Personally, the design would not be flattering on me, BUT it actually looks adorable on you!! And the company did an AMAZING job at making what you designed!! I really want to try this!!!
My sister's wedding is coming up (hopefully) next October. This looks like a really neat way for the three of us bridesmaids to get the same colour dress (burgundy/wine red) but still get a dress that compliments our shapes and styles, since my sister said she doesn't want our dresses to be matching in style, only in colour (which is really cool considering the three of us are quite diverse in our body shapes lol). And the price seems super reasonable for a custom - I wouldn't normally spend over $100 on a dress off the rack, but for the amount of material and the quality and the hours of labour, it seems a very fair price! (Also, a tea-length is typically considered falling 3-4 inches below the knee OR as long as 3-4 inches above the ankle, so it does look like that one is a little short)
Although not custom, I got my bridesmaids dress for a friends wedding from David’s Bridal, they had stores in US & UK so we could match colours even across the seas and all could choose our own styles. Mine was about £150 but there were cheaper and more expensive options !
I'm really impressed for how well it matched your request and still was just $200, you can spend that much easily in a store for a similar off the rack dress.
This would be so fun for you to design your wedding dress as well. Personally when I get married, I want a more elaborate dress and every video I’ve seen from companies like this, the person does just a simple design. I would be interested to see a more elaborate design come to life from a company like this.
Hey I saw this and had to tell you about a company called anomalie! They do custom design gowns! I had my wedding dress made by them and it’s everything I could have wanted
I’ve heard of Anomalie. I just haven’t seen anyone do anything on the more elaborate side. I consider myself a princess and I want my dress to reflect that. Would love to see Mia do something more elaborate or create her dream dress.
I think that "tea length" is a term that is a little ambiguous. I normally think of a dress this length, but I can see why she was surprised. The tea length dresses she gets from Teuta Matoshi are always much closer to her ankles.
It is, when I got married I had tea as my bridal shower (just my mum, sister, and grandmother) because it was something my euro grandmother would like and yes the dresses were longer.
No this is below the knee, not Tea Length. Tea Length is much closer to mid calf, this is below the knee, you see her whole calf. Other than that though, super cute dress!
Someone's probably already said this but I think it would be amazing to see you design a wedding dress using this service!! Wedding dresses can be suuuper expensive especially for custom designs, so i would be super curious to see what sort of wedding dress would be possible through this service and what the price and quality would be like xx
OMG!! This is such a cool idea. The dress you designed is gorgeous. It was a bit short for what I think a tea length would be but honestly looked great on you!! Have fun at your event.
It’s definitely shorter than tea length, but it looks great with that length. I think that price is really cheap for what you got. They did an amazing job and made exactly what you asked for.
I love the concept, and it’s kind of a perfect idea for a bridesmaids dress. I actually think the lilac and white combo in your mock-up would have been killer on you.
the price is so reasonable considering people spend $300+ on prom dresses, not even custom designed or tailored! And it looked stunning, just like what you asked for
Mia! That design is not random, it's fun it's classic, it's so pretty! I don't like how you were second-guessing your vision... I'd love a dress like that, any day. You did a great job. You're going to get so many compliments on it, you'll see. It's fun, it's classy, it's a great looking dress!
the dress came out so good, Mia! I would definitely want to see more videos like this, but with more elaborate design with more elements like sequins 👀
Okay, I love this. The color, shear fabric, collar, and skirt volume it spot on. I do have two critiques. First is the buttons(snaps,) I'm not sure if you discussed this or not in the designing process but they are low quality and something more decorative would have suited the design better. You could easily fix the button issue by replacing the snaps with eyehooks, metal snaps or by adding actual buttons to the front whether they are ornamental or functunal. Second, you were right, the length is too short, it really should be another couple of inches longer to be tea length. That being said even though it's a touch short it still looks amazing on you. I adore a dress with sleeves, if I ever need a custom dress made I will definitely try this website out. I would love to see you do this again for another wedding maybe...
Oooo it's so green!!! It's like a St Patrick's day dress. I kinda wanna see more, pretty interested in trying this site out myself. Also I'm actually blown away, the dress was half as expensive as I thought it was gonna be.
Mia! Thank you so much! It’s been over a year ago since I’ve had this app in my favorites hoping one day to use it. Now it’s finally time! I’m getting my dream wedding dress custom made. Mia really I couldn’t do this without you. If I hadn’t watched your video a year ago I would be so lost. I’m so ecstatic. I’m doing this!
love the dress, Mia. For me, I would change the basic buttons into green pearl buttons just to add a little detail. But that's just me my preference. hehe.
MIA. You should do this for your wedding dress! You should go out and try on a ton, figure out the types of things u like, and have them make u a dress perfect for YOU!
I am OBSESSED with that color green. Everything I own is practically that color. That is ADORABLE. I may be biased because I love the color but that dress is so freaking cute. All of it.
It's so pretty! You did a great job with your design, it's definitely "you" and adorable with the collar and mesh details - gorgeous too in that color especially. I think they hit the nail on the head with your design, photos, and sketch. Nice job all the way around. I think the price was great for a custom dress and would use the site myself!
Honestly I was worried when you were designing the dress as I just didn't understand the design (I knew what you were going for, but I couldn't understand why you were going for it) and I was worried that a green mesh would make skin look duller, but I was more than blown away by the finished dress. You look absolutely stunning in it! The collar doesn't feel weird at all and looks really sharp, especially with the ends of the sleeves tying it together. If I was a fan of mesh sleeves irl, I'd probably buy this dress!!
The poofiness makes the hem fall a bit higher than you'd expect. This is where just providing measurements and not being there in person for a consult canbe problematic. For formal dresses if you want to shorten the hem without chopping it off (e.g. it's a wedding dress that you want to hand down to your daughter but she might grow up taller than you) the most common method to "raise" the hem is to add ruffles or a crinoline under the dress if the design permits. If you want to lengthen the hem of a poofy dress but have no matching fabric to add to the dress you remove some of the poof.
The dress is so beautiful! One thing that might make it cuter depending on your taste is to add decorative buttons to the strip of fabric under the collar. Personally I feel like pearls would be cute.
MIA!!! This is honestly one of my favorite dresses you’ve shown on your channel and you designed it! It’s unique and quite flattering with an unconventional color choice. I would love to see more dress designs!
I love your videos so much Mia!!! I also love that you are giving back to charities every video :) I would love if you could explain a bit more about each one in the videos since they all are so special to people. That would be awesome!
This is so cool!! I’d never heard of this brand before! I’d love to see you design something a little more detailed/fancy like a wedding dress. I’m also interested to know how the dress you design effects the price. Like, would this be a good way to have a unique and fairly inexpensive wedding dress that’s good quality? Thank you for sharing Mia! ❤️❤️❤️

Your new apartment is sooo cute!! I’m obsessed with the pink shelf!! And I think the dress would be so cute in navy blue without the sleeves! Overall I’m actually super impressed with the website they should honestly sponsor you!
They did a great job based on what you sent and described. The length is definitely questionable as a "tea" length, it should be a bit longer. The picture of the dress's topv overlay seemed a bit more softer and less structured than how yours came out Cute style none the less.
Oh my goodness, I started the chapter of Doctors without Borders at my university in undergrad and it's so cool to see that you're donating to it in this video! It's truly an amazing organization and I wish more people knew about it!
I’d love to see this again! Definitely a longer version where we get to see the design process and submitting the design!! And one where instagram helps pick the design!!
I think it looks great! I'm impressed by the fit and how well they matched the dress to the design. I love that they used a nice amount of fabric, so it has lots of volume. I love the idea of a custom dress, especially since I'm petite and it can be hard to find clothes that fit well. It's a really fun video idea and It'd be cool to see more custom dresses. Maybe one where the inspo is celebrity or designer inspired dresses, and see if they can recreate it.
It looks great, what the heck! They made it exact to the style and design you wanted and yes, you should always give yourself extra allowance for fitting because we fluctuate. I'd be interested in working with them for a dress although I don't know how well dresses suit my short stature 😂
They did a really good job and I think they captured your exact image... I think that you'd like it more in a lighter color like a sage green or even that pastel purple since the concept is a little "out there" for you but overall amazing job and a good price for something entirely customized.
The reveal!!!! I was literally shook and amazed like with the heels you did justice to that amazing and poofy dress ✨ You designed it so well Mia love you as always ❤️✨
Honestly I absolutely love that dress and think they designed it exactly like you asked! Would love to see you do another dress but a more elaborate one! Maybe you could design a wedding dress and show us the process. It doesn't have to be your dress but just for fun and then you could donate it after like you like to do or give it away to a follower whose getting married too. 💚
You inspire me to be truly grateful and enjoy the simple things and moments in life. Thank you for your videos and sweet personality and all that you do for us. I needed these videos so much. God knew we needed someone like you. You are my hero 🥺🤍
The dress looks great! I think the only thing they may have missed was that you wanted the tulle over the bodice instead of behind. But either way it looks great!
This is so cool! Like they made you dress from scratch and offered consultation! At that price point too?! I've never bought a fancy dress before, but I have trouble finding clothes in the shops. If I had enough lead time for an event, I might check this out
I think they did a good job, but I do wish we could have seen something more elaborate, that way we could see their handwork on lace detailing and beading. Great video!! (Maybe next time you can have them make an insane red carpet look or something)
Thank you so much Mia! Getting the perfect dress for a good price is so hard, now I know where I will be getting my wedding dress from, as my idea is so specific that it would be hard to find a dress that fits all my wishes! And they ship worldwide for free if it's over 149$ I think! I am so happyyyyyy

I'm honestly so surprised with how it turned out ! That dress is simply beautiful and I would 100% wear it to a wedding :)
MIA. You should do this for your wedding dress! You should go out and try on a ton, figure out the types of things u like, and have them make u a dress perfect for YOU!
It’s really beautiful and would really pop with your hair styled up or the sides back. That collar shouldn’t compete with your hair. Love it!!!
It's GORGEOUS! Those sleeves! The skirt! The collar! Everything! Love love!!!!
I am OBSESSED with that color green. Everything I own is practically that color. That is ADORABLE. I may be biased because I love the color but that dress is so freaking cute. All of it.
I honestly absolutely adore this dress. You did a great job designing, and they did an awesome job making it. Absolutely gorgeous
Mia!!! You should do a video where your mom and fiancé play “who knows Mia best”. I’m betting your mom does!!
It could be cool if they both try to design Mia a dress based on her tastes to see which one she likes best!
She already said this on instagram! So it'll probably be here soon. :)
In the beginning of every video she says it’s going to be an exciting video... she’s always right
Lol my favourite intro
You should do another one but have your subscribers vote on each aspect of the dress through Instagram polls so we can kind of design a dress together
I feel like this dress fits you so well, not just the way it looks but also personality wise? I love it!
Mia!!! This dress is freaking adorable and suits you so well. The green is so different and fun. Goes well with your skin tone!
That dress is so cute!!
The dress looks amazing, they did such a great job!
If you want to lengthen the hem of a poofy dress but have no matching fabric to add to the dress you remove some of the poof.
yeah it took me like four years to realize i couldn’t find pants that fit cause i was measuring the wrong place for my hips
You are very clever☺️
Yeah, I would say with this it's almost better to ask for it to be longer than you want, and get it hemmed.
The dress is so beautiful! One thing that might make it cuter depending on your taste is to add decorative buttons to the strip of fabric under the collar. Personally I feel like pearls would be cute.
Oooh, yes! Pearl buttons would look really nice!
Tea length is right below the knees. This really looks spot on. And OMG its gorgeous Mia!
your mom saying hi after you said height was the cutest thing
Honestly, the price is not bad at all when you think about the process to make it! And it came out looking amazing!!
The dress has “work zoom meeting at 2pm and Christmas ball at 8pm” vibes 😂
Love it though!!
MIA!!! This is honestly one of my favorite dresses you’ve shown on your channel and you designed it! It’s unique and quite flattering with an unconventional color choice. I would love to see more dress designs!
When you were holding it I was like “oh idk about this one” but then you put it on and my jaw dropped!!! It’s SO cute!!!!!
I love your videos so much Mia!!! I also love that you are giving back to charities every video :) I would love if you could explain a bit more about each one in the videos since they all are so special to people. That would be awesome!
I feel like this could be a good site for designing an actual wedding dress. 😍
I’d like to see how they’d do a wedding dress but I guess we’ll have to wait until after her wedding now!
I was looking into doing this for my wedding dress but I was skeptical on how well it would turn out. This is spot on for what you told them.
i'd love to see this as a series!! it'd be so fun to watch. Also, the dress looks SO good. I would love a dress like that.
I LOVE the design. I don't think I've ever seen these elements together before, but they definitely work. Beautiful!!
That would be an amazing Christmas party dress. It's adorable.
The dress looks so cool!
You should totally test out more websites where you can design your own dress and do to some more complicated designs too! 😉
Honestly this would be so cool for designing your own wedding dress.
Kinda fun :D
I had the exact same idea that a company like this would be amazing for designing your own wedding dress! 😊
Your new apartment is sooo cute!! I’m obsessed with the pink shelf!! And I think the dress would be so cute in navy blue without the sleeves! Overall I’m actually super impressed with the website they should honestly sponsor you!
It’s gorgeous! I love how the color kind of matches your hair! In my opinion really compliments it!
I LOOOOOOVE your design! The sheer, the collar, the color... All are awesome!
The dress Mia designed is absolutely stunning. Would love to see more designer dresses
It looks great, what the heck! They made it exact to the style and design you wanted and yes, you should always give yourself extra allowance for fitting because we fluctuate. I'd be interested in working with them for a dress although I don't know how well dresses suit my short stature 😂
I LOVE the design of this!! The wedding dress I fell in love with has a collar and pockets. This dress is gorgeous! 😍
Hey, I was just checking out the website and they have a pre-made dress that looks exactly like the one that you designed!
Absolutely stunning! Such a unique dress. I love the color, the mesh, and the collar! I love everything about it.
They did a really good job and I think they captured your exact image... I think that you'd like it more in a lighter color like a sage green or even that pastel purple since the concept is a little "out there" for you but overall amazing job and a good price for something entirely customized.
The reveal!!!! I was literally shook and amazed like with the heels you did justice to that amazing and poofy dress ✨
You designed it so well Mia love you as always ❤️✨
Please do a part 2!!!😀 I love these kinds of videos
Your dress is amazing! I love it!
Fantastic design choice which was well executed (especially from an amateur sketch)!
ohhh I love the new vibe of the new studio!!!!! AMAZING! It‘s crazy to see the old one compared to the new one … it‘s a whole other vibe🥰😍
This is so cool! They did a great job making your design come to life!
What a lovely dress! You did a great job in designing it and choosing the perfect color.
Amazing video Mia 💕🫶🏽💕!!
I love the dress! I'd instantly wear them to anywhere I'd go, the colour is my favourite and the style is beautiful, you designed it really well Mia.
You inspire me to be truly grateful and enjoy the simple things and moments in life. Thank you for your videos and sweet personality and all that you do for us. I needed these videos so much. God knew we needed someone like you. You are my hero 🥺🤍
Oh my goodness this warmed my heart, thank you so so much 🥲💖
i love it!! you could do another round of this and order a few (and make a few) and prank mama maples, your dad, or your fiancé!!
YESSSSSS
The dress looks great! I think the only thing they may have missed was that you wanted the tulle over the bodice instead of behind. But either way it looks great!
I love this!! The dress is exactly what you wanted! Make this a series please. 🤩
I am in LOVE with this skirt! The dress looks great on you and the colour is almost ethereal!
11/10
This is so cool! Like they made you dress from scratch and offered consultation! At that price point too?! I've never bought a fancy dress before, but I have trouble finding clothes in the shops. If I had enough lead time for an event, I might check this out
I think they did a good job, but I do wish we could have seen something more elaborate, that way we could see their handwork on lace detailing and beading. Great video!! (Maybe next time you can have them make an insane red carpet look or something)
Looks really beautiful but you’re correct that it’s too short for tea length. But I think I like the length better shorter. It suits you more!
Your hair color, the color of the dress, and the shoes all look so perfect together! I love it!
