Not that great. Lot of scut work and no cutting. High volume centre.

As a MS General Surgery resident from PGI, I can confidently tell you that no other center in the country can train you better in surgery than PGI. Cutting may be lesser, first year may be harder, but you will come out as a mature surgeon with excellent decision making capabilities and reasonable skills (GS and vascular). So don’t listen to the noise outside 😊
