I'm actually very surprised that Wild Card is still bringing new free content for this game to this day. I figured after the Genesis Part 2 expansion, they'd shift all of their focus on Ark II's development and just have a skeleton crew occasionally provide more minor bug fixes for this title. Here's hoping that what's really going on is that they're trying not to overhype the sequel and just keeping most info on it quiet until they feel that they're truly ready to reveal more. @Idk ___ Well it makes sense, something like the Amargasaurus needs to have some special gimmick to make it stand out in comparison to the bigger and stronger sauropods like the Brontos or else we would just have a fancy Diplodocus.
@Idk ___ Yeah the argy is a pretty basic flyer but you got the snow owl if you want an argy with less weight and some cool abilities. In the end it all comes down to preference, I also dont really like shoulder pets but the sinomacrops looks like a nice option if you dont have access to aberration gear like the wingsuit
@Homo Deus the thing is the sinomacrops also reduces the weight u carry, just like a backpack plus its a got a scare feature that could be useful during tough moments. Not to mention you can open its inventory while flying too! so its a really cool should pet since the ones in game are sometimes not as useful.
I believe that was already publicly confirmed, but there's also the fact that the 2 attacking the Trike in this trailer had different ass colors as well so there ya go.
The Amargasaurus is a fire and ice artillery tank. The Sinomacrops is a wing suit that can scare pests. And the Dinopithecus is a grenade throwing war climber.
Dinopithecus is still not a necessary creature, i'd have loved to see something better win the vote, but oh well. Sinomarcops looks absolutely adorable and a very useful shoulder pet Amargasaurus seems like the best creature out of these, cool design and neat functions, a walking Artillery is something new for sure. I hope whatever comes next for ark (maybe another map like this) it'll have some large sauropods with more useful functions like this!
Yeah the money looks pointless tbh seems like another tame one just to have one creature and keep it in a cryopod and never use unless desperate in PvP

I would doubt it. Im kinda shocked it won't be until mid December for release given how long it has been announced. Given that they announced Fjudor yesterday, that logic goes out the window tho. In the past it didn't take the community maps that long to come to official after announcing them.

Yeah even though the community has many gripes with wildcard I think it's pretty clear that they genuinely really like this game
the fact we didnt get a single gameplay footage of ark 2 in almost 2 years let me development may have taken a rough turn
Not sure how much they have to do to get this ready since it was made by a modder. Saves them time making DLC from scratch.
