If you guys had any understanding on how a rider is paid from a factory team you would know they are each independent contractors. No union. Someone on here might say they could form a rider group that would fight for their safety concerns, purse money, etc. but they could have done this all along and they haven’t. I think the riders probably do have issues with many different aspects of the sport. I’m not hearing them bitch moan and complain like Cooksey. The truth is from privateer to factory rider they continue to sign up to race all these races and we the fans are entertainined.

It's a shocker that the AMA says they're broke when they clearly lie through their teeth considering the tax video you did. It's a total shame none of that money goes to the things you mentioned (flaggers, extra bonuses, more sponsorships, etc.). I always thought it was because they were being too picky about who can be a sponsor in this sport.

I used to reside very close to Matterley Basin and frequently visited the motocross GPs there. It is a stunning track, and the region has a rich history that dates back to Roman times and even earlier.
Back then, I used to pay about a £20 entry fee that used to get me into the pits, where you could interact with the riders and mechanics and get right next to the start line.
Now, the greedy mafia mob wants me to pay £120 just to get in.. I can't get anywhere near the pits unless you pay extra, and as far as getting anywhere near the start line, that privilege has been taken up by the VIP tent...and you've guessed it, that's extra bucks too.
If I wanted to do what I used to do a few years back, it's now going to cost me £900! You've read that right, yes, £900! And that's just for me, no family, just me alone. Absolute daylight robbery.

I wicked love this sport and I would love to support it and I mean the
riders who are the ones putting their life on the line to give their fans something incredible to watch. Im not paying 40 bucks to cheer for my country when It should be free to watch considering I've already paid peacock for Supercross and Outdoors. If most of the prominent rider's took a stand or strike. They would have NO CHOICE but to meet their demands.
MXGP riders boycotted a qualifier race two years ago, and infront just made the qualifiers pay points to prevent them from boycotting it.
sounds like we just make up our own new series and remove them altogether, dont need mainstream t.v. anymore

It's incredibly satisfying to see such sleazy people being outed in real time. Just be prepared, Cooksey, for them to pull every trick in the book in order to silence you, and a lot of those tactics will be meant to intimidate you physically. I've seen it before - when their racket is in danger of being exposed and they think their gravy train could be coming to an end, they'll do whatever it takes to make it stop.
Feld has most all the stadiums under contract, think Monster Truck, SX that's why other series can not compete. Stadium Super Trucks found this out the hard way.
I was excited for Stadium Super Trucks when it started up, and was super bummed that they stopped doing stadiums and became an undercard for IndyCar. I don't know much of the details, why did they stop doing stadiums? Was iit feld?

0bummer got installed into the WHITE HOUSE & I spent $25K on projectile launchers, projectile reloaders & 25 year food. After going to live MOTO from the early 70's from HangTown to Carlsbad & SaddleBack, all the SX races on the west coast & the MXoN in 87 at Unadilla, USGP's, World Speedway Championship in the birth place of SX, the LA Coliseum, races at the Rose Bowl & then they started putting it on TV & no riders got a raise 7 I had to stop going to the MADE FOR TV LIVE SHOWS that were being sent out over the air waves & SOME UNKNOWN GANGSTERS were TAKING ALL THE $$$$$$ so I stopped going & handing over my $3-500 spectating dollars every year, PERIOD!!!

This is why I don't race too much drama and especially local district racing they rarely enforce any rules. I just ride like a Moto bum lol kinda like a Ski bum but with moto.

Back in the day, riders in Europe used to get paid start money just to show up and race. Pro riders, especially those of some fame, should NOT have to pay entry fees! Entry fees are for amateur events, amateur racing. It’s appalling that professional racers have to pay the promoter (who is making😅 money off of them in the first place!) to then be the stars of the show. It should be the other way around, riders should be getting paid to show up.

Cooksey with the $40 fee, you also can go back and watch other premium content on the site, like the 2024 season and past MXON races as well. I think for 14 days from purchase. Not that it’s still not way too much money just wanted to make sure you caught that incase you weren’t able to watch the mxgp season this year. Hope this is helpful if you hadn’t noticed.

MXON at Ironman is going to be horrible. They changed the track layout so much and added so much fencing.. it's going to be horrible for spectators and super cramped. Redbud has the giant infield needed for a event like this and much easier to travel around the track and see more of the track at 1 time. Ironman now a days you can only watch small sections of the track at once.
100% I was just at the finale a month or so ago and it was crowded af, hard to see and no shade at all other than the new section they added in the trees.
Pretty sure the FIM in Europe is taking a slice of the pie.

There's not an infinite amount of room for fans so high tickets prices is going to happen when an event is in high demand. The teams and riders are getting screwed.
