I get the reference, but tbh I think of the song more like a entire story of an astronaut going on a solo mission who has lost near everything just going for one last moon waltz (get it?) With little flashbacks of what life seemed to be, with cuts back to the real world

Yup! Everything is my own playing or programming. I only sampled the beep sound. I also made it match the tempo of the original (which I also learned the piano version is played at the same tempo), so you can play both at the same time if you really wanted to :)
I am a big instrumental person and HOLY SHIT IS IT AMAZING better than the original even I would say the vocals are great too but the instrumental is just next level
