I agree, it looks fantastic and unique. I’m also curious to know how the fairing affects your ride. I’m thinking you’re going to love it. I started out on a sports bike with a fairing, and when I first jumped on a naked, I couldn’t believe the wind blast. Even now I won’t take my interceptor on the highway if I can avoid it. If I had the GT instead, I’d definitely consider it.

Thanks for watching Nick! I do love the naked look and miss staring at the headers as these side panels tuck them away. I’m going to be patient lol and let it blend on me.
I used to take the classic 500cc on the highway and I understand the wind blast.

I dig it man! I'm on my own journey for what I want my Continental to look like (so I'd say I wouldn't get this/do a full fairing)but I love seeing the full scope of what route you can go with such an awesome canvass as the GT 650's. Even if it doesn't become a full future video please show what you talked about with just keeping the headlight and bottom fairings, even if you don't stick with it get some shots. That is something I think could look really cool. Ride safe man. It looks good.

Thanks for watching Motomitch! I think I'm biased towards the naked look where I can see the entire engine and headers which is probably the reason why the side panels don't attract me much. Hopefully, after I made it all chrome/gold pinstripe it will change my perception. I would definitely recommend the headlight fairing if your after the caferacer look.
I will create a short video near future where I was talking about fabricating a bracket that can hold the belly panel by itself so it wont need the side panels as a support. That will also be easy for oil change as you simply remove the belly and not worry about side panels or alignment issues every time you reinstall it. Appreciate your support to the channel man!

Thanks, I really like the design on these. It has built in signals too so cleans up the rear end for cafe racer look.

@@GrewalsGarage it was quite an hefty task to install...if there are alignment issues for a bracket then u should re-do by opening from the first bracket, a good advice is to don't tighten up the screws and bolts as soon as u apply, wait till the end and then u will see everything will be aligned properly to tighten up again....just a suggestion, if u have any alignment issue then it's bcoz u have tighten up the previous bolts too early

@@GrewalsGarage also i want to add that the screws and bolt provided to me from autologue was all of the same size(all small), So it was a task finding all the specific nuts and bolt....every other fairings are made identical to each other, so there's no chance of misalignment or may be slightly....so just unscrew everthing and start it over again

@@GrewalsGarage after 3-4 tries of installing it properly, now my fairing doesn't have any vibration or sound, it's all sturdy and everything is aligned properly, just re-do everything, it will be fine just like mine....i too had problems with alignment & vibrations on rough patch and mine also had the same issue coz i tighten up every bolt instantly...let me know if u have any problem in installing at any step....believe me once u do it properly, it won't feel like an aftermarket accessories

I had to bend brackets and do some home engineering to make this work as you can see in my part 1 and part 2 of the video. And took the fairing on and off multiple times to make it work…The fitment I give thumps down they could have designed it better with more instructions but the styling is nice.
