Guy splits 10's 2.)Guy who split 10's hits a hard 12. 3.)Sodapoppin is supposed to double his hand, but one hit changes nothing. 4.) The next player is supposed to double down here. 5.)The final player hitting hard 12. That is 5 misplays in this hand. The final hands on the table should have been....19, 14, 20, 20, 14, soft 15, and 12...Dealer would have pulled the first jack for 16 and a second jack for the bust.

Even with the guy hitting 12 against 6 it should've ended as 19, 14, 20, 20, 14, 13, 22 bust for third base, dealer flips 12 - dealer pulls 15 - dealer busts with 22. The gross misplays caused him to lose. Assuming he was playing for a little bit before going all in, I would've left the second I saw someone doing crazy misplays like that. Unless the psycho splitting tens was counting and the true count was like +5 that was very very poorly played.

Those are "European Rules". It's extremely common for casinos located in Europe to only deal themselves one card. And yes, this is to the player's advantage due to the fact insurance isn't offered, and the casino can't get a blackjack before everyone else makes their play. Why does this help the player you ask? Think about it: If a player is dealt a 9-2, and then hits a K, he has 21. If the casino then draws an A on a face, that player pushes instead of busts.
In American blackjack, the 9-2 player never stood a chance if the casino was dealt a blackjack.
@@SergeantExtreme I just looked it up and in European blackjack, the dealer blackjack still wins against all 21s except other blackjacks. So Euro blackjack is just worse because of the double downs and splits that just go down the drain to dealer blackjacks.
