We have many options other than US. We can opt for countries closer to India so you can visit India very frequently and get better education. And We are missing out many many things in the name of kids education and our own lifestyle...
Not only our children we should also try to mingle with our fellow Americans. I am citizen and I feel that Americans are more genuine and caring than our Indians in America. Americans too have family values and same kind of affection towards their parents and children. We just have to come out of our shell and start talking, by that way we will not start feeling loneliness. We Indians create an imaginative picture that Americans are totally different then us and we can't mingle with them.
Good video bro ! One point to add is the babies born here has more speech delay compared to India born babies. It would be great if you can post a separate video on that too 😊
Kids born there are really gifted . Everthing required for luxurious future is 100% guaranteed and secured. They will never face a setback situation through out the life. All the best.
Shows how little you know about the US. Every state is very different here. I can say in California to get into good schools you need to stay in the best school district. Then only your kid can go to that school. As you can guess house prices are in millions here in the good school districts. Otherwise parents have to rent only in the good school district if they cannot afford to buy homes there. Or else pay monthly hefty price for private school. So not all schools are good. Life is tough here and very costly. There is no caste issue but another things just as bad or worse. socioeconomic. Many homeless here in the streets under bridges etc. you can eat many documentaries of life in the US. Don’t just believe you tubers who either haven’t been here long or they just know their tiny are only. Usa is hugeeee
Hi Arthi Prem, thanks for your continuous effort in sharing/updating the Indian-Tamil community about USA lifestyle, immigration, and other aspects. I have a humble request, can you share the information about how to apply for OCI card for kids that are born in the USA? Expecting a video soon. Peace and Love! Stay Happy and Healthy.
Hi bro .. good video … I have two daughters 10 and 5 years old. My elder one was India until 4 yrs and younger one born here. So happy to tell you that they have good bonding with grandparents n family members from India. Elder one is student from Tamil school of Missouri and very well knowledge in Tamil reading n writing and proudly can talk about daughters. It’s all about how we grown up them and guide them bro. Thanks for your videos very helpful. I never miss them. Keep posting.
Why not travel yearly and spend summer holidays in India? Summer holidays are around 2.5 months. At least can spend 2 months yearly in India and kids will also get exposure to our Indian way of life every year.
Very well said Arthi and Prem...kids do get positive as well as negative impact wherever they grow but it is the responsibility of the parents to guide them not teach them especially if they are a teenager ...because I am dealing with one .Please do continue sharing videos as you do now kudos bro 👏
America vil pirandhu valarndha Nam tamil pen, ms padithu vittu usa vil velai parkum paiyan. Thirumanam seithal enne enna problems varum. Oru video podunga
Arumai Bro! Regarding Tamil school, It depends on the place. My kid was studying in Cincinnati Tamil sangam. It is not effective. I apppreciate the Volunteers teaching Tamil without salary. But in Texas metroplex Tamil sangam is conducting classes in a very professional way. They are giving home work, Tamil conversation videos every week, Tamil test, Thirukural potti ( rewarding 1$ per kural) etc
The California Tamil Academy has an excellent structure to teach Tamil. I see the Texas metroplex, Connecticut schools are all part of it. My son studies in one of their affiliated schools in NJ. Key is to place them in these schools as early as 3 years. The Pre-K and K levels are just fun! They teach writing in early stages. That way, kids learn all 3 languages here - English, Spanish and Tamil together and they pick up quickly if started early. You may find it too much on the kid - but it isn't. They always have potential to pick up language faster in that young age, by 5-6! I am not sure of the teaching methodologies followed in other Tamil schools.
We had the same issue and ended up rebooking the flight before 8 yrs. We should not book flights with layover in Canada as they ask for transit visa. Doesn't make any sense. Not many people especially Indians are not aware of the this.
Making them write is very challenging. Not only Tamil but also English as here they don't stress much on writing. As long as the kids are able to read and speak their mother tongue that should be sufficient in my opinion.
Agree with your points Arthi and bro. Social education, bonding towards our family, language, culture and to our people are very important. Here kids got a chance to learn adaptability and being independent from childhood. That gives them confidence which is a good thing and anyhow they will shine in education or other activities according to their talents. Equally moral values are important too for them to be a good human being. It's nice here they have a kindness week in school for them to learn from childhood.
No its like in state or out of state tuition fees Say if you resides in a state for more than a year then the state universities will charge you same irrespective of the immigration status
Hi , if they became older than 70 age practically would be very difficult for traveling more than 24 hours and staying in the cold climates in the USA and not seeing many native peoples
Simple bro, 1. Perumai a Irukkum parents ku tat his/her child is studying/working in US nu , sondhakaran verupetha 😂 2. Money they get for the work ...converting in Indian rupees n definitely savings to buy assets back in India.. 😇. And finally 3. Scene poda ..like either to marry a foreigner and settle or epdiachu foreign mapla aagiduvanga 😂
Sister become so emotional when she talked about missing the flight. Could she that in her eyes & stopped talking a while. 😢 it’s really sad when we are unable to go in needed times.
My doubt is , if the school education is excellent, there is this stereotype that indian students learn a lot more based on syllabus in terms of mathematics and other subjects in india when compared to students in US...also , the reason why all of us staying in US are getting jobs is because there is lack of skilled workers in USA....so I am not sure how much school education is a positive ...just a thought🤔
Hi bro Its the big discussion but my key point for why usa need skilled labor though education is good in the USA 🇺🇸 There are more school drop outs in the USA Engineering courses are more costly and its not affordable for all . Similar education courses are very much cheaper in Asian countries Here people will take the courses depends on their passion not like targeting IT jobs And they don’t want to take stressful job And many more
@@ArthiPrem I agree from the skilled labor perspective ...but have u also heard that indian students at school level have more coursework and are better positioned to crack SAT exams and stuff ?I am not sure how much is true neither I don't have first hand information to validate it...but this is something I have heard ...I just wonder if syllabus or coursework diverge a lot between the Indian education system and US education system at the school level.....
Either India or US, we have pros and cons bro.... It's up to individual to choose it.... But anyway we miss something... And not Happy to fullest...இக்கரைக்கு அக்கரை பச்சை 😊
Well said . Both has pros and cons. From my perspective we can have wealthy life in USA. But true healthy life is possible only in India. Sad thing is even people in India didn’t realize it.
