Hello Lovelies... I am your school nurse. Today i will be giving you your routine bloods but you are really scared of needles so i help comfort you & reassure you that there is nothing to be afraid of. I have had a lot of people asking me for a video to help them with their fear of needles so i thought i would make a school nurse video where i help you overcome your fear. I hope this helps relax you & helps you enjoy x *Please like & Subscribe!*

@Milo Bentlee Thanks so much for your reply. I found the site thru google and im waiting for the hacking stuff now. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
As someone who hates needles, I would love a nurse to be this kind and understanding about it! I was hesitant about the video even seeing needles in the title but I'm so glad I clicked - you're such a calming and warm person and it really comes through here.
I was absolutely terrified of needles in secondary school and I remember the school nurse telling me to stop being silly when I had a panic attack. they wouldn't let me put headphones in as a distraction or anything. I wish my experience was more like this one, this was such a lovely video :)
Eden - im so sorry :( that sounds so traumatic!!! never be afraid to speak up about it when you go to the doctors!! i hope that you dont come into contact with mean nurses like that anymore :(
They told me to stop being silly and when I couldn't come out the panic attack sent me away and made a big deal I got made to go down to the surgery to get it done and it was the same ppl and they were worse tha before
True Story. A nurse drew blood from me when I was a kid and jabbed me so hard that she must've cut a nerve in my arm and I have no sensation on my left forearm. So roleplays about needles are actually relaxing because of your approach with it.
I’m 13 and have never really had a fear of needles, we actually had injections a few weeks before the schools shut down in the UK 😂 but I definitely wish that the nurse had been more kind and relaxing than so dismissive and not talking at all, this is such a lovely video 💓
hey, i’m going through hypnotherapy now due to trauma i had as a young child when the nurses messed up a blood test, and struggle not to have panic attacks at even just the MENTION of an injection. i had my first session today and already i don’t freak out at the thought of it, so thanks for making this since after each session i can attempt to watch and track my progress. hopefully after a couple sessions i’ll be able to get right the way through this and be okay :)
Wow…I didn’t realize needle ASMR could be so calming, tingly inducing, and relaxing…I’ve been semi-scared of needles my whole life, even the mere word injection gave me horrible fear and anxiety, and I’m 28 years old and finally found something calming instead of panic attack inducing… thank you for your work, it’s amazing 🥲
Not to divulge into my personal life here on an ASMR video and I don't have a fear of needles, but... I do have bad depression that is currently really acting up with me badly. And watching this gave me comfort. The way you seemed genuinely concerned and caring was very nice to watch, even though I know it was only acting for the video, but it still felt good. It makes me not want to give up and things maybe aren't so bad. I can make it another day. Thanks for the video. 🌹🌹
@@BeBraveBeYouASMR1 Thank you very much. I know you really do care. I didn't word that exactly right. I know it isn't all just acting. I can tell you really do care. ❤️ I also liked your recent video for mental health. It honestly was very realistic, too and reminds me of when I had to go into the mental hospital for suicidal stuff in the past. I love your videos a lot. Thanks. 🌹🌹
I'm so tired and I get so many recommendations for ASMR videos, that this and another video's title blended together and for a moment I thought it said 'Face Injections - Helping you with your fear of needles', which would have been a whole different video! Never the less, wonderful video as always :D
Currently trying to get through this video & needed to pause it at 22:07 because my anxiety is getting the best of me. Not even you can help me with my fear of needles. 30 years old & I’m admitting I still have an irrational fear of needles. May have to play this without actively watching it to get through to the end. Someone please pray I don’t cry from fear while watching this! 🙏
Be Brave Be You ASMR I think I anticipate the pain too much before anything actually happens. When I was getting my wisdom teeth out, the nurse was on the opposite side of the room, I took one look at the needle and broke down in tears. Don’t remember how long it took me to calm down before she was able to stick it in. (I had to be completely knocked out to remove them since none had come in.) This happened about 10 years ago now, but I’ve always had an issue with needles. Also hate thunderstorms and spiders. Tried watching an ASMR video with thunder in the background and that didn’t go very well either. Had to stop watching the video completely. I guess I’m just not ready to concur these fears yet.
I kinda wish nurses were actually that nice when you're deathly afriad of needles. I used to be terrified of needles and everyone would just yell at me instead of help. Fears do exist 🙄
I’ve been afraid of needles ever since the 4th grade, I’m turning 14 this year and my fear of needles has only gotten worse. Worse to the point where I’m on the floor begging my parents to not make me get the flu shot. I’ve dealt with way worse pain than a needle, like dislocating my jaw, and literally having my entire toenail ripped off but, needles are my biggest fear. Though there is a possibility that my fear of injections is caused by my GAD. Anyway, TL;DR, this was pretty comforting! Not comforting enough for me to be completely fine with needles but, very helpful. Thank you😊
This is exactly my problem!! But i can go through this fine but when i actually think about ME getting blood work or a shot I seriously wanna vomit!😭😭😭
I also have to get my high school shots soon and i am freaking out !!😭 does anyone have any tips? I don't think listening to music or watching a video Will be enough bit I have no idea what else to do!!!!! I am also terrified that if the nurse in rude or rushing that i will strate on bolt out of there!!!😫😫😫
It’s like you read my mind! I’ve had the worst fear of needles since I was a kid. I can’t wait to watch this and try and working on it. Thank you for the amazing upload!
I think the fear of needles is the fear of pain rather than a needle itself. Never understood this fear, the waiting time and uncertainty is much more scary in my opinion.
For me the fear comes partly from me being forced to take a bloodsample as a kid.. My mum held me down to make me sitt still, a nurse held my arm and another took the bloodsample.. The other part is not the fear of pain but the feeling of the needle penetrating the skin and then pulling out blood.. I want the blood to stay in my arm 😂, it feels highly invasive to me for some reason. 😬 Or if its an injection its the penetration and then inserting something.. It just feels invasive 🤷🏼♀️ But I love getting tattooed.. 😂
Yeah but for me it’s particularly stabbing or penetration of the skin that bothers me. I’m not crying over the fear of being punched or falling and scraping my knees, but I’ve had breakdowns when having to get a shot, when I thought I had a cavity and might need a filling, when I got my wisdom teeth out, and when I got my implant birth control. I’m also scared of broken glass and splinters.
This video is gonna be great practise for me to watch. I actually stopped breathing and tensed up when you "gave the injections".. I loved to get compliments for doing great after, I felt proud and like I accomplished something.. 😂 Thank you so much for this ❤️
Annnd cue tears. Deathly terrified of needles. Cry and scream, pitch a fit everytime I go in but I can’t help it. So embarrassing to be the university student who ends up having a panic attack and crying for her mumma during the injections. It's videos like this that bring comfort, so thank you. ❤
I never thought it was possible for someone to remember something from years ago, but being able to remember being restrained by 3 doctors and getting stabbed with needles for a blood test and your normal shots at the same time still makes me have panic attacks when I see, let alone think of needles. My parents told me that those doctors were fired for not giving a 4 year old a break from those needles, and now thanks to them, I'm traumatized by doctors. This vid actually kinda helped my fear a bit!
I love this roleplay even though I'm not scared of needles. The nurse who does our injections says I'm the most casual person she sees when it comes to jabs at school!

Always enjoyable...I have watched many other ASMR videos by others but there is nobody else as dedicated to professionalism and creativity as you are. This is not an easy thing to do and I've seen many others have not succeeded where you have. Doing simply finger tapping or other triggers are not enough. But, you entertain your audience and they respond positive and refreshed. Sorry to rant but, I really look forward to these videos to help me relax and fall asleep ...continue to stay safe and God bless!😊
This is such a well done video! Would you ever consider doing a part two for this video? Maybe about the part where you were talking about having another session? You obviously don’t have to, just a thought! This video really helped me with going to the doctor’s the other day. Thank you ❤️
yeah, I don’t really vividly remember any from being in primary school (ages 4-11), I’m sure we must have had some at some point, but I remember having more in high school (ages 12-16). I seem to remember having booster injections but I clearly remember having a cervical cancer injection at aged 14 in high school and a follow up at age 16 at school again. Also, at my college (ages 16-18) they ran a meningitis b injection experiment, so they did 2 or three rounds of injections at college
also though, schools in the uk don’t really have school nurses, or atleast I haven’t experienced it. Quite a lot of staff have first aid training so they’ll be the first ones to respond in an emergency and then they’ll get emergency services (ambulance) involved if necessary. For injections, six or seven nurses come into the school and give the injections throughout the day
I remember lining up waiting to go into the hall room to have the BCG injection at secondary school (which isn't even administered in schools anymore, so I feel old) and getting called over to one of the nurses.
I'll have to admit. It's Thursday now, and on Monday I have to go in for my Covid vaccine. I was so scared that even listening to music didn't help at all. But when I saw the needle, and you talking about you being in control of the needle, my nerves started to go away. I think I may request my nurse to show me the needle, because when I had a blood draw and I looked at her doing the procedure, the nerves went away. Thank you so much for this video! You are amazing and "magical," if you will.
I’m going to watch this video when I get my jabs next week! I’m petrified of needles and have to get 2 next week and my anxiety is getting rlly and towards the day so will definitely watch this as you calmed my anxiety down sooooo much ❤️❤️
U are so sweet, you really have a beautiful soul! ❤️ Always so calming, beautiful and relaxing. Makes me so safe and all anexity disappear when I’m here 😘😘😘
I really love this video! Although when you first took out the needle and right before you did the shots I got butterflies in my stomach and kinda started panicking, but anyhow, this is probably the best one of the helping with your fear of needles videos I've seen. You should do another one sometime.
To the people who have/had shots in school: did the school tell your parents before hand? What kind of shots were they? I've never gotten shots in school just at my personal doctor. So I'm just curious🤗 sending love to you all ❤
The school did. I didn't remember much but when I was 13 it was an injection for all the girls to avoid servic cancer (?)I think. We took that injection 3 times in a year and when I was 15 it was a shot to avoid C something but it has a relation with teeth.
Yes they did tell our parents beforehand and we got one for COVID and two others which I don’t remember. What was it like you ask? It was hell. She took the bloody needle and slammed it into our arms without hesitation. Didn’t even say a word except “Next” to call in the next person😂
This comment section makes me feel validated, Since some of my family members act like I want to have phobias and anxiety, One of them one time after getting their covid vaccine told me “See [my name), It’s not that hard”, and I remember saying back “I hate myself”.. Sometimes I wish people was more validating
I wish some medical professionals were this understanding your such a lovely caring person. I have a massive fear of medical procedures including needles and get myself hysterical. Covid jabs were a nightmare for me as I start panicking and getting hot then I feel sick and that makes me even worse. I find the trick is to lie down then I don’t panic and relax and look away.
@@BeBraveBeYouASMR1 I keep watching your video to remind myself that I’m okay and it will only hurt for a few seconds. I’m having bloods on Friday and going to watch this before I go to try and calm myself down. Got a ECG before hand so test for me to keep calm having not one but two medical tests.
Story time: So when I was in 3rd Grade I had a big phobia as needles and One time I was at school and we were getting flu shots when I was getting mine and I told my school. Nurse I had a phobia of it all she said is "oh you dont know what's a phobia also ur over reacting" She grabbed my arm and was about to inject me and soon as the damn tip of the needle touched my arm I moved my arm away that made the needle fly across the room and break into pieces and the medicine liquid pouring out I yelled at her "you don't understand" I ran out of the room and went to class at the end of the day I went home and told my parents everything.... After a few weeks the nurse was fired and gotten a new nurse who was better and she had to give me the flu-shot and she calm me down from anxiety and fear from the needles and she made me close my eyes and I past out but when I woke up I found out that she injected me while I was passed out and welp she became my favorite school nurse I ever met...... I still have a fear of needles but I'm trying to get used to it....
I’m a nursing student in the making and I’ve only recently have noticed I’ve started to get really anxious and uneasy around needed which is strange LOL I passed out before giving blood once like last year actually this is so nice though :,)
Imagine if all school nurses were like this. Mine just made us form a line and one by one we would get the needle slammed into our arms. She didn’t even say a word except “Next” to call in the next person in line.
I had to get my HPV injection just before lockdown and I have the biggest phobia of needles I was having anxiety about it the whole month leading up to it I wish the nurse that did it was as nice as you I went in and she just jabbed it in my arm so hard thanks to her I’m still terrified of needles but your video helped me a little thank you 😊
Primary school was so weird, we literally had to line up by class and get injections in basically an assembly line 😂. I would jump so much that they had to go in for 2 or 3 tries. Now as an adult I can put on headphones to relax before I get injected
@@Therealshabbosqueen Haha right! Yup, just reminded me of her is all. Greetings from Western Australia to wherever you are. I hope you have a wonderful day/evening.
i'm getting my meningitis vaccine booster tomorrow and i'm really nervous, i don't even have a fear of needles, it just makes me feel icky when they go into my skin but this video is helping me calm down so much - thank you for what you do
Hi thus sounds stupid but I am 14 and I have the biggest panic attacks one I ran out of the room crying cause I was soo scared but when I had my last injections I listened to this and I did it I still cried but I wasn't as scared TYSM YOUR AMAZING
I know that it was a year ago but maybe sb will hear me😂 It would be great to have this type of video another time. Like if it is after a week, talking in medical office and getting one vaccine of the test, that was made third. It is really great video ✨
i honestly don't know why I'm still scared of needles, every time I go to a hospital appointment it always involves a blood test and I'm going again in September, the day I go back to school and if my mum asks about a certain thing that might be wrong with me it will probably involve a blood test and when I went to the doctors and i had a really bad experience because the doctor couldn't find a place to put the needle in so she had to put the needle in the other arm and I also had to have a blood test in one arm and then i had my jabs in the other arm. and watching this video i started crying.
I'm just saying because I have a really bad fear of needles but I know I need to get it done and I recommend buying a shot blocker, it actually helps me and I think it will help you (hopefully it does)
Wow oh wow this was amazing loved this i wish someone done it like this with me due me autism i need the visual stuff so that is amazing and unique your ace . Your so awesome at acting and such . I love how caring you come across it really makes me feel like ur right there u know . I had real bad needle experiences. Like i used to have to be held down brybed with sweets and even had to be sent away and come back to try again for the needles 😂😂 #sensoryissues Thanks for being amazing love ya nic ur awesome . I would wonder could u do some more mum rps? I wish u were my school nurse lol u would b ace 💙 hope you and your family is well.
I am getting my blood drawn tomorrow and I’m terrified. It always makes me sick to my stomach. And I am also afraid of throwing up so that doesn’t help.
There would always be this one kid who went around punching others straight after getting the injection, like for ya girls our HPV injections boys used to punch us right in the area we had it done, but luckily I’m an adult now and don’t ever have to go to school again 💁🏻♀️

I have had a major fear and anxiety of needles and wotching your videos help me to realise that there is nothing to be sceard of
😃🤗🙏 amazing 💞
This is such a well done video! Would you ever consider doing a part two for this video? Maybe about the part where you were talking about having another session? You obviously don’t have to, just a thought! This video really helped me with going to the doctor’s the other day. Thank you ❤️
Do school nurses give injections in the UK??? - an American
RIGHT our nurses just give us bandaids and icebags
yeah, I don’t really vividly remember any from being in primary school (ages 4-11), I’m sure we must have had some at some point, but I remember having more in high school (ages 12-16).
For injections, six or seven nurses come into the school and give the injections throughout the day
Yes I had injections at school. Not sure if it was by a school nurse or someone came in. I can't remember. We don't really have school nurses here.
How was it?
@@BeBraveBeYouASMR1 It went fine, thanks for asking.
You remind of Jane from Tarzan when she was teaching him how to be human
That'd be a good idea for a roleplay!
Hmm good idea
I’m going to watch this video when I get my jabs next week! I’m petrified of needles and have to get 2 next week and my anxiety is getting rlly and towards the day so will definitely watch this as you calmed my anxiety down sooooo much ❤️❤️
You’ve got this! 💗
Very good videos, you are a great, calm and relaxing nurse. These vids help me relax.
you literally helped me write part of a novel. thank you Nicola
Injection appointment turned into a therapy session 😂❤
U are so sweet, you really have a beautiful soul! ❤️ Always so calming, beautiful and relaxing. Makes me so safe and all anexity disappear when I’m here 😘😘😘
Thank you so much 😃
I really love this video! Although when you first took out the needle and right before you did the shots I got butterflies in my stomach and kinda started panicking, but anyhow, this is probably the best one of the helping with your fear of needles videos I've seen. You should do another one sometime.
🤗🤗🤗🤗
I love your videos is exactly what I need in this quarantine🌟
To the people who have/had shots in school: did the school tell your parents before hand? What kind of shots were they? I've never gotten shots in school just at my personal doctor. So I'm just curious🤗 sending love to you all ❤
The school did. I didn't remember much but when I was 13 it was an injection for all the girls to avoid servic cancer (?)I think. We took that injection 3 times in a year and when I was 15 it was a shot to avoid C something but it has a relation with teeth.
Empress Joker Thank you for the information!😄
Mennningicocal, Tetanus and Influenza
Aww sorry to hear that! 💗
@@sophiechadd8738 you will be ok! Sending you love 💗

Story time:
So when I was in 3rd Grade I had a big phobia as needles and
One time I was at school and we were getting flu shots when I was getting mine and I told my school.
Omg they sounds horrific! Sorry to hear you went through that, absolutely disgusting behaviour! 💗🤗
I’m a nursing student in the making and I’ve only recently have noticed I’ve started to get really anxious and uneasy around needed which is strange LOL I passed out before giving blood once like last year actually this is so nice though :,)
Oh goodness 🙈🤗💞
Imagine if all school nurses were like this. Mine just made us form a line and one by one we would get the needle slammed into our arms. She didn’t even say a word except “Next” to call in the next person in line.
I cant remember my school needles, must have blocked that out lol, well done xx
😍 once again medical role play you are the best at! In the words of Shirley Bassey nobody does it better !
😃
I had to get my HPV injection just before lockdown and I have the biggest phobia of needles I was having anxiety about it the whole month leading up to it I wish the nurse that did it was as nice as you I went in and she just jabbed it in my arm so hard thanks to her I’m still terrified of needles but your video helped me a little thank you 😊
💞
Thank You!!!! 🥺❤️🥺
Primary school was so weird, we literally had to line up by class and get injections in basically an assembly line 😂. I would jump so much that they had to go in for 2 or 3 tries. Now as an adult I can put on headphones to relax before I get injected
I had this fear all of my life but I am still working on it thank you so much for making this video

How did you get on?
It’s not the needle cause I’m used to like sharp things.... but like the stuff that goes in I’m like not scared of but I think the worse case scenario

Awww that's brilliant!! Well done 😀 definitely not silly at all! So pleased to hear that 🙂
I know that it was a year ago but maybe sb will hear me😂 It would be great to have this type of video another time. Like if it is after a week, talking in medical office and getting one vaccine of the test, that was made third. It is really great video ✨
You are amazing!! Thank you soooooo much for your videos. They are extremely relaxing ❤
I'm nine and even 6ho I don't like getting needles I still be brave and smile it really helps and have a happy day
This is just perfeect
i honestly don't know why I'm still scared of needles, every time I go to a hospital appointment it always involves a blood test and I'm going again in September, the day I go back to school and if my mum asks about a certain thing that might be wrong with me it will probably involve a blood test and when I went to the doctors and i had a really bad experience because the doctor couldn't find a place to put the needle in so she had to put the needle in the other arm and I also had to have a blood test in one arm and then i had my jabs in the other arm. and watching this video i started crying.
Awww 🤗🤗🤗💗💗💗
Thank you and good night!
I'm just saying because I have a really bad fear of needles but I know I need to get it done and I recommend buying a shot blocker, it actually helps me and I think it will help you (hopefully it does)
I passed out on my school ones this year i couldnt help it

I couldn't take it throughout the video, and I laughed that the British accent makes me laugh😭😭

I am soo afraid of needles but when I watch your video you make the fear disappear like 👍
I think I enjoyed watching the video. Thx🤎
I am getting my blood drawn tomorrow and I’m terrified. It always makes me sick to my stomach. And I am also afraid of throwing up so that doesn’t help.
Could this video also help a diagnosed phobia of needles?
amazing as always
There would always be this one kid who went around punching others straight after getting the injection, like for ya girls our HPV injections boys used to punch us right in the area we had it done, but luckily I’m an adult now and don’t ever have to go to school again 💁🏻♀️
Great video! Part 2?????
I used to be afraid of dentists, now after ASMR I'm not afraid) Be Brave Be You a professional))
