It’s not about training, practice , it’s about mental toughness that Patrick was insinuating. Patrick knows you have all the physical attributes.

Ryan is putting the work, but you could clearly tell he lost focus before he left Canelo Team and he was not dedicated because of money, fame and girls. I remember watching DAZN Behind Scenes when Canelo was training, Ryan came to the gym, left and Canelo was still training. Thats Mamba mentality.

One night after a home game in LA, against the 76ers, Allen Iverson came up to Kobe and asked, "where are the hot clubs here? Let's hit the town." Kobe replied, "I don't know, man, you go ahead- I'm going to the gym to work on my game."
    That's Mamba Mentality

Not everyone should be obsessed with their image and job. Messi is a talent and not the hardest trained player so he wasnt a good example. Kobe was, Jordan was and Flord isnt. Floyd is brains and talent with discipline when its time to go. Everyone shouldnt be great because if that was the case, then they would become average.
A guy once said this to me, having a six pack is not worth it because the type of life you have to live to maintain it, isnt worth it. Being the goat is the same as maintaining a six pack on steroids without the use of steroids. It's not for everyone and its ok. The kid will make 100s of millions if he hangs around Floyd since he is about his money . Maybe the kid wants to be a great fighter but not the greatest and thats ok . its easy to criticize when you arent the one doing what you want someone else to do.

I don't agree with Pat here & think it's condescending for him to imply that Ryan isn't working hard enough without having much insight into Ryan's training/lifestyle. In top level sports to be amongst the absolute greatest of all time is very rarified atmosphere, it takes insane god given talent AND a great attitude. Garcia could train harder than any fighter ever has and won't be considered a GOAT, there are levels to it, he hasn't the ability of a Sugar Ray, Duran, a Mayweather etc. he's best focusing on himself, fighting to the best of his abilities & getting back in contention for major titles.

Agree Pat. He may be training like crazy… he may be doing everything he says he’s doing. But being obsessed, having some sort of next level of hunger, that is what separates the levels of success. In anything pretty much

He needs to mature as a man first in order to acquire that mamba mentality. There is a bunch of things that speak about his lack of education. He was on the phone texting while talking with PBD. Eating. Man either you are fully paying attention and engaging in the conversation or you simply don’t show up. He definitely needs to learn what respect means

I understand all the people here saying: "grow up, kid!" I disagree with it 100% - He is in the process people. Stop it. He is growing up, and he is very much in the here and now of life. Clearly, he is ahead of many on the intelligence game and behind some as well. So....? Comparisons to others is ridiculous. No one is the same, BECAUSE we are all different people. Different on many levels. Like everything, it's on a spectrum. Its no 0, 100, GOT. It is 0 to 100, GOAT status when you are that according to yourself. Comparing to others, is this kid the GOAT? No, I doubt it. You can tell that he is on his way! The key question is: Is he the GOAT compared to his past self, comparing that to what he was doing and where he's currently at? Yes he is. Humble, honest and walking in truth. He's doing great! Well done man, much respect to you for sure!!
PS: I heard this saying a long time ago, and it's funny how many times I think of it:
"We spend our younger years hurrying, wanting so badly to grow up and be an adult. Then, once we are an adult, we spend the rest of our lives wanting to be a kid again."
In so many ways that is true. In some ways, obviously - it isn't. For the most part, I agree with that statement! XD ✌🏼❤☯️

How is Patrick inviting people to Messi house when I can guarantee Messi doesnt know him?
Its amazing how much he name drops. I guess most people dont know that the people who come on his program are paid. Anyone can book most of these people if you have the money . Shaq is not your friend and Messi happen to live in your neighborhood so stop acting like these people know you .
I guess this is faking it until you make it. But If messi or his people ever found out that this dude is using his likeness to impress people , i bet my life on it, he will get a cease and desist and be sued for doing what he is doing . Again, how can you be telling people to go bother people you dont know who live in your neighborhood !!!

He over does his confidence. Almost like he’s still trying to sell himself to ppl. Kinda corny how he does it.. almost like that over confident underperformer. That’s pretty much his career in boxing though. I called it years ago. Going back and forth with the Uber driver after his Campbell fight. I told him, “I don’t see fighter when I listen to or hear him, I don’t see dawg” and you NEED that in that sport

I’m really tired of people praising these greats. Whether that be basketball, academia, or the business world. Kobe was a great basketball player. He had a natural ability, you could have have a 1000 excellent basketball players with the “mamba mentality” we’ve all heard of and they would never be anywhere close to as great as Kobe. The older I get the more I’m convinced that it’s less about hard work and more about chance, in-ate ability, and all or most of the cards aligning in someone’s favor which could I guess also be called chance. That’s one thing a lot of successful people don’t want to admit, the chance part. Do they work hard? Sure. Do they have an X factor that they inherited? Absolutely and that X factor plays a bigger part in their success than hard work.
