One of the rare times when a decision like this works for both sides. GON landed on his feet at Wolves, with the sacking giving him the motivation to do much better than he did at Bournemouth. And Bournemouth are looking good under Iraola with an exciting future. Foley made the right call
@@briantranter4317mate his style is only just coming through and we look great he’s an excellent manager and it’s the most exciting football I’ve seen in a long time at the Mol
Thank you Mr Foley, I've been a Cherries fan since 1955, I've never known such exciting times. The football we're playing is superb. I'm pleased that GON is doing well at Wolves, wishing him much success for the future too.
The new stadium is not news for a lot of Bournemouth fans. He promised it when he took over and announced it December. What a great interview from Foley. In Foley we trust.
Thanks so much for sacking O’Neil. He’s done an outstanding job at wolves. 3 days notice, £160 million of players sold. No one wanted the job! Five unbeaten atm, eight unbeaten at home, city, spurs , Chelsea to name a few beaten too. Wolves are now in an outstanding position in the PL where they are definitely looking up and some form of European football. The style of play and the aggressiveness of it coupled with the pace we attack is a joy to watch. We look forward to seeing you at fortress molineux 🧡🖤
Don't understand if u know Gary O'Neal was going to be successful why take a risk and sack him, also a lot of teams have to soak up pressure and hit them on the counter,I personally like O'Neal's style at wolves very nice watch.
It wasn't a poor decision from the Bournemouth point of view. Most fans thought his style of play with us was horrible to watch. We were used to watching good football over the last 13/14 years and what he offered we hated. But, we're pleased he found a new job.
Oh now they come out after they finally started to climb the table in november? we didnt hear the cherries / small club / small ground / owners come out and slam Gary 6 weeks+ ago!
Should be interesting how Foley will handle adversity in a relegation fight. Thought he was fine last season when he just bought the club, but the club can easily be in relegation fights each season. The “most successful (profitable)” American owners have been owners of the big clubs: ManU, Liverpool, Arsenal, probably Chelsea who never are threatened with relegation. But the “bad owners” like Randy Lerner at Aston Villa or Ellis Short at Sunderland were at constantly threatened clubs, and even Swansea City today (we’ll see about Leeds)
£100m spent at Bournemouth since he was sacked. Whilst that was happening, Wolves were selling £130m worth of players. GON is an exceptionally good coach and manager.
Sorry but the man's a fool and he doesn't understand footy but I'm really pleased about it because we have GON and he is not only a masterful and exciting manager he is a proper good bloke, a decent man.
The biggest fools in all this are Wolves for thinking they could get a decent coach on the cheap. GON has ruined a squad with 3 Brazilian internationals. Fair enough, Wolves aren't top 8 challengers, but this squad is good enough for 10th - 14th if we had a manager who wasn't a charlatan without a clue.
For a man so warm and smiley in his profile picture, that comment does absolutely reek of elitist garbage, and a lack of understanding of the beautiful game.

Honestly shocked how knowledgeable he is about the sport.. most American owners don’t have a clue. 👏🏽👏🏽 building the club’s infrastructure too 👏🏽
he's a great owner coming from a hockey fan, very willing to spend money and great facilities

Eddie Howe? Top ten premiership finish and took u's from brink of liquidation to becoming an established top flight side
All those years in the lower divisions but now we are flying so good to be Bournemouth fans
Some very interesting points raised. Especially about an incoming player, which sounds done and dusted. UTCIAD 🎉🎉🎉
I love this man. We’re so lucky
Exciting times to be a Cherry 🍒

It's incredible how this has massively worked out for both sides.
@@stephenoxf It's incredible how badly these comments have aged! O'Neil was always overrated and now he's been found out.
The stadiums not old, it was built just over 20 years ago, too small that's the problem.

Luv the LOLS from Wolves fans .GO was obviously not an "exciting" enough name 😆
An interesting view, that GON can't coach attacking style, he seems to have found that skill since he left your club 😁
Interesting about Michael B Jordan. Hopefully he won't stuff up the 'look and feel'.
It's OK Bournemouth, you can have him back now.

Bournemouth were in a relegation fight last season. This year they are doing fine and safe from relegation.

Andoni Iraola isn’t a good coach and manager? Both clubs have a very similar squad value
