; Wood harvesting benefit
Heavy Plate Mode: Applies a slow when attacking with the basic tail whip; Thatch harvesting benefit
Sharpened Plate Mode: Applies an armor penetration effect when attacking with the tail whip. Also useful for harvesting berries
Impaling Tail Whip
Able to impale and immobilize players and creatures below a certain health threshold.
Additional notes
The rider is prevented from dismounting effects and attacks
Has a berry weight reduction buff

Badass! It’s like an actual Jurassic landscape! Utah during the Jurassic was basically a desert where many species had trouble to survive. Stygymolok sticks out as a Cretaceous species but that’s alright.

Stygimoloch was actually a juvenile Pachycephalosaurus. This is what present morphological studies tell us and I believe the paper discussing it is almost out. Dr. Mark Godwin and Cary Woodruff are working on it.

The Allo is probably one of my favorite base game designs. I wish it was fleshed out more along with all of the base game Dinos. To the level they are like the Deinonychus in interesting abilities and environment interaction.

Monster Hunter doesn't have the creative tools I need to make a cinematic unfortunately :'( I would LOVE too one day though, but it'd had to be like a pre-rendered cinematic rather than machinima

fun fact, THAGOMIZER is the spiked tail end of the stegosaurus and is only named that because no one had a name for it till a comic strip named it that as a joke and everyone just went with it

Allosaurus is my favorite dinosaur I’m so glad you included them with the dinosaurs they actually interacted with. I loved seeing the way they used their intelligent packing and circled the group of stegos in strategy form.😃 also how did you get them to lay down with their head up with the allo and patchy? Did you edit it or was it a mod? All around an amazing video loved watching this and look forward to seeing more!!!

That was well done. It is true that Stegosaurus were hunted by Allosaurus. It would of been cool if they changed their plates though if they could anyway. That would be a cool game changer fighting against the Allosaurus pack.

Wish Wildcard would give more thought to their dinos instead of making them brainless creatures that are out to kill you insight.
These episodes make Ark more realistic, dinos have their own personalities in amazing yet funny ways. Like when the stego herd stopped and waited patiently for the Sarco to cross the road to get to the other side. (Honestly I found that small moment pretty funny 😄)
I also have a feeling that Yellow Jacket ( is that the Acro’s name? ) will have his own episode in the future.
