  • In this step by step acrylic paint tutorial I teach you how to paint ocean waves with light sparkles. As with all of my paint tutorials I keep the paint palette very limited to make it easier to explain how to mix your colors. I use only the 3 primary colors (blue, yellow and magenta) plus white. I will teach how to mix all of the colors we will use.
    I would be so grateful if you subscribed to my channel!!
    I would also love to hear from you. Questions, advice, tips to share, requests for other tutorials....anything you have on your mind! Please leave me a comment. And I will respond back. :)
    If you've ever painted along with me, PLEASE send me pics! I would loooove to see them. You can tag or message me on instagram or Facebook (see links below).
    And as with all of my videos be sure to watch until the very end to see some cute, funny or silly antics from our French Bulldog, Poet.
    THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR WATCHING!!!
    Have an amazing day!
    Debbie :)

    Your last tutorial really helped me a lot especially in terms of technique. I’ve been used to working with blues (Prussian blue, pthalo blue, ultramarine blue and a few yellows) so I felt really stuck when trying to use pinks or reds...it would just throw me off for some reason lol. I can’t wait to try this one!!! Stuff like this would intimidate me so much and you make it less intimidating and more approachable.

    • @DebbieAvouxStudio
      @DebbieAvouxStudio  5 лет назад

      K. Fox Oh that makes me so happy to hear! I don’t want art to be intimidating for people. I want everyone to know they can do it!!! You just need someone to break it down in simple terms. You can paint anything with a little practice. ;)
      Thank you so much for this feedback. I would love to see your version of this painting. ❤️ You can tag me on Instagram or facebook @ DebbieAvouxStudio or email it to me @ debbieavoux@yahoo.com

    wow i am blown away on how i caught on after such a long time never getting it right i actually stopped using acrylics for a little over a year and started doing watercolors i love it but I started out doing oils then got a little tired of the mess and then used acrylics i am more blown away the fact that i was using basic paints but it would dry so fast. now i recently purchased windsor and newton i like it so far but i dont see a big diff yet.either that or I just had to go to water color to learn water control better and then come back to using acrylics also a good medium helps ...thanks for posting this 2 thumbs up and a sub :)

    Thank you!...this tutorial changed everything for me... I have struggled with water for decades.... I have no training whatsoever but I paint A lot of seascapes and lighthouses and my water is always the worst part of the painting.... I auction my pieces to benefit veteran suicide charities... I don't make much but it is so good for the soul.... Thanks again

    I love your teaching ability. You did a short tutorial on water when on vacation in Rhode Island. Could you please teach us how to paint that water in real time?

    As a novice in painting (started one year ago, a week after turning 60 !) I need all the help I can get. I love the ocean (water in general) and have, over the last few months, watched quite a few tutorials on RUclips. I would rate yours as one of the best ! I truly appreciated the step by step approach, especially with the explanation at each step. I plan to paint something similar in oil very soon.
