I wouldn't even bother fixing that little ding! I would love it if my wife took an interest in cars and wanted to help me out with projects like this! I strive for perfection and rarely achieve it,. Getting things as close to perfect as possible has always been good enough for me. Plus that ding (completely unnoticeable) has a great story. Remember: It's a car, not a museum piece. Do you want to drive and enjoy it or put it in a glass case and look at it? Keep up the good work, Tiffany!!
Props for handling the damage the way you did! There is no point in flipping out (especially at your spouse). I used to be very hard on myself if something like this happened, but I have matured over time and realized it is just stuff and can be fixed. Perfect time to practice touch up paint skills!
BTW Tiff it def looks great!!! dont feel bad we all do it... Cant wait to see the new video of Ponies in the Smokies!!! It was great seeing you guys again as always...
Chin up Tiff. Stuff like that happens to all of us. That mishap is an easy fix. My son and i had a mishap with his 2005 Chrysler 300. Fixed it ourselves no problem. I have a 1985 Fox Gt with a Dech kit. We live in Ontario, Canada same as Chris from TIP. We enjoy watching your channel. Keep it up!
Thanks Bob, I think we'll get it fixed without trouble. It's cool that you have a Fox with a DECH kit . I absolutely LOVE that. Always appreciate the support.
Awe man poor Tiff, was so upset! It’s on Tiff, Tarheel is still a bad ass ride! The mat does look good! Cars and coffee looks like it was a good turn out!
@@GearHead704 Yeah! Luckily my girl joins in too and always asks if I can use her help on mine, and hey if they're a part of it they can't complain about buying car parts right? Lol 👀
It happens don't feel bad at all. Loved the team work and what I loved the most was the quality time together. Keep it up guys and see you in the next one.
These things happen when building a car head up Tiffany. For future upgrades they sell a drill bit depth tool you simply lock it onto your drill bit and you'll not bust through but it might scratch the paint so hmmm 🤔maybe tape to protect finish from depth tool.
Excellent learning experience guys. It happens. It’s one of those situations that you’ll not likely forget anytime soon. Tiff, Matt would be up a creek without you there.
Matt what a another cool video, glad to see all of the foxes show up at the cars and coffee. And as far as the mistake, it freaking happens, heck that's very minor compared to some of the things i have done to my vehicles, that kind of comes with it when you work on your own stuff, tell Tiff it happens to everyone.
Dude, yes it’s just car. Stuff happens! Maybe try paint less dent removal place. Even with the paint a little cracked should be a easy respray after that little pimple dent is straight. But that small I wouldn’t be super worried lol.
Like you said Matt, when it’s all said and done, it is just a car. I think it will be an easy fix. Maybe a P-D-R guy 🤷🏼♂️ And look at it this way, maybe the repair can be another video?
Hey Matt and Tiff the trunk mat looks great I’m glad to see your understanding with the little mishap Tiff looked very upset she is a wonderfull lady as I’m sure you know keep the video’s coming you guys are the best
Hey shit happens don’t sweat the small stuff. A PDR guy can probably fix and blend and you’ll never see it Or maybe even add a vinyl graphic stripe to the car On the plus side, the trunk liner looks great 👍
Yeah, mistakes happens it's all good. PDR would fix it, but we actually decided to leave it for now, it's kinda cool that it has her "personal" touch for now.
Tiff it’s Matt’s fault. I sprayed super clean on a brand new paint job when I was a kid and had to have someone come biff it all out. 😂. Happens to all of us.
Damn Tiff! How could you!!! Lol I'm just kidding. I couldn't possibly count all the mistakes I've made during my build. I'd rather myself or someone I love make a mistake than some ignorant bumpkin at a shop that doesn't give two shits about my car.
You could tell Tiffany felt so bad that happened. Matt you could of played that guilt trip into getting tar heel fox supercharged or a turbo lol. Like you said it’s just a car & now that mark just gives it a little more character. The trunk looks awesome, very nice 👍🏻
Don’t sweat it Tiff…these things happen. It is awesome you guys work together with the cars and don’t let this discourage you. The ding is repairable, but your temp fix is a cool conversation topic till that time comes. Hope to see you guys next month at the swap meet!
Hey Matt and Tiffany!! It was great to see y’all out there working together. Enjoy every minute of that you can. That’s the good stuff! Cool side note: infamous project is in the same fox club as I am here in north Texas. Next time y’all visit, I’d love to meet up! Love the channel, y’all keep it real.
Hey Matt are you going to the National Mustang Day swap meet and car show at Fox resto? I’m thinking about going. I’m from jersey so it’s a long ride. Just asking, thanks
Ok cool sounds good. Hopefully I’ll see you there. My twin brother has a 1991 Mercury Grand Marquis with a 5.0 in it too. Could he bring that as well? Thanks
Thanks Carlos, I kept remember the holes in Dori's trunk for her changing spoilers, no big deal. Appreciate your kind words and hope to meet you some day.
I had my A9L rebuilt a couple months ago by Fox Mustang Restoration and Sam was great to deal with, very quick to return my emails with any questions I had! And I love the car Matt, beautiful car, just needs alot darker shade of blue!! Hopefully we can get revenge if we meet in the ACC tournament championship!
It's ok TIFF. You did an awesome job anyhow. We all make mistakes. Awesome video MATT. Thanks for sharing. Keep the incredible content coming. Hope you and TIFFANY have an amazing night. Much love and RESPECT to both of you guys
It's okay Tiff. Matt inadvertently set you up for failure. LOL. That's why we hubbies can't get mad at our wives when they help us with projects. She did exactly as she was told. You did a great job installing the mat for Matt. No one will notice the ding but you guys. It should be an easy and fairly inexpensive fix. I like it when you guys team up for projects. I'm going to be using a punch and a prayer when I install the rear spoiler on my Acura. I'll have to be dead center on all four points where the bolts will go through the deck lid. I better skip the coffee that morning. Steady hands. LOL
Steady Hands for the win! LMAO, Well said on all points VV, I can probably fix easy, but at the same time I might just let it roll as is LOL. Thanks for the support man.
That is pretty awesome, oh and by the way mistakes happen. I love the content as always. Great job folks. I love the cars and coffee car show, keep it coming!!
Tiffany is awesome and a minor mistake is a small price to pay to have a wife that you can share your hobby with. She is just finding ways to make more content...lol

Great Video Matt and Tiff... We love seeing you guys working together and enjoying the fox
Thanks so much, we always try to do things together if we can.
It's all good Tiff. Nature of the beast.

Great job Tiff! Angie helps me out from time to time
I know she does, you've got a keeper for sure there, thanks DV!
Nice to see you Matt. Thank you for the support!
My pleasure, great to see y'all
12:30 7up in the back. Best vert they ever made. Execpt the 7-up saleens.

Easy fix ! Take it to a paint shop , light tap with a hammer and dolly and a little bit of paint blending
I agree, no biggie, thanks man!
It has happened to everyone. Tiffany did a great job. That's an easy fix for a body guy or maybe even a paintless dent repair shop...keep smiling
You're right and I think paintless dent has a shot, so I'm gonna try it. We'll see.
Exactly these things happen. Everyone has done it at some time
Right! She is part of the car's story now 😁
Don’t worry Tiff, not you fault it happens to us all. Glad to see you out there helping, don’t get discouraged. Keep turning those wrenches

Dude the patience and restrain you had after that drill incident…kudos to you! Wish I could be like that.

Can’t wait for Chocolate Fox! I’ll be at the cruise in and as well as the show Saturday.
Awesome, looking forward to it myself.
I respect Sam for keeping the srod, but I’d have to swap the t5 in and just keep the srod in storage until needed.
I'd have to T-5 swap it too LOL
Nice to see shows with out masks again👍
Sam, I'll be calling tomorrow to check on my A9L status.
LOL, he'll be ready for the call. Yes I'm tired of masks LOL

For sure, and I agree, thanks Bruce.
Looks great!
Yeah, I love the trunk mat
Our Dream can fix that up easy. Tiff looked like she was gonna be sick after that happened! Poor thing!
She was, definitely. Thanks Greg.
Good stuff! I did that on my SN95 fan install on the aluminum bracket 😆
Maybe easier to hide that! LOL
