When the Tiago 808 first came out, I thought "would it be cool if NB# and Roland did a collab around this shoe." It's only right. I mean... 808? Lol. It makes sense. I never thought that they would actually do it, though. I think It came out great. I hope they release the other colorways for it, too.

Puma released a similar collab with Roland & the TR-808 with their classic 80's sneaker the RS-100 a couple of years ago... I remember it was a big thing with ads and stuff back then yet I've heard nothing about these from neither NB nor Roland... Its a bit sad actually, these look sick! Great vid as always David!!

These are absolutely sick. I need these or the safari dunks. Normally would get both but these shoes have been destroying my bank account lately i gotta draw the line somewhere lmao im at 102 pairs. I love this collab tho nb did great. Im going to look to order these from bluetile if i dont win any safari raffle which will probably be the case. As cool as the safaris are i almost think i like these better.

@DavidBluetile lol alot to some and barley any to some of these collectors out there. But my wallet is definitely hurting right now I'd be super happy with either these Roland 808s or the safari dunks.
I saw on the New Balance website that this colorway has a 'RevLite' midsole where the white leather colorway is listed as 'Abzorb' midsole. Is that an error or did NB switch out the material? If so, does it seem any different?
The shoes say Abzorb on them and I don’t have any other material suggesting there was a change
Are these only available in full sizes? I know the newest Reynolds 480 remix wasn’t available in half sizes. 808s are a mandatory half size up for me.
Yeah same deal as the reynolds. They didn’t make 10.5 or 11.5 so I just ordered whole sizes for the shop
David, I have a question please. In Dunk SB low I normally go 1/2 size up and I wear 9.5; should I stick to the same size with this model? Or should I go 1/2 size up (i.e., 10)?

These are so clean! I have the tan Tiago’s 808, definitely need a day or two to break in but super durable and comfortable! I don’t want these I NEED these!!! Good video David! Keep it up brother!
