they have no choice to take anyone they can find because they don't pay them enough once they figure out they can make more money elsewhere they leave. It's a vicious circle
No. Most are not even a company..since the taped up DOT#'s on the side of the truck. Paper licence plates started with trucks and now cars even have them. Outlaws! God damn!😂❤🎉
It's not just guys in the container trucks. I've smacked 2 lowboy trailers. 1 had a bulldozer the size of a house which caused both locomotives to rollover taking 23 cars with us. he pulled out in front of us when we were moving 58 mph.. second accident is literally on RUclips showing us smacking a truck with a large farm tractor that high centered.. had a 17,000 ton coal load that took 4,900ft to stop

I used to live in Auguats and I know where these tracks are and the train here goes pretty slow no more than 25 mph if that. So the guy who is involve as a truck driver either was not paying attention or doing something worst. The Train always has the right away no matter what because there were no roads here long ago and it took presence back then as it does today!
It will take a while, but I'll try to do a follow up once the investigation is published. Aside from the obvious crossing gates, there is also a posted do not stop on tracks sign. Another truck at Club Car factory was hit a year ago or so. Not as rare as it should be.
It’s becoming more Apparent the Reason there is such a huge truck driver shortage is because CDL is Revoked when these Accidents routinely occur with Trains.
99% sure he meant feather the independent. soon as they released the automatic to recharge the air they started rolling. so they'd have to make a minimum set on the automatic, then feather and bail off the independent.. to tug it along or hold it back. Not an easy thing to do moving that slow. halfway through they could possibly use dynamics
Dispatcher knew his sh*t.
Excellent video
Thank you.
Damned container truck. Those companies will hire anyone. You walk in and tell them you might know how to drive a truck and you're hired

As a resident of Augusta GA. These folks do not know how to drive.

Thats the same place where that tanker train derailed 5 years ago
Are you referring to the NS derailment in Bartow, Georgia? That was about 50 miles south, but yeah, not too far from here.
In this case and the one at Club Car the truck broke down.
I hadn't heard that. Thanks for the info.

Cut to the chase... Nobody wants to see you drive and fill your gas tank
They should Eliminate Railroad Crossings to Bridges
Eliminate over 100, 000 crossings? right!
