Timo se dió cuenta a tiempo de que el drive del contrario era mejor que el suyo. Le jugó todo al revés y esa fue la perdición de Jonathan. Timo es un gran estratega también. Bravo 💪🏻
@@philipabbett527 not it isn't. The official ITTF rules state that the post is part of the net assembly. So if the ball hits the post and goes out, the point should be awarded to the opponent.
@@Pecteu sorry, not in Europe. The post and the clamp are considered part of the table...if not he would have lost the point...and the player would have objected...which he did not even a little! Been playing in competition for 20 years, it's the rule over here with official ref's
@@philipabbett527 I'm sorry that I don't agree. The official ITTF rules state that it is part of the net assembly, not the table. Rule 2.2.1: "The net assembly shall consist of the net, its suspension and the supporting posts, including the clamps attaching them to the table." I wouldn't know why these international rules would not apply to Europe. And there is a clear consultation between both players, which I can understand in that situation.
Maybe you are confusing it with another occasionally occuring phenomenon: when you hit the ball on your side of the net post, and the ball then jumps over the net and touches the table surface of your opponent, it is a regular hit, because the ball touched the net on your side (and not the table).
Why you never inform the game's date? That was 26 Jun 2019.
In was in 2019.....

@46.47 that is Timo trademark ! Jonathan would have a better chance if he could stop putting such a high pressure on himself ...easy does it.
Timo looks a bit disappointed all over the match
45:06 Why did Timo get the point when his ball touched the net post but not the table?
The net post is considered part of the table

I thought Timo retired after the Paris Olympics. He too old and needs to go and save his legacy .
his opponent it too young , he cant withstand the pressure.
