- An experiment in sculpture using paper mache and paper mache clay. I used gorilla glue for the first time in this project and learned a few things about how it works!

Thank you for making this. The perfect amount of content with out any filler, and your narration is clear and consistent. I wish you produced every RUclips instruction video. Fantastic end result. Would never have guessed that’s how it was made.
The end result looks super cool!! You are incredibly creative
Thanks for visiting
Are you kidding me? You are amazing ❤!
OMG!!! Stunning! You have no idea how useful this is to me! Thank you so much!

I make wands and have recently started making "unicorn horns." I've been looking for a horse skull to turn into a unicorn skull, but now I think I'm going to make my own. Thanks for this.
Sounds magic
Excellent use of material and overall execution ! A+

Hope she likes it.

Thank you very much!
Well done!
Thank you
Beautiful
Ugly but beautiful
Awesome Skull, but you didn’t show how you attached the goat horns ?
You can use tile board glue to make a plastic like shield over your projects. It's waterproof after it drys.
good suggestion
Mod Podge is a great water proofing.
But gorilla glue lasts better in the weather I reckon
wow your so creative
I can't stop making things
Please make owl skull
Well done!

Thanks for the sub!
dang, super cool thx for sharing, sub
😊
Awesome piece!! Love. So how much toilet paper did you use and how long did you let it soak. Im wanting to make a skull piece.
Some brilliant new ideas with papier mache, I was especially interested in the gorilla glue for waterproofing. How is it standing up outside? I’m in the UK and it is rainy here, I’ve been trying to find some way of waterproofing for outside sculptures. Thank you! Looks great 😊
Holding up well for at least its first very wet winter we have had here. No obvious signs of deterioration yet
Wow!!!!
Thanks Margaret
Super
I absolutely love this - going to make it for my gson's Xmas - what would be the UK equivalent to builders stopping plaster please
Try Joint Filler or Joint Compound?
@@OfftheGridMakes thank you
I want to make one of this to a halloween party.
I love the goat head! Could you list out all of the materials? I want to make sure i have everything and can make substitutions for materials if needed.
Thanks. Most of the stuff you need is mentioned in the video, but basically you'll need aluminium foil, newspaper, pva glue, some wire to stiffen up the pool noodles used for the horns, some gorilla glue for waterproofing and some stopping plaster (which is used for plastering walls). At a pinch you could just use plaster of Paris. And maybe a small block of wood so you've got something solid inside to attach it to a wall. Hope this helps and good luck!
Hello did you say builders stopping plaster? What would I look for at Bunnings thanks so much
Yes - just ask them for that. You can get it ready mixed up in a pot
Hi mate. When you say stiff wire, will galvanised garden wire do?
Yep - If you can bend it - it will do the job.
Thanks mate. Unfortunately I made abit of an error. In a rush I totally 4got the masking tape and went straight to paper machet. Is it possible now once it's dried to apply masking tape and then 2nd coat paper machet or is it too late?
Absolutely that should be ok. The function of the masking tape is to give a solid surface for the paper mache to stick to. But you could probably get away with it now that you have a surface already. The more layers of paper mache you can put on, the better!
@OfftheGridMakes 🍻 cheers mate thank you so much. I'm using your video to make tentacles for a venom costume wish me luck lll
Sorry mate one final question. Masking tape done. It's pretty secure and sturdy. Do you recommend one more coating of paper machet like you did ? Or OK to acrylic paint over. I'm using black paint with over in streaks after that. Deffo looks more stable now with the tape
What is Off the Grid about pool noodles? I live by the sea and near a pool but I would not be able to source a pool noodle except via Amazon or ebay.
Get them at my local hardware
Thanks for making Messi skull
Just a joke kidz
