Yes!! Today will never compare to all the great shows we had!!! Even the theme songs were good!! I still love the Amen and golden girls song. Even the reading rainbow song is a bop.
The last one broke me I wasn't expecting that. Rip❤️ So many children in the new generation will never get to have such positive beautiful image of black women and men relationships displayed to them. It's being erased and replaced
That's an underrated sitcom show The Parenthood till this day don't nobody never mention that show at all in the white community and in the black community that's so sad 🙏🏿😢
@@MissTia777 no it wasn't that show was funny as hell. It prollay didnt get much rotation cause it was on the wb and that time the biggest shows on the wb was steve harvey and jamie foxx. It only got corny when tk came in n the son played by kenny blank left. Other then that. The show definitely had its moments esp when faizon was on it. But to each its own tho.
I never knew Mr Gaines( Lou Myers) passed away😞😞😞. A Different World is was ahead of it's time and still highly relevant today. Rip KING! Suzanne Douglas definitely deserves her own story as well. Hell all three who have passed on do. Life is short y'all. Happy New Year to the entire CU crew... Ps.. My bday is the 24th... A story of at least 30 mins would be nice please and thank you lol
Could you do a whole Motown series for a few episodes like David Ruffin, Eddie K, Gladys Horton, Rick James, Melvin Franklin, Mary Wells and other Motown stars who sadly passed

Suzanne Douglas....great actress. Just found out through this story that she passed. And from the very same thing my oldest brother died from. 😢😢 Pancreatic cancer is no joke. Very painful and incurable disease. RIP Suzanne 🙏 I just came across your channel a week ago. Great job you're doing on these stories 💖
Man!! Great episode!! Tap is an awesome movie with all those great tap dancers, including Sandman and Harold Nicholas!! The challenge scene floors me every time I watch it, and that street dance sequence with Gregory Hines was awesome too!!
Please, more of these man! I had no idea that Suzanne Douglass had died! The Parent' hood is an incredibly underrated & unfairly overlooked sitcom. It was not at all like the Cosby Show. It was more realistic than the Cosby Show, for one. I hate that that show doesn't get acknowledged nowadays! I loved it back in my junior high days. The Inkwell reminds me of my late mother, as it was one of her favorite movies. Hell, you could also do a whatever happened to, on Kenny Blank, Reagan Home Preston, the boy who played Nick, I forget his name, & the girl who played CeCe. The first guy you discussed, i'm pretty sure I remember him being on the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, as a huge, scary boyfriend of Garcelle Beauvais's character, that Will & Carelton are trying to hide from. Yeah, he was in some of everything, & it's crazy that he was working as a police officer, at the same time that he was starring in all these tv shows & movies!
Mannn CU thank you so much for all work hard work and dedication for all these uploads about these wonderful unsung he/sheros of which mostly consists of our people!!!! Hopefully many, many, MANY years down the line your legacy will be spoke about by another young black 🤴🏾 or 👸🏾! I hope this year is filled with nothing but greatness for you and yours!
I would love to see you cover Andre Harrell, Della Reese, Lee Reherman, Byron Fox, Coolio, Melvin Edmonds, Jesse Powell, Max Julien, Tame One, Hurricane G, Kevin Clark, Lisa Robin Kelly, Ron Lester and Armand Jones
I added this video on my watch later list as soon as i received the notification. This a great way to start out the new year. Get we please get whatever happened tos on Rudy Ray Moore, Ron O’Neal, Max Julien, Dick Anthony Williams, Tamara Dobson, Bernie Casey, Carroll O’connor, Earl Hyme, Pat Morita, Vonetta Mcgee, Wylie Draper, Christopher Reeves, Lynn Thigpen, Tony Burton & Paul Benjamin?
Good, good ones...I thought for sure there was one on Dick Anthony Williams and Vonetta McGee. I think he was on one of the earlier "whatever happened to" episodes. Bernie Casey, Vonetta Mcgee, Paul Benjamin, Lynn T and Tony Burton were so underrated., especially Paul Benjamin. Burton was in a lot of shows/movies outside of the Rocky franchises.
Each person that you do a video on takes me back to my childhood. It hurts that when our people die that they are not applauded that Caucasian folks. Keep doing these amazing videos. God, bless you 🙏🙏🙏🙏
A different world is definitely one of my favorite tv shows when i always coming home from school.... Classic and i seen rosey in money talks ...rip to that cat
A Different World still comes on TV One the channel that's crazy I seen it last night the reruns and all that stuff still comes on #classicmemories 💯🙏🏿🙌🏿
That wasn't Rosy. He was another HUGE brother whose first name was Jamie. He started on a Different World episode where he played the star football player that Deane had to tutor. *Started. Not started
Your channel popped up in my suggested thread, I clicked on this video and it was very informative. You now have a new sub! Keep the information coming! 👍🏽❤️
Can you please do the life story of John Matuszak? He played Sloth in The Goonies! I heard his life wasn't a happy one, so I'd love to hear you pay homage to him by telling us his story.🤗
Wow I used to cut Andre’s hair in Seattle I was his barber & friend. I’m so surprised you are telling his story. I have pictures of us from back in the day. I thank you for the accurate information I know what you say is true.
He broke up a fight with Eddie Murphy in it. Remember the movie Eddie Murphy did with Robert DeNiro call showtime where Eddie was a coo trying to get into acting, I think Eddie played that role mimicking Rosy Brown career.
Suzanne Douglas was a great actress. She was awesome in Jason's Lyric as the mom.
Yes rest in peace too beautiful Suzanne Douglas 👑❤️🙏🏽🕊🌹
Parenthood was one of my favorite shows,so underrated. Three great talents.
I HOPE UP NEXT IS PAUL WINFIELD OR DELLA REESE

Bre Sams, I know, it's so sad & unfortunate.
Yes you are right 100% right 😔😔😔
Suzzanne Douglas also had a recurring role as Nikki's sister Constance on The Parkers
Tap, Jason's Lyric and The Inkwell are timeless classic movies
She was so beautiful and talented. She was one of the finest TV mom's ever.

They sure are. I did not know that Suzzanne Douglass was in Tap, I loved that movie.

Sooooo many legends were in that classic movie.
Lou D. Myers also was in FRIDAY AFTER NEXT...... but his scenes were cut from the theatrical version.... The deleted scenes are on the DVD
