Hi Steve. I am getting a P0700 on a 2014 Chevy Traverse I have a remanufactured, believe that it was simply rebuilt though. This code is part of the reason that I had to have the transmission rebuilt. I have taken it to the Trans shop and the regular mechanic and neither are able to find anything. The code itself is erased or "Not Present" at the time of inspection. We have lost faith in the vehicle do to this ongoing problem. Any suggestions that you can give is very appreciated.
If you clear the codes, you’d still have to wait for your car to run through a cycle of you starting it driving it a couple times to see if the check engine light will come back on after a few runs. You can’t just rescan it after you clear the codes and start at one time.
Hi I have a Holden cruze 2010 P0700 transmission control system (MIL REQUEST) P0751 shift solenoid "A" performance stuck/off What does it mean do I need a new gearbox? Or can't I service the transmission fluid filter ect and change the solenoids? I don't know what to do
While driving through an unusually intense 45 minutes torrential rain storm (lightening, the whole works) I received this code which resulted in very delayed shifting on the low end. I was able to drive the vehicle the 15 miles home at speed without an issue. The next day I took the vehicle out for a drive and it was shifting perfectly. So I cleared the code. No problem. Is it possible that the wiring coming out of the transmission control module and/or along the path could be exposed and the rain resulted in this code?
This same thing just happened to me, I think the wet roads got the water splashing and set it off, because I also drove home and didn’t have any issue. Cleared code and hoping it don’t come back :)
Well, though my theory as to the code's origin is potentially correct, in my case it wasn't. I was experiencing the first sign of what eventuated into a need to rebuild the transmission.

Hi Steve I have a 2009 saturn vue reading p0700. Service traction control and service stabilitrak appears on baseboard. I cleaned the throttle. The car has went into limp mode three times in the past. Any suggestions? Thanks a bunch

Hello, have you checked the condition of the transmission fluid? Check if the wiring to the o2 sensor is damaged and have a look at the exhaust system if there's any leak. The catalytic converter must also be inspected as it might be clogged.
You may check it by using a scan tool to check the readings and compare between banks. One way to check if there's any leak is you may hear a loud tick sound lower down on the engine.
I have a 2009 GMC Sierra it tell me code PO700 it has a delayed shift and bang really hard on transmission do I change out the transmission control module?
Hi Lex, have you checked the fluid? You'll know that the transmission is going out if the transmission fluid's color is rough and if you can find any metal flakes in it. Check also if there's an issue with the shift solenoid and the valve body.
I have a 2007 Subaru Forester XT. I’m getting the P0700 and 0725 code. It’s saying it’s the TCM. But my symptoms don’t sound related to that code. My car just died on me last week. Now it just won’t start. Would the TCM cause that?

Hey Steve. I have a 2011 chevy cruze and it's reading p0700 p0716 and p07bf. What do you suggest I do next. Transmission shop already changed my speed sensor. I burned something trying to jump my car and since then my transmission starts acting up momentarily
@@nondainc thank u for the reply. The Trans shop suggested the speed sensor,changed it and it fixed nothing. I was charged for that so I don't trust the transmission recommendations they had next. But the code reader suggested a bad speed sensor wire harness poor connection. Do you think they changed the harness when they changed the sensor?
Since you are getting multiple codes at the same time, we cannot guarantee the solution until visually inspect the vehicle. We suggested checking the TCM base on our experience. We will be waiting for your update, Evan.

Local dealer inspected and they said replaced with second-hand transmission valve body it fixing it is impossible. They said that they have to replace it with a new valve body which is cost around 2000 USD. Do you have a suggestion?

Hi Frank, if there are no any other codes registering together with this code, check if there are shorted or open circuit within the transmission control module and if it's low on fluid or the color is rough/have metal flakes in it. These are the signs that the transmission is going out.
Hi Sharon, this code is triggered when the ECM has detected the input signal from the input speed sensor is lower than the specified range. Kindly have your local mechanic visually check the input/turbine speed sensor, output speed sensor and the torque converter if needs replacement.

Hi Hakeem, you might have a bad sensor or loose connector. What symptoms are you encountering? If your drivability/vehicle's performance is bad then you might need a new transmission.
@@nondainc the car starts, when i accelerate and depress gas pedal, the rpm response very slowly and the car begins to move very very slugish, then the car go and i can drive it almost at 90 mile speed without any problem, but when the car reach a speed pump, the problem will reappear, and the car doesnt go forward even i depress fully on the gas pedal, and the rpm doesnot rise or rise very very slowly or sluggish.

2017 surburban and it just show the that code it’s has 77,000 miles.
