Probably the best thing about this wah is how heavy duty it is. This thing will not move at all when you put it down. You can jump on this wah and do a spin jump off of it (if you want to be crazy) and it won't tip or slide AT ALL. 😂
I've got some very cool sounds out of this thing despite not really understanding its features. I just set the knob at the middle position because it seemed the most versatile and a while ago i played along to Rain When I Die at open mic and you can audibly hear people in the video recording being amazed and fascinated by the wah 😂
Excellent video Jon!!! The intro was sublime. You can’t beat a Dunlop. It was my first wah years ago and I couldn’t get a sound out of it. That is until someone pointed out to me that I needed a battery 😂😂😂😂 This puns sounds fantastic in your hands 😃👍❤️
Hi Jonathan, I was smiling with you as you played today, it looked like you were having a blast. I loved it sooo much. I thought you were going to break the tremolo arm…hehe. Many Thanks. Cheers ✌️🎸💜
Based partly on Jon's review, and that he clearly adores it and it was his main axe for a while, I bought one this year. I thought I would hate the EMGs and was really just checking out the neck, intending to buy a Luke III HH but actually I fell in love with those EMG actives. They sound vintage with the volume rolled off a little, modern with the volume closer to 10. The humbucker has the output to scream, but again, roll off the volume and it does lovely PAF things. Lastly, the humbucker does NOT split in position 2, giving the instrument a very cool take on a classic tone- it's not stratty, it's not Tele, it's not Gibson either. You get a little of that strat quack but a load of HB fullness too. It's a unique voice I use far more than I ever did on a strat.
Jon, never experienced wah pedal yet. Is it hard to use and how long does it take to get used to it? I am only 1.5 years into guitar learning :). But I loved this pedal, and love wah pedals nowadays... One day I might go for one :P... Very nice demo, it couldn't be better! Thanks.
Hello Jon! I am using Amplitube 5. There is also Wah pedals inside, and I am not sure how I am suppose to control them. I can't find a USB Wah/Volume pedal on the market. Do you know how I can control them? And Second question, would this beautiful pedal work with plugins? If I plug my guitar into this pedal then to Interface? Will it work properly? Greetings!
@@JonIsJustTooLoud Thank you. :) I think I'll be getting the Standard version, GCM95. It also sounds pretty nice, I like the mid-range based sound, and it's 88 Euro. Thanks!

And when he did review that Luke, I'd love to see the teacher's opinion.

Yes brother.. it will work guitar- Wah- interface. To use the Wah inside the amplitude.. you need a controller pedal which runs on MIDI ✌️❤️
