The absolute first thing I did when I embarked on the US medical residency journey was watch your video on how to prepare for USMLE Step 1. I had gone through all those videos and used Uworld, B&B, pathoma the way you advised. After Step 1, Step 2Ck, USCE and everything else, here I am watching this video after applying to residency programs! I want to thank you for all the help. Your videos helped me create a clearer path to navigate through and laid the foundation to this journey! Thanks again.
this is a solid guide! After doing my own prep and attending interviews, this is a good video to highlight the steps and get in the mindset! Thank you.
Dr. Challa this is a great video, thank you for making this. Can u please discuss behavioral questions/reaction to different situations and their answers in detail, i'll be thankful.
Does talking about a particular illness (febrile seizures) you were diagnosed with in your childhood and completely cured, and subsequent experiences with the neurologist who treated you as a motivation improve my chances of a neurology residency or does exposing an illness even if it is cured make it seem like a red flag and end up jeopardizing my chances instead?
This video is really valuable. Could have been much better if provided a frame work for answering every Qs but still I value this content. Thank you so much for putting valuable information in short video. Much appreciated.
Hi doctor thank you for your helpful video. Could you please tell us how to answer a Q says : tell me about a time you made a mistack and had to tell a resident or attending you? Kindely leave the answer for us in a comment. Thank you
Thanks for the feedback! I’m still in the process of learning how to make my videos better and more helpful for all of you! I’ll keep that in mind when making future videos 😊
Dr, i wanted to ask did u do Usmle after ur mbbs from india? Is the residency in USA similar to the MD (postgraduate) of india? If i do MBBS from India then will i study in USA after USMLE or i will do residency and practice as a resident? Please reply
Its similar to pg in india ,you are basically choosing the specialty ,usmle is a registration exam to be able to be selected for residency programs and to practice after your residency period ...and there are 3 steps in usmle www.yousmle.com/img-guide/ Hope this helps

@@008.abiramikathiravan8 so if i want to do my higher studies in Canada (after mbbs) then would I have to give the residency exam of Canada?
@@adityachaudhary9011 yes , in that case you need to write Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination (MCCQE) and qualify in it
