Growing up my father owned a salvage yard and I tore apart a burned 300zx and in the ashtray it was filled with quarters and I was like yes I hit the jackpot. Then I tore into the glovebox and found a really nice watch. Took it to my father and it was a gold Rolex, I was 9 years old so that meant nothing to me at the time. My father had that watch until the day he died and loved it now I have it.
Would definitely recommend soda blasting to clean up the truck. The advantage is that it uses baking soda instead of sand or glass beads so its not as abrasive. Won't warp panels and the baking soda will take out any burnt odor as well. Probably someone locally would have a portable machine so you don't have to haul the cab.
Id get it chemically dipped to remove everything, including all the burned small! Then the cab repairs to the structure are relatively east to clean metal, and a nice coat of paint!
The donor looks like it was a builder's truck with all those orange gloves. There is some light at the end of the tunnel now most of the junk is out. Keep going Michael, it will be worth the hard work. 👍👍
I don't think ASTONISHING is too much to say for the tenacity you guys put forth on your projects. I never would have thought there was a profit to be made on this project but you guys see throiugh every step of the process and work your butts off to get to it. I'm very impressed. It's amazing!
Good job using protection while tearing down that burned truck,. Way too many RUclipsrs tear down these types of cars/trucks not realizing there are breathing in some bad stuff that will catch up with them down the road...
What a lot of work to get the cab cleaned out and your doors removed. Looking forward to seeing the floors cleaned up and interior down to the surface.
New sheetmetal is pretty thin. I'll bet the blaster recommends something milder like glass media or even baking soda. One thing about burnt vehicles is they get become flood vehicles too when they put out the fire!
Niko Brothers, check out Vtuned '65 Mustang build. It was a fire roached out body, like this cab is too. He had a vapor blaster come in and blasted the body up pretty good. That guy does travel quite a distance.
Michael that was a lot of work! Vtune had someone vapor blast his Mustang! I think it was his last video! It looked like they did a good job. I think he left a link for them. Anyhow great progress and I am looking forward to the next video!
I assume that was a box of business cards that you found, so maybe you can give the previous owner a call and let him know his old truck is on RUclips, in case he's interested. And you could ask him what happened to it, as it's always nice to hear the back story for wrecked vehicles being rebuilt.
It will be easy to actually work the cab if you first get someone mobile to VAPOR BLAST the cab. The VTUNE guys used a guy on their Mustang build a few days ago. It was fire damage as well and needs the roof replaced too.
I think you guys are going to have a nice truck for a good price, it is going to be a lot of work, but I like doing this kind of work ,you can definitely say you built 95 percent of that truck when finished.
Well lads from this side of The Pond it seems you bought a smashed black parts truck to repair the burnt out interior of the white one! Having said that the black one will yield some great parts to recover some of the costs. You will still end up with a mega truck for well under retail costs.
Can you guys explain what is the purpose for the front end parts since like the bumper and lights as these two truck were fundamentally different packages and the parts are not the same. The original truck had different body color bumpers and different grille and LED headlights. This parts truck was a basic package with different hood, halogen lights and chrome bumpers. I don't see how that any of the stuff outside of doors and fenders is transferable unless you plan to downgrade the crashed truck
Most of the truck parts on the white one can't even be used on the black one because gas/diesel and the trucks have different level trim packages. The headlights can;t even be used because one has HID/LED and the other halogens.
@@ingresswizard9044 I don't think there is any difference in the cab and box, and all the trim comes from the diesel- the only issue is getting the VIN swapped by DMV. The diesel truck will have a lot more value than the gas.

I like these guys, what Tavarish, Chris fix and others used to be.. long time ago. This channel feels genuine, educational, entertaining. Keep it up.
Exactly the brotherhood of the two Nikos is incredible. :)
Who doesn’t love a good clean out!
No project scares these guys I looked at the thumbnail and thought damn that's a burnt truck 😳👏👏
going at it =)
VTuned just had his Mustabd vapor blasted. Looked great afterward!
The donor looks like it was a builder's truck with all those orange gloves. There is some light at the end of the tunnel now most of the junk is out. Keep going Michael, it will be worth the hard work. 👍👍
Nothing like taking a rake to the cab of your slightly used project truck!
Lol

Let's do this guys
Awesome 👏🏻 never seen such a happy dudes getting their hands dirty.
I love parts vehicles, saves a lot of running around and money 💰
Love the channel, keep em coming!
That truck is going to be a beast. I'm excited to see the progress continue. Keep up the great work 😃. God is good 👍
that carpet put up a good fight 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻
Mike your the man! Stay safe my friend.
Good job using protection while tearing down that burned truck,. Way too many RUclipsrs tear down these types of cars/trucks not realizing there are breathing in some bad stuff that will catch up with them down the road...
Yep, like CT, handling mouse poop and piss without any protection gear. Dumb.
On sandblasting check with VTuned as he just had his mustang vapor blasted - did an great job..
What a lot of work to get the cab cleaned out and your doors removed. Looking forward to seeing the floors cleaned up and interior down to the surface.
Think you should pave or gravel the entrance to your workshop. When it rains it too muddy and you carry that into your workshop
New sheetmetal is pretty thin. I'll bet the blaster recommends something milder like glass media or even baking soda. One thing about burnt vehicles is they get become flood vehicles too when they put out the fire!
They can have it dry ice blasted or laser blasted.
New name sootey brothers
For some reason this video was so satisfying. 😎
Paint is 2007 GM Bermuda Blue Metallic! one of GMs best colors in the modern era!
Good job guys 👍 have a lovely day from Morocco ❤ God bless America ^-^
Niko Brothers, check out Vtuned '65 Mustang build. It was a fire roached out body, like this cab is too. He had a vapor blaster come in and blasted the body up pretty good. That guy does travel quite a distance.
You sure see potential in things that most would pass over...[a spiritual lesson there?] I enjoy watching you turn junk back to gold. Good video.
Wow, easier said than done ! Kudos Michael and helpers. 👍
Nice work, girls!
So good so far 👍
very ambitious project and good score on the burnout! good luck
Luving every minute! Go go go!
Nice progress, can't wait for "Next time on Nko Brothers" show (TV Show, that is)
Thanks for the video
are you going to save and repair the hood
They can but the hood on the black one is different due to the difference in truck packages.
What was the cause of the fire?
Burn baby 🔥. Getting it done Niko style. Great video.
Looking Great
Make a roller trolley to store doors hood etc outa wood
They got some new help this is going to be an interesting build see how many trucks it takes to make a one good one
Now is the time to say "It does not look too bad"....!
You may end up putting at lest a roof skin on truck & maybe a back panel o the white cab I can't tell how warped the roof skin is. Good luck !!
And Just Like That the parts truck was in parts! 👍👍🤘🏻🤘🏻🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🤘🏻🤘🏻👍👍
Your doing a great job. Keep up the good work!! 👏👏👏👏

Thanks Bro's for the update on the work on Silverado. Great...👍👍
Fantastic video! Quite enjoyable to watch and learn from you guys. Keep up the good work👍👍
Awesome content
Love the progress. Keep it up 👍🏻
Check into Water Vapor blasting...
Another way to do burnt or rusty stuff is a molasses and water mix and drenching it. It is awesome check it out other guys do it on RUclips
Keep up the great work .
Buenos videos y buenos proyectos de trabajo , saludos desde CDMX
would you ever get rid of the burn smell?
you guys should do the painted grille instead of the all black plastic one they look soo much better
I would get it vapor blasted v tuned just did it on his mustang
I assume that was a box of business cards that you found, so maybe you can give the previous owner a call and let him know his old truck is on RUclips, in case he's interested. And you could ask him what happened to it, as it's always nice to hear the back story for wrecked vehicles being rebuilt.
Get it done
All your content is very nice I follow you from Iraq
How did it burn
its NICE!
Get the cab vapor blasted alot better job and less damage from the media. And you will be much happier with the results.
tnx for the video
This build reminde me of *Diy gan's* helcat but they used 2 cars for that build....
Great video thanks
Niko Brothers? maybe Niko brother LOL Vapor blast, not sand blast. Remove the roof first , vapor blast all the other burn body parts also..
Like a new one Guys.
Why tear down interior?
It will be easy to actually work the cab if you first get someone mobile to VAPOR BLAST the cab. The VTUNE guys used a guy on their Mustang build a few days ago. It was fire damage as well and needs the roof replaced too.
Keep going guys
I would cut off the wiring plugs from the burnt dash as you never know when you will need them
Idk that cab may not be usable but i hope it works out for you i know your trying to bring us good content and you do and thanks

I think the black truck has become the parts donor truck to repair the white one ..... Just my take on it.
I'm confused- are these 2 different truck projects, or are you using the white one to fix the black one?
I think that was Plan A but Plan B is now to use Black Truck parts to repair the white one. I think ....
Most of the truck parts on the white one can't even be used on the black one because gas/diesel and the trucks have different level trim packages. The headlights can;t even be used because one has HID/LED and the other halogens.

@@1chish Better to sandblast the white cab, paint the inner structure your color choice and drop it onto the diesel and then swap out the interior.
@@oldschool1993 I think that is the Plan B I mentioned. They aren't even using the chassis of the black one as they bought an 8 foot bed.
Having to update my comment... should have kept the respirator on the whole time! Some nasty stuff in the air from cleaning out that cab!
Need drivers side rocker 2022 hd Silverado crew only need 2 feer front
try Vapor Blasting like VTUNED did it
It's amazing what isn't burnt in there. lol. What a mess.
Or soda diped
I think you need to start a controlled fire, to finish off the enterior. LOL Save yourself the headache of un bolting things. LOL
At some point you should introduce us to the other guys in your shop...
You need a bigger shop
Is the other Niko behind the camera?
That’s a lot of work but it’s worth it 👋
let's do it
You should ask Mike Rowe to come partake in a very dirty job!
Sandblasting BAD - dipping GOOD.
Хорошо прожаренный стейк 😇
Dont breathe the burnt inside matey.
Boy u guys like playing with burnt stuff..lol..geter done!!
👍
👍👍
Oh no dont cut the wiring harness..... oh wait never mind carry on lol
Power wash the bed and sell it as a cheap project. For the diyer.
You could probably get 5K or more for that engine and that would offset the cost of the parts truck!
With the exception of brushing the teeth of a Great White shark is there anything you guys won't tackle? lol
Brothers: "Hold my toothbrush!"
