I saw him with my parents in 2018 at Coors Field. I told my parents these exact words "I have to see him with you guys before he dies." I know slightly morbid, but had I not convinced them to go with me I would have always regretted it. He has influenced my family to an insurmountable degree. Thank you
In 1986 by pal and I decided to go somewhere fun to make our child...as it turned out, we ended up in Bora Bora. One night, after riding french scooters around the island we headed to at the time, the only restaurant on the island, Bloody Marys. As we walked in, waiting in the lobby area were two people, the man was Arne Næss a newlywed shipping magnate, the woman, with the most amazing black hair and shoulder to floor gossamer white dress was Diana Ross. We never spoke, both parties enjoying their moments while seated at tables next other. We were the only four guests that night, they on their honeymoon, we starting a family....So now, to watch Jim play there brings xtra special thought and memories.
2 of the greatest lines that I live by: o Trying to cram lost years in to 5 or 6 days o 24 hours, maybe 60 good years, it's really not that long a stay
And I live by: I don't want to swim in a roped off sea. I got to be where the wind and water are free. I got to roll with the punches, play all my hunches, make the best of whatever comes my way. (12 years in SE Asia and counting, and trust me, intuition is important for survival and happiness.)
Jimmys just a treasure. Thanks for all youve given. You are one of my favorite doorman. So happy i walked thru your door ... so many years ago. Smiles all over the world. Thanks again

It's taken me forty-five years to get here, but dammit, I made it! Rock on JB!
This is one of the best live performances of this song. Absolutely flawless and prime 2000’s JB. The world isn’t the same without you!!
Yup!! The best!!
Seeing Mr buffer and Mr. Ricie, the waves of emotions 😢 slap u in the face again. He will be so missed all over world. What a man!!✝️
I loved this song the first time I heard it on Son of a Son of a Sailor.

I'm 60 since february.....this song has done something I never thought possible...become even more relevant to me....
My original destination is just another story that I love to tell. Story of my life!
I agree was thinking about that line today.
As I get older it means even more to me.
Cowboy in the Jungle will be my wedding song! Remind me, RUclips, one year!

One of my favorites. I never understood why this song didn’t make it on boats beaches ballads bars box set
Looks like Jimmy Buffett needs to follow up with another part to the boxed set!!! Maybe "Planes"!!!

Always love visiting Bloody Mary's when I go to Bora Bora. Just had my 60th trip to Tahiti in October.
We had our best dinner at Bloody Mary's on our Honeymoon trip
Thats my Uncle Leo JB is talking about who is buried there. Oh they are having quite a party with Capt. Tony for sure. Miss u Bubba!!!
Bubbles Up! Its been a lovely cruise. You sure left us dancing!
He’s never gotten enough credit for his songwriting
There’s a calypso poet shortage...
Bob Dylan included Jimmy in his 6 favorite song writers list.
Nonsense. He has always be great and people have always known that. Don't say that. It's ignorant.
This is our honeymoon spot and met Leo!
Thanks for the songs Jimmy!
I appreciate and enjoy Jimmy's show very much. It reminds me of the time when I was 6time, Asian parrothead. I really miss the time in California.
Don’t stop tellin stories pal....you taught me how.
So glad I get it
