As this went on, it looked like Eli was getting angry at the reporters for piling on Chase. He looked like he recognized the frustration and became protective of Chase...Sorta' like a big brother.

Chase was pissed and rethinking and going over the fact in his head that he is not as fast AND consistent as Tomac and Wedd is happy because he THINKS he's found the Holy Grail and that he is faster than Tomac but hasn't realized that Tomac had a bunch left. Tomac only goes as fast as he has to for the circumstances. On good days, Eli only goes as fast as he has to, to win and on bad days he only goes as fast as it takes to salvage as many points as he can without falling.

that last one where Chase is about to blow a gasket... Eli was such a gentleman in leveling the field, saying we were all worried about any of us doing that. i'm sure you can see Chase relax at that moment. it was kind of Eli. as humans we always have to realize the tide can turn at any time, and how would we feel trading places. good job Eli.
reminds me of what Mike Tyson's mother told him on his way up the ladder to greatness... something like, "remember son, all them folks you pass-by on the way up, you gonna be seeing them all again on the way back down later." wise words!

I did my degree in human Psychology and later focused on body language of statements compared to body language of interrogation which is basically what after race press conferences are. To add to your views things I have noted from this are Tomac is the most relaxed but gives an aire of whatever happens I have not long before there is no more of this. Webbs crossed arms are a barrier of defence before he is even asked a question but Sexton is well peaved but really none of them want to be there. Noticeable to what ever Tomac says that left leg was labouring maybe only slightly but quite tight. I think he does have an injury.

Suspension set too soft ? Momentarily loss of concentration?

Even Better Eli's mindful response to the question on what he thought after seeing Sexton down. His empathic response on how gutted Chase is, he mentions how they all are so susceptible to a crash. Just kidding, it's just wicked smarts on how not to add fuel to the obvious speed flames Sexton has. The last thing he wants to do is promote the illusion that speed is sustainable. The realization how dangerous he is if he cleans up these mistakes.

It could be worse, just imagine if they were fighters. It has to suck losing a race, and worse losing like Chase has. Now imagine being Israel Adesanya and getting knocked out again in a fight he was well ahead, for the 3rd time. He has to listen to people ask him " you had the fight won and only had to survive another 2 minutes. Does that make it worse?" "Why didn't you not let him hit you?" "How does it feel to lose like this again?" An ass whipping is much more personal than losing a race, even a huge race. I feel for Chase.
These three have very different personalities. Eli is almost slightly autistic and a bit antisocial. He is only somewhat comfortable because he has been there so many times. Chase isn't a naturally outgoing guy to be comfortable like Jett is. Cooper is a cocky little bastard who isn't afraid to talk some shit. He'll sit up there and answer truthfully. That's him being confident, even if he is really outgoing. He knows Chase is not dealing with the pressure just like he knew Kenny would fade every race. If Cooper can make it close in the final laps he believes things will go his way somehow. It just seems to always happen.

Chris, cool 😎 👌 video and topic. This is sure out of the box 📦, fantastic! That's awesome you studied mass communication in college, I was a double major Sociology and Poli Sci! I think 🤔 Eli is mature, humble, and professional. Chase, a good 👍 young man, but struggling. It's tough I'm sure! Paul, an arrogant, narcissistic, little asshole! Thank you for the content!

Why does Eli Give an answer like this? The odds are in my favor that Chase is going to crash and I will say thanks to him when I ride by for the lead.

Yeah the press conferences are getting pretty cringe. They ask the same questions every time before and after. I'd be all like " you guys are dogs out there wooo, who's getting that booty tonight boys? Can't wait for next week!" Haha we need cooksey in there!!

Ya just like all the media they always try and bring down the riders, definitely tomac!! They keep hounding him with the same stupid questions to try and mentally break him it’s pathetic!! It was Tampa this weekend and it’s been retirement question all season trying to get him to quit!! The guy is in his prime at 30 and he could go multiple more years if the damn media would stop there shit!

of course eli said that to/for chase, he experienced a few similar type seasons, losing to anderson & webb. eli does not have the amount championships to match his winning record. eli is great im not shitting on him.

I hope this side of the Supercross,/ Motocross, isn't why ET3, retires , I know he is Tired* of Pre ( not really bad for him) , but mostly ( post race media obligations) I hope they make new rules THAT the* post Race Press CAN ONLY LAST FOR 30 MINS !!!! and for the Press to get there questions out fast. And NO 2 QUESTIONS IN 1 QUESTION, get in- ask , get answer , and Move on, I bet that would be a relief, of Eli, and keep him around for a while Longer. So he can SAVE that Mental energy, to take back to his Team, and Wind down, along with giving them the Info FRESH OFF THE TRACK. not an hour later, after they got tired , and its not FRESH in there minds , JMHO 🙏💯🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁💪🍻👊

I don't even care win Eli has a bad weekend, he knows what he is doing. It is the same as Chase losing concentration and falling down. Leave the guy alone and let he ride. He is faster than most when he is out there. It was the same with Bubba . Just to bad these guys crash.

On the podium it sounded like chase was reading a memorized wall of corny motivational posters from a strip mall sports shrink’s waiting room. Miss seeing BB4 in these just keeping it real and not giving canned answers. The reporters have to do a better job of asking questions instead of the same scripted garbage like it’s Biden’s White House press brief

Media needs to get better here otherwise the Riders are just going to keep turning off more and more becuase the questions are Eye Rolling like.
