No affiliate program! You so deserve compensation. I have bought so many patterns after seeing your makes.
You are appreciated.
You have an amazing teaching style. Thank you for all the time, work, and expense you put into your channel. I appreciate you.
The shirts are nice. It's nice that you show us your makes styled in a variety of ways.
That pink version is fabulous! Having it over the monochrome under layers really highlighted it. You have such genius for seeing these hacks in your mind & bringing them into being.
Thanks!
Im so glad i found this video. Im currently (slowly) sewing the donny shirt and the official tutorial is harder for me to follow due to angles and the fabric choice they used. This is so much clearer and easier to follow. Thank you so much.
Now im regretting my fabric choice (and my laziness to not interface), but i'll think of it as a toile 😅
U have made me look better n my pants n helped me to make bias binding my trend. I recommend u to all my sewing/ designing colleagues 🎉
So happy to help :)
I love the pink version, and what a great find that removable closure is. Thanks!
This has convinced me that I do need this pattern.
The removable enclosure is really great. I need to find these!
Your topper hack is amazing!!
The hack to make it open all the way down is brilliant! Really works well 👏 I am always nervous of collars, but you make it look easy. Thanks, Karina!
What a great idea to use a different fabric for the yoke! I should have done that! I love the modification for the topper as well. Very clever.
Always enjoy your video you are a fantastic sewer thank you
I love following your channel!!! Love your sewing, hacks and styling! So inspirational!!! Thank you!
I really like both the blue and pink versions. I bought the pattern. Very nice! I like your alterations to it. It is very flattering with both the pants and skirt.
Thank you so much!
Ditto from AussieMummy! I so appreciate all you put into these videos. Just beautiful!
Karina, these look amazing on you! The colors are beautiful. Loved the way you styled them.
Your jacket hack is so lovely and practical!
It’s great to see your subscribers increasing because the content and organization is excellent! Love this pattern and it’s a nice change from a shirt style. You look great in both makes. I try to sew every weekend because you inspire me. Thank you for teaching me how to do things the right way 🙂
Deb Dion Love the unique hook and bar you used such a great idea.
Great! I was hoping that you would make a video about this shirt. :D
Both of these shirts are stunning... looking beautiful with both your pants... wonderful temporary hook n bar solution... thank you for sharing your wonderful talent with us...
Love your versions and the hack is very smart looking. I’ve made 3 of these so far and love them. The last version I made sleeveless and added a dart for shaping and to take in excess at the armhole. I also ran an easeline at front & below the yoke to gently pull in the armhole excess & finished with bias strip. It worked great but think next time I’ll do that full bust adjustment to move the dart below the arm. My fabric has a busy floral print so the dart is invisible, but in a solid color it would look weird. I was hoping you’d do a review of this wonderful pattern, so thanks much!
The dining shirt looks beautiful on you. If I made it, I would definitely have to lengthen it.😊
I am making a prediction before I even watch the video. You are going to convince me to buy the pattern. The usual😂

I'll be following the SAL to sew the original version of the Donny shirt in a beautiful Batik linen, but I love your open front hack, too! Fun and inspiring to watch you styling your makes. Thanks, Karina! Can't wait to see more Donny shirt hacks.
Both of your tops are just fabulous. Thank you for sharing 🤓🏴
Both are lovely. Absolulove the Fushia
Cute shirt. Nice to see you in that bright pink. Looks great on you.
❤... no words
Cool pin closure.
Hi! What is your go to interfacing fabric?
Karina you are a bonafide fashion and sewing diva. I cannot help wondering, where do you store all these clothes you make? 😎
You know, thats the best part of Katrina's channel, she actually wears all of her makes. You will also see her pair her makes together tops, bottoms and beyond. I've even purchased patterns because I like how she's styled ( 2 ) two of her makes together. I also enjoy seeing her wear clothes she'd sewn a year or so ago.
Nice collar! These days. I refuse to buy patterns that do NOT have bust darts. But, you mentioned that it’s possible to add darts, hopefully bust darts! Is there a video with those instructions❓

I have been crushing on the Donny shirt pattern and it looks fabulous on you. But I am short and plus sized. I am also broad shouldered and I'm afraid it will not be flattering on me personally. It will just make me look broader.
What about a drapier fabric?
I’m a bigger girl too. Just find the length that suits you. A drapy fabric too will fall softly. 3/4 sleeves can be more flattering too.
Me too. I made mine with the high- low style, and color blocking.
Hello! Thank you for this video- it was so helpful! I have a question about attaching the collar- if mine is not lining up perfectly and I’m getting some bunching or pleats, would that indicate that I’ve coen something wrong? Perhaps with the cutting or pattern tracing?
Maybe you cut the collar with the fabric on the fold. That can make your collar a tad bit longer and thus will not match the neckline exactly. That’s why I extend the pieces to cut them in a single layer and without a fold.
I like both of your tops. Do you have information to source the pins? You said you found them in a store so I won’t be disappointed if you can’t source them.
I don’t have a link. I just found them in a local in person shop.
Do you think it would be possible for this to be done in a stretch fabric? I would love the original version to use as a golf shirt
I wouldn't. The facings and collar would be much harder to manage in a knit for it to looks good, neat and not stretched out. It would also feel super baggy.
