I’ve been feeling a bit down about my facial exercises as I’ve had surgery on my face a month ago so I’ve gone without my exercises and still have quite a bit of fluid stuck in my face. Starting out again very slowly and hopefully my results will show back up. Stick with it everyone. Just like body exercise you use it or lost it it seems. Ty dear Peta!!
Oh Stefanie, thats awful, I do hope you are healing now. As you gently start again, the fluid should drain from all the squeezing of the muscles.

I've got a lot of catching up to do! Very long story short-- despite my best efforts to stay safe, I caught Covid, at the end of April. I battled the virus for roughly 6 weeks, and am still struggling to regain my health and my quality of life. I've got post viral fatigue syndrome, and neurological/Cardiovascular damage, which may be permanent . I'm grateful to be alive, but I'm what is called a " Covid long hauler". Anyway, just wanted you to know why I haven't been commenting for so long on your videos. I'm slowly getting back into doing my facial exercises again. I hope you're staying safe and well, Peta. We start series 1 50 reps for 5 days 6th day is massage, 7th day rest, then do 50 reps as above, do this for 2 weeks then start 100 reps for 2 weeks then start 150 reps for 2 weeks. I have a lot of confusion. I have been with you forever a year. I am doing 50 reps at this time. I thought I was doing ok. But I don’t see any changes with my 11 lines, or my neck!
I do 50/100/150 reps. But i continue to repeat the same all over again. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong?? Please help me.

Hi Julie, no you dont use a roller with this treatment and is why I never mentioned it. You need to do it the way I am showing with your hands. :-)

❤ there is a balance between the forces of muscles.
If we are over activating a single muscle this will cause a problem. Exp:
-when we concentrate... have pain... are exposed to the sun or are sad... phone.... We overuse the corrugator supercilii, the procerus and the orbicularis oculi muscles and this will result in: 11 lines and fatigued eyes
To correct it we have to deactivate these muscles by OVER ACTIVATING THEIR ANTAGONISTS: which are the frontalis and the Levator palpebrae superioris muscles. So We have to raise ours brows slightly (without wrinkling them) and open widely our eyes.
-if we over use the triagularis we will develop big jowels and lose our cheekbones
To correct it we have to activate the caninus and stretch the platysma+triangularis (swan Neck pose)
-if we over use the Levator nasolabial muscle we will develop nasolabial fold
To correct it we have to
*1 deactivate it by activating its antagonist (the nasalis muscle) and *2 stretch it that this shortened muscle regain its length (the big O pose)

Hi LeJones, I am unsure what you mean about fitting things in in morning and night. You do the exercises either morning or night, and then if you do yoga, you do those 12 hours apart from the exercises, hope that helps! And thank you for your support!
@@facerobics oh no I thought you said in a video that it is better to do the exercises at night if possible...i may have misunderstood. I was just saying I have to do them in morning . I wish i had more time to do in evening before bed instead.

Hello Peta. I have a question about your sets of excersises. After you have completed phase 1 and you are going into phase 2, do you do phase 2 by itself or do you do it together with phase 1 and same question for phase 3. Do you eventually do them all together? This is not clear.
Hi Connie, firstly, we do not talk in terms of phases, the terminology is Series and Levels. A series is a group of exercises you do for 6 weeks, the levels are within the series, and are graduated. Hi Marie, alot of people ask me this, so let me see if I can work out an alternate exercise for the jaw. I assume its S1 ? In the meantime, just do it very gently, not to the point that your jaw clicks. Dont use so much effort, maybe micro movements, but if its not working dont do it

Peta this is genius, it's as if I'm giving my muscles a warm up before the workout! Love it! Also, would it hurt for me to run the knuckle over and behind the ear? Just curious.
So wonderful that you love it. Yes it is normal to have pain like that, you are releasing all the little acupressure points on the face an behind the ear. the more you do it, the pain will subside.

I know that with ageing the facial muscles get weak but I thought that the fat in the face became loose because of the loss of elastin and collegian so the fat falls downward due to gravity.
If I have sensitive skin that reacts poorly to this rubbing motion could you get the same effect with a facial roller?
hi, a facial roller will only relax the skin, there are no proven effects of it

Hi Peta. I have really worked hard and have finally manage how the program works. I am very upset as I am doing level one now. Finding jawls very hard. I am getting wrinkles just under my cheek bone. Do things get worse before better. Don't want to stop. Will these wrinkles go if I keep at it. Thanks Peta.
Hi Susan, no its doesnt get worse before it gets better. It should just get better. Possibly look to see what you are doing when you do the exercises if you are pushing too hard, or not isolating an area. Have you changed anything to do with the exercise routines?

Hi Rose, welcome to the channel! Yes, go to the next series, in your case, Series 2. Give yourself a week off to watch all the videos in that series and learn them first before you start. Dont just go straight into it. Best to learn them first.

Will these exercises help sagging jowls that have started going into the neck? That's what mine are like and I despise the way they make me look.

Hi Mitra, yes you can but you have to let it heal fully before attempting the exercises, and I would clear it with your Doctor also if you want to start again

Do it as a routine, like you would your daily workouts, and then you will see results. Each individual is different, so one cannot really say when you will see results. Good luck🥳👍
I have been changing my diet for my health and learning too that it makes you look younger potentially? Vitamin C does wonders and a chemical found in broccoli does this too I also use a bit of cinnamon afterwards to get rid of the acid in my mouth and prevent cavities with a bit of baking soda too . I was also thinking of one of the programs on the TV stated that you can get an inpatient equivalent to an eye lift or face lift for much cheaper and it's a lot less recovery time too if anyone wanted to do that. I have noticed personally though that when I do these exercises I actually think better and am 70 now If I could I would do them much more often because I need my mind to function better now you know? I have also noticed my color improves doing exercise and facial exercises too So ? I couldn't be a bad thing not for me *

That was actually the first thing I experienced before my face started lifting was clearer thinking. I do talk about it occasionally in the videos. When you talk about levels what do you mean? All I can find are series! I'm confused as to what I should be doing. I have done series one 50, 100 and 150 times. Then I see there is series 2 with 50, 100 and 150. What should I be doing and how often. I feel my face will cramp up if I keep doing so many.
Hi Carol, there are 3 levels in every one of the 6 series, 50 reps only for 2 weeks - level 1, 100 reps only for 2 weeks - level 2 and 150 reps only for 2 weeks - level 3. When you finish the series, move to the next. Take a week off in between to learn the new set of exercises and then start with the same method. you do not do all of the repetitions all at once.

Hi pita. Sorry. I was doing my exercise today and I noticed when I was doing my cheek lifter. When I do the o shape and make my mouth taught. Wrinkles develop just under my cheek. When I lift my cheeks the wrinkles show. Hands don't cover. I can feel the muscles moving grand but the wrinkles get worse. Could you help with something I could do. Sorry for annoying you.x

When I try to do the other exercise with the massater . I am pressing trying to cover the massater and jut out my jaw but that affects where wrinkles are. So sorry pita. I know you can't see what I am doing. Learning everything for the last 3 months.

Hi Enigmatic soul, you need to follow the program as prescribed. Just try to build up to the higher levels by doing the exercises gently. do not strain or use so much muscle effort and allow your muscles to get used to the exercise.

Hello Chong, it depends on how much your jowls are sagging. If the skin is sagging so much, the tiny muscles under the skin may not grow enough to where the skin stretches over the muscle. What I mean by this is as you exercise your facial muscles they begin to grow and it depends on how much skin is covering that muscle. If its extreme as you suggest, the skin will still sag. Does that make sense?

Hi Octo, facial exercise is not a fix all thing, and you do have to manage your expectations. Did you have alot of sagging skin to begin with and are you following all of the series or just doing some?
If you have allergies that does that bagging according to what I have been reading However if you can use aloe products and Cerva creams they usually tighten up the area under your eye and repair it too There is also a tuck that is done much more cheaply and is done in about an hour or so inpatient . The results are very nice and again so much cheaper than a lift .

Will this help reverse retinol damage that resulted in drooping jowels?
Well, it will tighten up the muscles around that area, but it wont repair any skin damage. Facial exercise works on the muscles not the skin....hope that helps

Dalia we have 6 series in the exercise program we start with series 1 level 1 for 50 reps, after 2 weeks it is level 2 of series 1 for 150 reps, then after 2 weeks it is level 3 which is 150 reps.

I have been practicing the three levels for more than one and half year there is a result in cheek area but lam bad in jowls it is even more saggy than past don’t know what to do .lam 44 years old l hope you can help me cause lam really disappointed
