You all prolly dont give a damn but does someone know a way to get back into an Instagram account..? I was stupid forgot my password. I love any tricks you can offer me!
It's Crazy how expensive Blu Ray's were 5 years ago. I remember buying the 2010 Remake of The Wolfman for $10 And thought it was an Amazing deal. Now you can get blu ray's for next to nothing. Times have changed.
People are moving to digital. Or streaming services. 10 dollars a month for many movies> 10 dollars for a couple blu Ray's. I prefer to have the movie, but most movie watchers just want to stream
That moment when you just watched the hilariocity review of Dragonball: Evolution and then accidentally end up here just to see that he had this vision, this urge so many years ago.
This was one of the funniest videos in a while. That Quantum of Solace thing had me cracking up...it's so true how Wal-mart does that. Great video, Chris.
it would be fun to see more of these shopping videos these types of videos in addition to the reviews give some really interesting suggestions for what to collect on bluray
This was absolutely awesome! I just couldn't stop laughing when Quantum Of Solace was 7.50 then you turn around and it's 5 bucks! Lmao! Yeah, these Walmart adventures are awesome. Did you ever feel crazy in Walmart, at midnight, talking to yourself with a video camera?
I prefer DVD's to. I don't trust censor happy sony. I actually found out blue rays are usually censored. Not to mention blue rays are encrypted like no other.
Don't forget to check those $7.88 blu ray bins too. I picked up The Fifth Element (remastered), Friday the 13th Uncut (1980) and Children of Men. I also grabbed The Day the Earth Stood Still (3 disc) for $9.99 because it had the original 1950's version on blu ray plus Prometheus movie cash. So win/win as far as I'm concerned.
Oh man Chris I have gone to Walmart so many times to get the new Blu Ray releases. I used to work there as well, so that was a perk. Although you made this way more entertaining then anything I have ever done getting some Blu Rays haha :) LOVE these updates!!
If you are still interested in the Bourne Trilogy on Blu-Ray. Best Buy has it for $39.99 and if you bring in a dvd you can trade it for $5 store credit towards a blu-ray. So you could essentially get it for $34.99. If you do not want to go that route Amazon.com has it for $29.49. Always check Amazon.com's prices before you go to a store because a lot of the time the DVD or Blu-Ray is way cheaper from Amazon.
Perhaps because it was marked down and because at that price it's a... well... bargain? Not only bad movies get marked down, you know? At some point everyone really interested in a movie already owns it (AKA market saturation) and they try to make the movie more attractive to people outside its core audience by lowering the price.
I watched What's Your Number too for Anna Faris! I totally do the moving movies to the front of a pile, I know it's snobbish but it's the only fun to have in a store!
3:44 actually, I have theory. I have gone shopping at Walmart for a specific movie before a couple times. I ask about it, and they say it's not there. Couple days later, I go in and see the movies I asked about. So they either have it in the back of the store and bring it out after said item was requested, or they order it with the next shipment for stocking. Either way, Wally world cares!
I love shopping for Blu Rays, im addicted crazily too buying them. 300 looks brilliant, that was my latest purchase. Matrix looks rly awesome as well. I hope you enjoy your purchasing.
the only (SMALL) downside to getting BRs in the mail is that the ones that come with slipcovers.the slipcover edges can be just a tiny bit wrinkled/squashed.
3:33 Walmart could be acting nice and making the good movie cheaper so you don’t have to pay more to see a better movie. Monetary VALUE of both films is what Chris is obviously talking about, but just thought I’d point that out.
Howard the Duck is awesome! Loved it as a kid and I still love it to this day. Lea Thompson as extremely sexy 80s punk rock chick, John Barry's epic score and the fantastic stop motion effects during the showdown alone are worth watching it. The rest isn't as bad as people make it out to be, either.
The good ole Wal-Mart DVD barrel. Filled with mostly stuff people never want to see. My only exception being Kick-Ass. Found that movie in there and it was awesome.
My 5 dollar barrel is more of crate but I still love it. I have found some really good movie's in there. I got The Devil Wears Prada, Beaches, School of Rock, Casino Royale, Juno, X-2, Shawshank Redemption, and Ferris Bueller's Day Off from there and I have to check every one I go to Wal Mart now :)
Holy shit! I just saw a perfectly good DVD of American History X in the bargain barrel! As a DVD collecter, seeing Chris pass that by an owed the crap out of me.
pleez make more of this videos i don't live in the usa but all of my blu rays are shipping from us so i miss the shopping in store for blurays thing so pleez do more .like your channel :)
I tried this in college. Most times the blu-rays weren't in the system until 2AM or so. I remember going for Fast Five, Scream 4 and The Lion King as they were releasing the same day I think.
Nice Vlog, sorry you didn't like "Howard the Duck" (I enjoyed it). Now that I know Uwe Boll directed "In the Name of the King 2" that's a movie I'd avoid. Look forward to the torture of "Dragonball:Evolution". Did you get a chance to watch the "G.I. Joe:Retaliation" trailer?
LOL, I was just about to suggest that you buy some of these movies on Amazon. That's honestly where I buy the majority of my movies; you can get almost everything cheaper on there. You probably already know, but the Bourne Trilogy Blu-Ray is going for 29.49 on Amazon.
3:27 - 3:32 HMV has prices like this sometimes. Today I bought Spirited Away for £9.99 and right behind the copy I bought, it was priced at £14.99, so I got a good deal on an amazing movie 👍🏻
@PapaB92 yes i played an old RUSH HOUR dvd on the blu ray player and it looked HD and star wars IV dvd looked HD...not exactly a blu ray but kinda like how itd be seen on HBO HD or somewhat better than regular
I think you should have taken In The Name of the King 2 and put it in the $5 movie barrel. Oh, and The Crow is awesome. But the similarities around Brondon Lee in that and Ldger in The Dark Knight are kind of eerie. Look into it to see what I mean.
Ha, you're pretty good when you're just improvising like that. Oh, and Howard the Duck to me is one of those "so bad that it's good"-films. Don't know if I'm the only one who feels like that. That being said, I kinda understand why Lucas is ashamed of it, compared to the bulk of the rest of his work.
Chris, I love ya buddy, but Monday after midnight IS Tuesday. lol
you right dude
People understand what Chris said more often. If you say Tuesday at midnight people will think Tuesday night
No person on the face of the earth says "it's Tuesday morning" at 12:01 am. It's Monday night, just as it was two minutes before.
Connor Webb
True. There’s a reason why the word night exists. Monday night makes a lot more sense
DAMMIT CHRIS
This video feels like it's from a parallel universe where Chris made Flick Trip videos and John made Quick Movie Reviews.
Imagine seeing him talking to himself at the store
Don't get scared now
You all prolly dont give a damn but does someone know a way to get back into an Instagram account..?

Wow Blurays are so cheap in the US. In my country a regular 5 year old movie on bluray is like $50
Which country?
+Matthew St Vincent Chile
the same in my country,blu-rays are so rare and they are so expensive
I always get them at amazon or ebay and just import them. it's cheaper than buying it locally. buy 3 or 4 at a time and you're set
+Pablo x (xkuruma) in my country one blue ray cost Rp. 600.000
Damn why does he look so different back then
+TheMarsGamer That is weird.
+TheMarsGamer He started working out.
He was creepy looking back in the day.
+Hank Hill that goes to Chris Pratt too XD
fcavalli true lmao
proof that there is hope for everyone
I'm go to Walmart on Tuesdays midnight to get blurays.
Channeling his inner flickpick
@destroyapro Ah you are correct! Loved that movie!
I really hope Chris does another one of these videos and brings his snappy dialouge. His 'Brandon Routh' commentary was hilarious!
It's Crazy how expensive Blu Ray's were 5 years ago. I remember buying the 2010 Remake of The Wolfman for $10 And thought it was an Amazing deal. Now you can get blu ray's for next to nothing. Times have changed.

More videos like this one
The editing and feel of this video so far feels like a RUclips Shorts video a decade before any other
That moment when you just watched the hilariocity review of Dragonball: Evolution and then accidentally end up here just to see that he had this vision, this urge so many years ago.
His least favourite movie for a reason
Would love to see more video hunts like this in the near future
@sfighter991 You keep commenting this same comment but I'm just playing in the vid clearly. This vid is nothing but jokes haha
Hey Chris
Chris you should go back to doing a couple of these shopping videos
It’s weird watching this now considering new Blu-rays at Walmart actually aren’t that overpriced anymore
Love it! I like that we got to go on a field trip with you. More please!
One of my favorite videos from Chris. 😂
4:17 man was ahead if his time
This was one of the funniest videos in a while. That Quantum of Solace thing had me cracking up...it's so true how Wal-mart does that. Great video, Chris.
it would be fun to see more of these shopping videos
these types of videos in addition to the reviews give some really interesting suggestions for what to collect on bluray
Chris hiding Howard the Duck should count as community service.
I wish he made more of these
Chris I’m sure you won’t see this but you should do more vlogs. This was entertaining
I was at my local Walmart and I found cowboy bebop I'm complete
This was absolutely awesome! I just couldn't stop laughing when Quantum Of Solace was 7.50 then you turn around and it's 5 bucks! Lmao! Yeah, these Walmart adventures are awesome.
Did you ever feel crazy in Walmart, at midnight, talking to yourself with a video camera?
Blu Rays so expensive in the US - Moneyball for $20 is a good deal!? it's like £2 in the Uk
lp
sff
You should see Ireland. DVDs here are the price of blu rays over there.
The Spanish Peruvian because this was released shortly after Moneyball came out. Movies usually go down in price the longer they’ve been out.
This def had a "flickpick" feel to it. Nice vid.
“If you go there Monday night, *after midnight”
We need this Chris in 2020 🙏😂
I usually pickup used DVDs at pawnshops
Robert Lewis Auchey Me too, or at Goodwill too.
I prefer DVD's to. I don't trust censor happy sony. I actually found out blue rays are usually censored. Not to mention blue rays are encrypted like no other.
I miss 24 hour walmart
Wish we could still do this!!! 😭
Got Dark Knight Rises 3 pack Blu Ray for $10 on e-bay brand new in AUS, go to a dvd store or convenience store its like $30, retail is almost dead.
I feel like I could watch you look at movies at Walmart all day and I would never be bored.
3:23 the reason quantum of solace was $2.50 cheaper was because one was the 2 disc set and the other was the single disc version.
I know you don't have an interest for DVDs but American history x was in that barrel and you didn't even give a mention.
Love this! I'd love to see more like this!
Oh man Chris, you need to watch The Crow. One of my all time favorites. Very stylistic and action packed.
Sadly, almost every Walmart I go to now don't have those $7.88 Bluray bins anymore.

Travis Likes Movies lord of the rings the two towers was as well
the quantum of solace was more expensive because it was the 2-disc edition.
I watched What's Your Number too for Anna Faris!
I totally do the moving movies to the front of a pile, I know it's snobbish but it's the only fun to have in a store!

if you have a video rental place, you can buy over stock in 3 weeks after release date. usually for half the original price.

I love shopping for Blu Rays, im addicted crazily too buying them. 300 looks brilliant, that was my latest purchase. Matrix looks rly awesome as well. I hope you enjoy your purchasing.
While watching this vid, I came to the conclusion that Kingsman: The Secret Service is the best movie ever.

Amazon preorders sometimes arrive the day before release. For the Evolution video you should hook it up to a battery and give it OVER 9000! volts.
I know this is five yrs old but it's cool that the dvd bin is 3.47 now
Brandon Routh is actually doing pretty good. He’s in Arrow, The Flash and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow as Ray Palmer/The Atom.
