@@Heavy_C I don't doubt their craftsmanship. I'm waiting for them to produce more ridiculous values like the Canik TP9 series and the old Canik CZ clones.
@@similaritiesendhere I've got a Tri-Star S120 all black. Which is the Canik CZ-75 clone. Love it. I've also got a SAR-9, a Girsan Regard, and a Girsan MC28. The MC28 has a heavy trigger pull, but aside from that they're all well made and dependable. Haven't had any issues with any of them.
I picked up a P8L yesterday for $450. This is my first personal handgun ever and first firearm I have owned in 23 years. I also hadn't fired a handgun at any kind of target in 15 years until I bought this yesterday and went straight to the range. I was super impressed either with my aim or the accuracy of this gun because I only missed 3 out of 50 rounds shot and 2 of those misses were at 20 feet. I popped 5 rapid fire shots and hit all 5 too. It is smooth and fun to shoot. I bought it for the price as it was similar in price to a used Rugger Security 9 they had as well but on hold until it was cleared by the local authorities and I didn't want to wait. I am very happy with my decision especially after seeing all the good reviews.
I have recently gotten K12 Sport or K2 45C in stainless steel. I had the K2 45 full sized and it is a soft shooter. I did videos on both K12 Sport or K2 45C.
Just ordered a P8L S.S. today (05-18-21)......got lucky, was just looking at different sites passing the time and couldn't believe it, ran across one at Cheaper Than Dirt.......hard to find, bought it! Love SAR, I now have four different models.....good video, enjoyed.
the front sight blew off of mine after just over 40 rounds. Talked to SAR USA on the phone and they told me there is not yet a reliable fix, and that they'd let me know when there was. This was a month ago

Bought a Sar 2000. Haven’t shot it but about 200 rounds. Love it ! Favorite pistol I own out of my 23 others! Were you aiming a foot below center mass or a foot below the target at one hundred yards? Ammos in short supply, I can’t fool around too much! Oh , Someone was asking where to get a holster. Masc makes them. Company out of Turkey. They’ll ship you one about $60: Well made holsters.
I have a Sar 9 and a K12 sport. Both have been great for me. This looks like a good balance between the two. Striker fired handguns are nice but there is something to be said for the aesthetics and adjustability of a full steel gun.
I have the S... it's also 17+1 LOVE it! However, after about 50 rounds, the front sight came off... have to send info to SAR to have them send me a replacement. :/
These pistols seem quite damned impressive, as did a few other pistols (non-CZ75 clones) in the lineup I saw in 9x19 and .45 ACP which had frame mounted safeties...; it is a pity that many folks' political dislike of things Turkish might put a dent in their potential, but, ultimately SARs prices in their lineup might hook many!
I am all about it, I will be getting almost everything they sell over the course of the next several years. I want the K12 sport and this really badly.....
You carefully hold the hammer and pull the trigger and then let your finger off the trigger and lower the hammer. If you have ever used a single shot with an exposed hammer this is not difficult to do, you just need to be sure to have control of the hammer.
Hey gunstuff, could you check on your 17 round mag and see if it shows a witness mark at 15, or does it count up to 17? I can jam 17 in there but wondering if they sent me shorter mags possibly. I've contacted them but no response so far (if you dont mind of course!) and thank you, there are hardly any reviews on these bad boys, I just picked mine up and got to shoot it today:)
Great video. I ordered the P8S in stainless. It only comes with 1 magazine, do you know what gun's magazine is compatible with this one? Because I can't find a Sarsilmaz magazine anywhere .
How does the P8L compare to K12 Sport. They both look similar in frame size. I know the K12 marketed as their competition gun with trigger, sights, etc... but how does this p8l compare? And how bout the p8s with the ported yet shorter barrel?
Do these come with the runberized grips like the ones on yours? because I'm seeing pics of them with the cheap plastic grips but all the videos I've seen and shot show video show the same nice runner grips.
